I live on the nor north side of the cheviots, 15/20 miles. I've got a 10 year old son that adores camping too. Would l9ve a bivvy camp together with the kids. It look beautiful up there. We've never been up into the hills (cheviots) that far yet. Great video, loved it.

Family time is the best! Have you considered trying bungees with the tarp set up? Keeps the tension on all around, but allows it to flex and move in the wind. Great video with some stunning views.....thanks for sharing.

Bella is cute. Reminds me of camping with my daughters and now my granddaughter. Hope I can manage to do it with my grandsons. I doubt it though. Ageing is happening faster than I thought it would 🥴. Funny thing is I am still 28 in my head. Enjoy. You can see your her no1🔥
Awesome video! Got to have lots of snacks! The bivvy set up reminds me of going on an Outward Bound camp when I was in school in Australia - at about 16 years old. Now I sleep in the back of my Toyota Landcruiser when I go camping in the Victorian High Country. I'm warm and comfortable even in a storm. Make sure you spend plenty of time with Bella, kids grow 'too old' for camping before you know it. The historical places where I go camping only date back to the gold rush - 1850's and onwards.
@@northumberlandmountainhopper I have also used second Inside to brace the windward side during storm. I do that with tarp tent pitch as well Doesn’t budge 🔥
Hi Adrian, looks like Bella may end up following in your footsteps and being a future you tuber given how much she was blown away with the views and the experience. Great parenting skills there. I think i remember you saying in an earlier video that you were hoping the kids would get into camping and you tube would be a great way of keeping a record of the ecperience.
