Ty you Geraldine for sharing this, experience sorry for the loss of your dog companion... ❤.ty Fred for bringing this experience to us, got goose bumps for sure!
Hiking Mt Lassen 2017: The summit trail was closed for maintenance so a fellow camper and I decided to full moon it to the top. 100 meters up the trail we caught yellow eyeshine 5 meters above and ten meters in front of us in the brush. The eyes were a minimum 30 cm (1 ft) apart. I don't think cats get that big. Needless to say we turned around in a hurry.
Something big brown and hairy came off a hillside N of Shingletown, on hwy 44, caught up with me, doing 55 mph. Slammed my car so hard it stopped. Front fender and door demolished. 1990.

Hi Fred from R.I. 😊 Thank you and Geraldine for sharing this horrific encounter. My heart breaks for your loss, Geraldine. It's terrible what occurred and that you witnessed it all. Gratefully, you escaped unhurt. Thank you again, Fred, for the awesome storytelling. As always, I am looking forward to more to come.
Fred, you got the best show on this channel. I love your channel Fred. I want you to be safe Fred and I know you’re gonna keep getting us better and better evidence about the Harry man. Keep doing what you’re doing brother Fred we love you.
Geraldine, my dog is as loyal as they come. I can't imagine what you went through. You'll be in my prayers and I'm sorry you had to experience such life altering fear and loss. 💕💕
There are few things more powerful than the relationship between people and their animals..for me, my dogs. I cannot imagine losing my best friend to a monster..but I can assure you that I would do my best to find it and exact revenge.
My heart breaks for Geraldine. Watching your beloved animal being killed in front of you is awful! God bless her! Thank you Fred for sharing her story and having the compassion you possess. I know your channel helps many people cope with their nightmares.
Hello fred it's Thomas from the pine barrens of New Jersey. I've been with you from the beginning & you still are the best story teller on here Thank you Geraldine for sharing that horrific story. It breaks my heart to hear when our best friends dogs tragically end to these things. That hairy man needs to be dealt with . You are so brave for what you went through. I wish you the best & God bless. Fred I loved the video with you & Miguel. He's a great dude too just like you . Both of your channels are some of the very few I watch. Thanks for the story, Fred. It was a terribly frightening event for the woman, especially her dog getting killed. The hairy man must have been quite angry to tear the head off even after the dog was killed. I don't blame her for wanting to live in a safer location!
Great truth we don’t get much of that these days thanks 4 all you do and all ur hard work you put into to getting all this info out to us what ur doing is very important be safe out there these things r out there
Thanks for sharing this with us Fred, you always do a fine job sir. If that squatch did that to my dog, he would be joining him. Keep up the good work Fred 👍🏻👍🏻
Oh my gosh, poor Geraldine and her pup. Why did this hairy man act this way? It did not want to steal her, but why scare the hell of her and hurt her dog? It is hard not to feel like the hairy man was just being malicious. Thank you, Fred. Best wishes.

Very heartbreaking encounter as well traumatizing. I’m so sorry for your loss Geraldine but thank God you made it out of their! Thank you for allowing your encounter to be shared. I can’t imagine it being a easy thing to share let alone talk about but Fred’s really doing a awesome thing on this channel by getting this information out to people and by doing so keeping people safe
This was a very gut wretching encounter and it gives us more food for thought to think about the actions of the harryman. I got to say thank you Fred your awesome!! Ps I'm not a computer geek by any means.
Thanks, Fred and Geraldine, for sharing. The words are hard to come by on this one. Keep strong, sharing your incountter with strong, wise individuals will help . Never give in . Remember, fear is the mind killer.
Maybe, since everywhere else has so much more human activity that those HM's begin to familiarize their actions with our reactions and see that has consequences? So much forest visitation by humans where close to towns and cities but in Alaska, these HM's are still "rough", to them, we're "interesting" or a nuisance and likely, a good meal where convenience and "hangry" intersect.
I feel so bad for Geraldine and want to thank her for sharing her terrifying encounter. Its hard to put yourself in her shoes, but one thing i know is that situstion will be with her forever. Prsying for you Geraldine and thanks Fred . 😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you, Fred. I am so, so sorry Geraldine - what a horrific encounter. Several heroes in your encounter, though... your loyal and loving doggo, and the neighbor, who went out there alone - not having any idea what he might come across. Sounds like from the woops you heard, there was more than one of them. So, special thanks to this neighbor, who investigated alone, and was able to retrieve the remains for proper burial. And remember, he recently had his own encounter with the hairyman, playing in his mind !! Fred, are there any historical accounts from native ethnic groups as to Sasquatch consuming Psilocybin mushrooms and how they’d react to it? I figure that it must happen occasionally, there are places in the Columbia River valley and parts of British Columbia where I’ve found literally thousands of them growing together in small clearings.
