Hi mate Great chill content, I also have plastic cable ties, I cort myself with a chainsaw once and used two of them as a tourniquet to stop the bleeding!. I have the biggest size ones and drill a 1mm hole in the lock part, so I can insert a 1mm rod and release the lock. A lot better than massing around with bits of sting, when you only have one hand available!. Thanks, Great content, hope ur keeping well.
I don't know your name and I came across your video by chance, but it has been a pleasure since seeing your bushcraft equipment as real as most using from a 70 or 80 liters trekind bag, zip lock bags, plastic taper, your kitchen kit unlike others who carry a lot of money in their bodies with clothes, equipment, knives so expensive....... It was a pleasure to see your video👍👍
Ive tested a lot of expensive outdoor gear over the years and one thing ive learnt is.. cheap, practical functional kit is all I will ever need .. Thank you for your feedback.. Much appreciated.
Thats what I ike to hear!.. I did ask people in the part 2 vid (working on part 2 as we speak) if they can make any recommendations for decent a kip matt.. Thanks mate.
@@CampCraftSurvivalSkills No problem. They're not cheap but worth the money. They also do a series of cots, of which I have the ultralight version. That combined with the mat gives a very good night's sleep. Just depends how much weight you're prepared to carry. I only really use the cot if not going far. I live in the Sierra Nevada mountains in southern Spain so going light is highly important given the terrain. Less of the bushcraft gear ( although I have it and use it ) and more of the light compact stuff. Enjoy. Ps my mat is over ten years old so hope they still warranty them the same today.
@@alexpervanoglu7420 I definitely dont mind spending a bit more money if its reliable kit.. reliability is the key when it comes to being out in the field!.. thanks for the heads up.. much appreciated.
Amazing for your video of Roughing it on a 3 Day Exmoor Wild Camping Adventure. I love your video and thanks for sharing.🥰

OK ca ma ron OK cancel 😂😅
Instead of cable ties and gaffer tape, why not bank line and a good selection of simple knots.
On this occasion... I used cable ties and tape for a rod instead of bank lines.. changes it up a bit
