Hey y’all, I do belt squats I’m the guy in my videos. The last two should be me doing belt squats to failure or I can’t remember how I did it but the question I have is…. Am I going to get turn up legs by doing squats only, I also do calves pretty hard. I change out the width of my foot position so I get a lot of my leg muscles but I keep hearing about the turnup legs LOL and yes I’ve seen some dudes do have turnup legs. It’s pretty gnarly lookin.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you staying natural all these years, it seems most fitness influencers have started using steroids and it’s very apparent.
The new gym starter kit now includes gear. It's very sad. And a lot of these guys are only in the game for a year or 2 max.
Natural is the way to go!

This is basically the leg workout I do, except I do barbell RDLs and walking Lunges and I prefer using the leg press for my calves.

@@ScottHermanFitness I'm currently doing a full body workout 3 times a week cause I have two little kids and I'm not always able to make it three times a week. I have done the split before though. I love everything you put out. It all works!

Perfect workout plan. I have 1 hour lunch break and a smaller size gym at work and workout like this fits perfectly in my schedule. If you could do similar video for upper body, it would be perfect.
I started narrowing my squat stance and squatting ass to grass after I injured my lumbar, and honestly I love it, it feels great on my back.

Scott, I wanted to ask you what you think about 30/40 seconds between sets?
Thanks! And short rest periods are ok! Really depends on the pacing of the workout.
For example, I wouldn't keep them that short when doing a workout like this one! You will need much more rest after doing three exercises in a row.
But a high volume workout with single sets, you can def do 30 sec rest periods!

I think i need flat sole shoes like yours,
Because yesterday i felt my foot slipping inside my current shoe which has quite a bit heel to it
My wrestling shoes are awesome man, I wear them ALL the time for lifting! Asics wrestling shoes is what you want!
In fact , i reduced my workouts to one full out set ( after warm up ones ) per muscle group per workout , choosing my favorite exercise , constantly augmenting the weight every time i train. Best progress i have ever made in my 11 years of training. Doesn't mean it works for everybody , but it sure does for me.
As long as you're progressing and enjoying your training then that's what matters most bro!

After the squats would stiff legged dumbbell lifts and dumbbell Romanian split lunges on the bench be ok too?

I never hit the thigh machine; it just feels too awkward for me. I tried once, and I wasn't a huge fan but maybe try it again.
Felt awkward for both adduction and abduction?
Yes, I couldn't get comfortable in the machine. It felt like I was fighting the machine more than doing quality reps, so I tried lowering the weight but then it became far too easy. I tried adjusting the seat and arms, and still felt weird. I will give it a go again, though.

yes, takes some times to nail down. Practice makes perfect. Try holding one dumbbell at a time and use the other hand for support!
