Now that was spot on.Best video with information on how to explain and simplify the makings and marketing of something simple.I will definitely duplicate this one.You kept it simple mate.lol.Thank you for sharing.
I made these the other day one of the easiest recipes to follow, did everything with the ingredients you mentioned and went down a treat with the while family. Many thanks for sharing with us.
I used your recipe last May at my Brit Day Champions League Final Party and they were fantastic. Everyone loved them and I am here in Sacramento, Ca. Used that recipe one time since and think it is the best sausage roll recipe! I am making them again this weekend pre-Christmas. Great work Sir.
brilliant job mate, Ive just ordered the ingrediants for my delivery this week & will be making these beauties. What a brilliant tonic during these times of lockdown!
Oh my gawd! I love you....Plus I'd pay a fiver to eat a sausage roll here in Atlanta right now. God Bless you for the wonderful recipe. My Christmas eve party is gonna be a smash. XOXOXO
i just made these but instead of puff pastry i made little buns with biscuit dough they came out pretty tasty. Im so glad I could finally try one for your recipes!
No one knows what sausage rolls are here in America, but I love them. I grew up in a family that's very British(my grandparents grew up there), and I love the recipes they have. Here we have pigs in a blanket, it's nothing compared to sausage rolls.
We eat pigs in blankets every year with christmas dinner here in the north of england, mini sausages wrapped in a piece of streaky bacon. Mmm sausage pig, bacon blanket.
Dude your channel is awesome! I've just find it last week and I am watching all the episodes! Great recipe, I'll try that one at home! :) all the best bro! cheers from Ecuador (South America), I'm from Uruguay but lived in Ecuador for the last 9 years.
Thanks...I just subscribed to your channel after seeing your salted mocha drink!! :P These sausage rolls look so simple to make...I would pay $4 for that sausage roll here in Australia :D
ooooh, you're playing with fire here! Us wee Australians have a very long tradition of Sausage Roll recipes, I cant wait to try this one out. Ill let you know how this goes compared the usual sausage mince, grated carrot-onion-potato and light puff pastry that fills so many of our bakeries. I find that sweet chilli sauce, just enough so that you cant taste sweet chilli sauce (ironically) is a quick shortcut for full flavour. So many places here though create far too wet sausage rolls. I think they dont drain the moisture from the veges first.
I'm actually planning on making some sausage rolls today but was just going to add some thyme and shredded apple to the sausage meat, as per. Seeing these I'm definitely going to add some caramelised onion to the mix and double up on the quantity so I've got the choice of two recipes. How much would I pay for these? Probably £2.50 max, but they look delicious.
Cool recipe! It looks delicious. :) Quick question though, why not brown the meat either with the onions and the balsamic or afterwards in the same pan? Or maybe cook the onions in the same pan as the meat was browned?
English sausage meat is just pork heavily flavoured with herbs and spices. You should be able to get the ingredients to make traditional styles of sausage. Use t'internet for a bit of research. Happy sausage hunting.
Hello Dear Food Busker, Nice meal. I'd pay 4 pounds. Can I use regular homemade italian (egg and flour) pasta or should be something specific? Is there any way to increase the taste of the pasta (paprica, oregano) ? Thanks
We have to make our own sausage rolls here in Florida. Mum is English and knows the real deal. I'm our resident Chef and have found that Jimmy Dean Sage sausage works great with Pillsbury Pie crusts. The only thing I do differently from this guy is that I cook my sausage first. Once cooked, drained, and towel dry THEN I put the sausage in the pie crust dough. Putting the sausage in the crust raw creates too much grease and your rolls comes out super soggy. Minched raw onion works great with the pre cooked sausage inside the roll but don't use too much. Skip the Worchester sauce in the recipe. No need for it at all. Try these and enjoy ! Cook your sausage rolls for about 20 mins at 375 F.
We have something similar here called a kolache. The big difference is that a yeast roll dough is used instead of puff pastry. But I’d very much like to give one of these babies a try!
3-0 mate awesome, your food is always mega brother! like an english food busketeer! Off topic question if i may, I'm vegan, if i cook tartiflette or pasta what can i use for a pancetta substitute? Thank you, have a nice day mate!
Is the meat filling closer to an American bratwurst or closer to an American breakfast sausage? I want to try one but don’t know anywhere that sells them.
I personally don't know what a bratwurst or an american breakfast sausage is but I've hoovered up a fair few sausage rawls. Sausage rolls are made from heavily seasoned pork mince, lots of herbs and spices, some of the pork might be cured like bacon and lots of herbs and spices in the meat make it a treat to eat.

2,50 is a fair price. Never thought of using sausages like that (sliding them out of their skins and mixing). Awesome stuff, lots of love.

@@plasticbudgie no she means fried potatoes
@@CourageDaDog5 I'm American and my wife is British, It's chips.
Mohd Taufik Mohammad salad. . . u wot mate?
It’s salad or chips, not both.
Salad makes the chips soggy, chips make the salad squishy.

You antipodean heathens, vegetables aren't seasoning. You only need a few herbs, salt and pepper for sausage rolls.

Meat pie, sausage roll, come on England score us a goal!
In Thailand it is really difficult to get good sausages would this recipe work with pork mince, would I need add some stuff to mince and if so what?
English sausage meat is just pork heavily flavoured with herbs and spices. You should be able to get the ingredients to make traditional styles of sausage. Use t'internet for a bit of research. Happy sausage hunting.
tried it. won. nice one, gov.
question would the sausage have been cooked thru in 25 minutes? thanks
I don't know about the lemon and balsamic vinegar but it does look tasty
Thanks for your awesome recipes my brother!
PS: I was wondering what brand are your glasses?

***** thanks dor clarifying. I cannot find it in the supermarkets here
+Alexander Búfalo I would say just use a normal Pizza dough for the rolls. Works fine here where I'm from.
+Alexander Búfalo Use A few layers of Filo
Those look so delish!! What sausage did you use there? Like pork or what? :)
Any Christmas recipes with the food busker twist coming soon?

What did you bake that at?
what type of sausages did you use?
Is it just me...or does it look undercooked?
It is just you :)
yes a bit too pink
The thing is undercooked at hell man I wouldn't eat that should have left it longer on a slower heat
I actually asked if it would be good to brown the meat first. :) Hoping for an answer.
I personally would take them a bit longer to give them more golden brown on the pastry but they were still edible and clearly delicious.
My school tuck shop sells reheated sausage rolls for $2.50 NZD. Your pricing is amazing.
Alex Chen in Australia bro, the reheated sausage rolls are $4.50 AUD... it's horrible! HAHAAH
Alex Chen How in my school we pay 40p for a sausage roll
Alex Chen it's like 25 cents
What kind of sausage do you use?
Yummy!
We have something similar here called a kolache. The big difference is that a yeast roll dough is used instead of puff pastry. But I’d very much like to give one of these babies a try!
How long do you bake it and how many degrees.?
Did you actually watch the video?
tongey1 I'm pretty sure he did watch it but it was a bit hard hearing what he said. I'm guessing 4 marks is 400 degrees?
Are those Lincolnshire sausages, mate?
3-0 mate awesome, your food is always mega brother! like an english food busketeer! Off topic question if i may, I'm vegan, if i cook tartiflette or pasta what can i use for a pancetta substitute? Thank you, have a nice day mate!
Thank you for the advice, will certainly try those!
May i ask what type of bread/wrapper was used?
It was puff pastry
