Hello everyone from Russia, an interview with the developers of The Day Before was recently released on the Russian part of UA-cam. In short, 2 brothers decided to enter AAA games with a minimal budget, hired 60 junior developers and promised them success. During their work, these 2 brothers set impossible tasks for the developers, the requests were as follows, quote: “Do this for us like in GTA,” I repeat, they did not do projects for people who were larger than indie games. For the slightest criticism of them you were fired. The game was transferred to the next version of the engine 2 weeks before release simply because of the wishes of these 2 brothers. And in the end, before the studio was closed, the enthusiastic developers were ready to release a global patch that fixed many problems, but they were not allowed and their studio was announced to be closed. In general, if you see these two charlotans, don’t believe them and drive them to hell, they have already created a new studio and are going to deceive people again. Don't blame the developers, they suffered so much humiliation during development and so many good ideas and finished versions of the game were thrown out.

Belarusian bloggers, gaming journalists who are popular in the countries of the former USSR, conducted interviews with developers. It's all about two managers who hired newcomers and kept forcing them to remake the game
This was an advertisement that an enthusiast would make in a month on his knee in UE 5. In short, people had very little experience working on such a project. The two directors of this game set unrealistic tasks for junior programmers who worked 30 days a month. Salaries were paid on time. They were eager to make a good game. But since there was no correct technical specification, the directors did not like the final result, they did not say what exactly they did not like. There was a phrase - “this element in the game is not AAA enough, redo it.” or else “the game should have expensive cars and accessories, like wristwatches, so that they don’t think that we are making a game for the poor.” Now the game is being closed, and the developers themselves are shocked by this. So my question, how in the trailer did they get it to look so good, and then actual gameplay is ass? Like they had the game made and then at release they just chopped it down? I’m so confused.
The gameplay was fake, it was scripted, in programming one can give actions to objects, in this case an NPC to walk, run, generally when one tries to show a developer so that they can finance the project, they do that which is faster than make the NPC respond through programming controls. Many of the developers have already come out to confirm that the game was single-palyer and the "MMO" was added at the last minute, but with 2 weeks left until December 7, the two Russian brothers who were in charge of the game gave the order to move to UE5 which caused all those bugs that were very fun to see.
@@marcelopalacios3760 why did they decide to switch to UE5 at the last minute and still decide to go ahead with launch? If they did have an actual game why would they sabotage years of their own work and rush it out?
@@Verociity One of the many "Delays" was the excuse of moving to UE5 in 2022, they announced it, it is clear that they were inexperienced developers with ambitions far above their capabilities.

@@overout6799 very simple question YES OR NO ?
@@ledocteurgonzohe said no?
That’s offroad vehicle is a combination of Aro 244 and Mercedes G Wagon
Why have I never heard of this game before?? It looks like it could have been great if they put more effort into the gameplay.
The idea of it sounds awesome but the people failed to actually put any effort into the game
those plopp sounds killing me :D
If you want that offroad part of the game just play SnowRunner.
Embarrassing 😂
0:45 the song 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
They must have fired all the actual game developers after they wouldn't stop calling each other by the wrong pronouns.
?
conservatives try not to make up situations that don't happen challenge (impossible)
There was a good idea and game here unfortunately it was never managed correctly. Hell Cyberpunk was basically in Early Access for 3 years and it has done a 180. Sad we will never know what could have been if this game was handled differently.
imagine using gta sa cop car sirens
2:50 Не ну достойно сделано. Какие-то бомжы подошли к уровню Watch Dogs 1.
5:15 is that police siren sfx from GTA San Andreas?
the music when the final product is shown 😂 so good
I wonder if they hacked a few assets into mud runner for that demo.
The silly music 😭😭 lol 😂
Mathchief warned everyone about this game years ago. To those who got scammed, you asked for it
3:25 From Far Cry 1 M4 shooting sound
5:12 Os caras simplesmente colocaram o mesmo som de sirene da viatura do GTA San Andreas
0:32 what the heck is this mobile game enter car animation?!
This is what happens when you procrastinate all week for the project, and on the last night you do it, this is what comes out, idk how they even thought this was acceptable to release
We all knew it was a scam and would be bad, but this is not bad this is terrible, I feel like me and my mates could do a little better of a project given the time they had tbh
