      Follow the old Norse word
      Joton
From those who lived much closer to the land with out electricity
It refers to giants who are eaters,,
That certainly sounds like the 23.29 narration ,,,
Vibrational matching also explains why some see, Wile others don't ..

Loved the ending quote, Eli. Another great documentary. I had family who lived in Alaska and they adored the wilderness. My cousin, when she died, was cremated and her ashes scattered in the river she loved to hike beside. Yeah, Alaska can kill you without even blinking. But it also can make you alive like no other place in this world.

Another great video! In regards to that guy talking about Squatch "......tearing open the dudes chest and pulling out his guts..." isn't to far fetched. When hunters gut an animal in the woods, they just disappear. A gunshot echoing in the woods is like a dinner bell to BF. Missing persons are definitely related to certain tribes of BF. Old Indian tribes knew the land and its creatures. They knew more about BF than anyone and stories are records of past events. I believe there are many different tribes of BF and not all are hunters of humans......but there could be some that do hunt humans.

Right off the bat the beginning lines of this narrator starts off with introducing this unknown being as “Monstrous”, sowing the seeds for anything caught in the shadows at the ending of the day, to be made into something only our imagination could dream up, and then tag this creation together with all the numerous other stories that roll out in the hope of giving an explanation and possible understanding to what is happening while also giving the people a sense of unity to come together to try and find an answer that can possibly help solve the problem.
I apologize for this turning into a novel or thesis on “Monsters” lol, but I think it’s something worth thinking about.
Thanks for your patience and I sincerely hope you all have an amazing day/night. Much respect to you all!

In 2009 while hiking alone with my 2 dogs deep in the back country of north western British Columbia near Quesnel Lake, my female Husky ran off to the north while furiously barking, soon after my male Husky followed suit, and within one minute of running out of sight I could hear them both fighting something, they were both barking, and growling, I could hear them viciously fighting, then I heard them both whining, and suddenly there was silence, followed by a incredibly loud wail that was almost ear shattering.
I then saw the large pine trees in front of me, (30 feet or so tall) begin to sway back and forth, with some of them breaking and cracking, I realized in those moments that a Bigfoot was there, charging right towards me. I turned and began running back to the main trail when in no time I was hit on the back of my head by a large rock and fell unconscious.
Next thing I knew was waking up and finding myself being dragged by my bound up feet through the woods for about a half an hour and into the Bigfoot's home base, a large and well hidden cave tucked into the side of a rocky hill at the base of a mountain.
It was there that I saw many other Sasquatches, about 8 of them or so, with little children type Sasquatches there as well, it was kind of dark and difficult to see clearly. They stared at me and watched as the one who captured me unbound my legs and attached to my left leg, a type of iron leg cuff, that was then attached to a large rock that was in a room within the front of the cavernous environment I now found myself imprisoned within. There I watched as another Sasquatch enter the cave with my dead dogs, it then began to skin and cut up my dead dogs, preparing them for cooking, which afterwards they ate.
I had a dreadful feeling that I would be next, I knew in my heart that I was to be their next meal because I saw three human skulls close to where I was bound. Lucky for me though this would not be the case, as I eventually, soon after, slipped from my poorly fashioned leg cuff during the night and made haste my very quiet escape as they slept. And so I have lived to write these words of my harrowing ordeal of being captured by a group of Bigfoots. And finally I,ll just add that after seeing the males up close and naked, I now understand why they are called Big-foot. To this day I am truly thankful for every day that I continue to live, and I have not, and will never go back into the woods ever again.

I find this topic extremely fascinating. My wife and I lived in Alaska for a few years. I personally liked to go to this lake called Beach Lake in Eagle River. On of those trips, I took my wife with me, and after spending some time there, we decided to go home
That entire area is heavily wooded it takes some time to get to the lake. On the way out. I was just enjoying and taking the beauty of the area when all I heard was, "Please go go!!! speed up, go go !!!. She did not say much after that.. soon after. She started to tell me that she saw a very large man, not fat , like but very tall and mucular with one arm on a tree. She said the tree looked like a twig next to this thing.. she mentioned the scruffy black.. brownish hair. And the eyes.. she said it felt like it was looking right through her. There is something dark about these creatures. With the level of technology we have and we can not track them.. something very unsettling about that.

