Actually a turbo is the same principle as a jet engine. Actually they got the idea for the Jet engine when they had turbos on propeller aircraft. A jet engine just has around 13 compressor wheels, 4 turbine wheels, and a fan blade up front for bypass air which creates most of the thrust. Instead of the exhaust spinning the turbine it's spun by combustion of fuel and a shaft from the compressors, but if it wasnt for turbos we wouldn't have jet engines. So he wasnt as wrong as you would think.

No put that hose back. That’s a breather box for the car. I deleted mine and cracked my pistons because the pressure wasn’t being released anywhere. That’s for the PCV valve. That’s basically an OEM catch can. Connect that box back or get a catch can

The kit comes with a restrictor because the oil pressure tends to make oil leak through the seals and you end up just burning a lot of oil, especially on a chinesr choo choo.
Also, your turbo honestly needs to be flipped, hot side is always on the passenger side. It was designed for the turbo to face that way so the downpipe can be installed where the factory header used to routed beside the oil pan. If you wanted a normal exhaust, you couldn't route the exhaust correctly the way you have it oriented right now..
Also saves intercooler piping because the cold side is now closer the driver side of the intercooler instead of routing weird zigzag behind the condenser.
Feed line is probably leaking because it requires the end fitting to be tight so it can seal against the hose. If the 90 degree fitting you have on the turbo doesn't have threads long enough, the line won't seal correctly.

I have watched just 2 videos of you and i already love it so much!!
thats why you get a straight up feed and just tighten it down thats how i did my car and never had a problem mostly just had drain problems then tapped the oil pan and its fine now... it was a turbo car from the factory and couldn't use the original drain anymore the turbo was hanging down too low, that plus some really good bolts holding the turbo up cause they will loosen up fast with the heat but after some nice bolts and stuff i was good to go.

Can some on correct me if in wrong I really am unsure but aren't usually ebay turbo good with oil restrictions they say they help with life of the seals also cause I got mine from cx racing and they recommended a oil restrictor on my journal bearing

Got that backwards son, actually ball bearing turbos can disperse more oil (hence dash 4 feed, with no restrictor.) Journals if bigger than -3 you should use a .095 restrictor pill a full dash 4 feed can overoil and blow seals then bearings. I un .095 restrictor and dash 4 on my RB25

I know this is an older vid but I recently just bought a 2005 Honda Civic lx and lowkey this inspires me to make it a bit faster and better looking(not gonna be buying turbo yet tho)
So I'm curious as to why u didnt flip your turbo around so the hotside is on the left.. and easier to connect to the exhaust.... and have the cold side on the right.. which is the side... thats easiest to connect to the intercooler? What gives?

For that fitting thats leaking you should have used a pipe fitting tap it tapers down and is shaped like a cone so the fitting doesn't leak. Love the vids keep it up
