wow! this is genius. thanks Dan! good 'ol PVC - can be used for anything and everything.👍🏼
Thanks! My favorite part is it’s an auto feeder that drops the bars down after one is ate and you can also see if there is any activity. Thanks for watching. 👍
@@inspiringbuilds that is an awesome touch! can't wait to see what you build you next!
nice contraption. I like the handiness of it. I'll have to make some for our shop area by the woods. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you. I’m confident this would work well for you. Those bait bars in the description have worked great over the years. 👍
I like the simplicity of this and especially anything that will help get rid of those disgusting and destructive yard pests!
Thank you! I agree, it’s challenging enough making your yard look good and keeping up with it.
Pretty cool little set up! I love that you can reuse this as many times as you want
Thanks! True, just the one time up front cost for the bait station. My favorite is it’s an auto feeder that drops the bars down after one is ate and you can also see if there is any activity. Thanks for watching. 👍
Sweet! I like this set up. Thank you for sharing this, very easy to follow.
Thanks so much and you’re welcome. 👍
I have built these and use them continuously. My tips are to make sure you use stainless steel threaded rod and hardware as they rust quickly and it became challenging to get the nut off and add more bait.
@@on4acres Thanks for watching and the tip. I use mine continuously as well, very handy!
Love that it can be re-used!!
Thank you, definitely makes it easy and the only additional out of pocket cost is bait, but the bag last quite a while.
I love this idea. Very easy to follow for the build thanks
Thank you. I would be curious of the results building a few for the farm.
Solid work! I might be doing something similar to get rid of the mice by our chicken coop.
@@berlinbuilds Thank you. I wouldn’t second guess it, these things have been GOLD the last year for me. I’d buy the material and build several of them.
Thanks!
Thanks Jim, I appreciate you watching and your support for the channel. I ensure you it will go back into making more content to help and inspire my subscribers. Have a blessed day!
Great idea. It's really helpful. 😄😄
Thanks so much. I’m glad it helped and appreciate the feedback. Welcome to the channel!
Very cool set up! Bye Bye Moles!!! ✌🏻
Thank you and yes, hopefully forever!
Thank you. I'll make a couple tomorrow.
You’re very welcome, let me know if you need anything or have any questions. 👍
I have the same bait product but it came with a mouse bait station. My voles can't get their fat little bottoms through the door. Thanks for the tutorial, I'm going out to get a few built for tonight. The voles are devastating my garden.
They will have no issues fitting in this bait station as it’s even good for rats. Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel.
Fabulous. Thx
A couple of questions. Can I just put the bait on the ground near their holes instead of making all the set up stuff?
how do the bait kill the voles and mice.
@@dd_zzero6827 I would either make one or purchase these:
Bait Stations: amzn.to/3Ehhu4u
Bait Blocks: amzn.to/45w8sg6
The bait station is like an auto feeder where the next bait drops down after the first one is ate and keeps the bait protected from moisture as well as invites the rodents in. It kills them as they eat the bait and they take it back to their nests and it kills a bulk of them quick instead of messing around with one trap at a time hoping to eventually get them all.
This is great! Thank you!
Glad it helped, thanks for watching! Let me know if you have any questions or need anything. 👍
What bait have you found works best? I’ve been using TOMCAT BAIT CHUNKS but these voles aren’t eating it.
@@rickybobby3043 Thanks for watching, I would try these: Bait Blocks: amzn.to/45w8sg6
Wow just what I'm looking for. Thanks!
Glad I could help and thanks for watching. Do you plan on building or buying bait stations? Let me know if you need anything.
Ok install to what? Will it blow away or flood?
Thanks for watching. Use the straps and spikes shown in the video/listed in the description and install them in the ground. I’ve had them setup for over a year with high winds and no issues with blowing away or flooding. 👍
How often do you refill a station?
@@dscott11 Thanks for watching! I recommend checking each station monthly and refill frequencies depend on the amount of activity. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Will chipmunks get into this?
@@BabyStewStew Thanks for watching! I haven’t had any issues with chipmunks,
squirrels, or rabbits as I’ve had them all around the property. This design also protects against the weather. 👍
@@inspiringbuilds I’ve had these out for four days now and no bites yet. My lawn is being absolutely destroyed and I’m hoping this will help solve the issue.