I'm an Alaskan and the idea that native Alaskans tell stories of the hairy man sometimes taking people is to keep women and children from wandering off and getting mauled by grizzly bears is pure idiocy. Wouldn't it simply be enough to tell them don't wander off or you might be mauled and eaten by a grizzly bear?
The reality is the First Nations people warn their children of the dangers posed by several large animals including brown bears, black bears, wolves, moose (especially cows with calves), and the hairy man as well. There's no need to make up imaginary dangers when there are plenty of real dangers to beware of.

Yeah I feel like, as much as I respect Aleks he seems incredibly resistant to believe that perhaps at some point these creatures, if they exist, have kidnapped humans. The idea these creatures could be more aggressive or have a different way of operating from the Sasquatch present hundreds of miles sound isn't that hard to believe and in fact makes perfect sense.
I think it's a hesitancy to believe some of these creatures could be actively malicious and others may not be.

Honestly, I think Alaska Sasquatch are the most aggressive because the scarcity of food and the long Winters. I lived up there for 20 years and man there is nothing for miles and miles and miles sometimes. So a Sasquatch would have to be an opportunist. They would eat whatever came along. It wouldn't be personal. They would be hungry just like us. If we were starving, we'd kill whatever we could! There's a lot more food availability in the United States, that's why they don't seem to be as aggressive down here would be my guess. But also Alaska breeds aggressiveness cuz it's the only way to survive. You got Kodiak bears. You got grizzly bears. You got moose. You got cougars. You got wolves and Sasquatch and us. The only way to survive up there is to be the dominant the most aggressive, the most monstrous creature you can be. We're not even the top five predator up there. And we've got guns. This was a very good documentary and the guy said the same thing. I always said we are the real monsters and they emulate us!! We're lucky those things tolerate us at all in the woods. With the intelligence they obviously have to have they know what we're doing to their environment and their homes. We're lucky they don't kill everyone as best they see!!!

Loved this video! I've been looking forward to it ever since watching the trailer some weeks ago. My only complaint is the many instances of AI generated art throughout the video. I know it's cheaper to get an AI to churn out images, but I know a fair number of artists who would be thrilled to work on a project like this, and the moral implications are unsettling.
Regardless, I enjoyed the video, especially the segment with Fred Roehl. You can see in his eyes, he believes the story he tells, there's legitimate fear there.
My father had a brief encounter with something Bigfoot-like on Mount Rainier in the early 80s. He told the story to me many times, and never deviated from it or embellished it, so I definitely believe there's something out there. More than likely it's something like the indigenous people describe, both spirit and physical, which is why it's so elusive.

Nice film Seth. Alaska is insanely wild and epic. Just vast, and possibly my favorite place. I was backpacking off trail in Denali out in the tundra and heard one single very loud smack sound in the middle of the night near the tent. It woke me instantly and had me actually fearing that a big brown bear was near the tent. But the next day I was thinking about how odd it was that it was a single loud smack. Maybe a rock that fell off the nearby river bank. It’s always raining, so the soil easily moves.

I don't understand. I've seen this before. Why does STM keep premiering old content that we've all seen before? Or different stuff but with all the same interviews that we've seen already. I'm not throwing shade, just highly confused.

    • @LazyDaisyDay88
      @LazyDaisyDay88 3 місяці тому

Agree that the content is now quite repetitious. I think all 'bigfoot' channels go this way eventually. I view these videos as simply great stories with some Alaskan scenery thrown in. No evidence is every produced, no progress is ever made. But they're still fun to watch. And I guess the content creators get some money out of it, so...

Fox chittering can sound like kids talking in a foreign language, sometimes it will almost sound like you know a word or two. We use to have a few fox here before the coyotes killed them all. The sound you play at 3:28 is not what I would call a Fox sound.

You didn’t mention that the ape canyon incident was started by the humans.
They saw a Sasquatch up on a mountain and they shot it in cold blood. And it fell down the mountain
And this is why the Sasquatch retaliated on them!!
This is an important part of the story.
I don’t think they’re violent just to become violent against people. I think that they have to be provoked first which is whathappened at Ape Canyon.
