Jirard, which of your Platnium trophies are you most proud of? Like, if they were physical trophies you could pawn, which would you cash in and which would you put on the mantle?
I actually have a big soft spot for "bargain bin" indie games like these. They remind me of all the hours I'd waste away in flash game websites, and they make up a good portion of my steam library. I wouldn't mind seeing more bite-sized content in this channel reviewing these kinds of games
Just a shame a lot of them are way overpriced for one or two hours of content at best. Donut county was going for nearly $25 at one point when they game is shorter than my commute to work
Same here, sometimes, it's just fun to play something not so triple A. A good time is a good time, regardless of the size of the studio or the games fame.
In case you don't know, the developer and 2 Left Thumbs are releasing a Classic Pack of the series on Steam that contains Worlds 1-3, plus World 1 Remaster and Remix, and Fancy Snowboarding. The dev is also doing a World 2 Remaster that will be added later.
For me, I immediately think of Ghost of Tsushima for this because the game and completion experience was such a joy to play and I’m looking forward to playing the Iki Island expansion on Monday 😊
I couldn't recommend Donut County any more than I currently do. I got it for about €2 on Nintendo Switch, so a euro an hour. The story telling was utterly charming. I would be so hyped if there was ever a sequel announcement.
I think the Persona Dancing games are pretty simple games to get Platinums for, especially 3 & 5. So long as you are somewhat decent at rhythm games you’ll get those platinums fairly easily
That is the problem, you have to be decent at rhythm games, aka proficient at a skill-based game. I remember someone whining on a forum about a games difficulty rating, just because he wasnt capable of coordinating a 5 button sequence that was needed for a specific trick that others found easy due to the game being designed for children. I would personally say that the persona dancing games just take too long to be put on an easy plat list, even less on a easy to complete list. It is easily a 10+ hour commitment per game, especially when you try to go for fc in every song on every difficulty. The worst thing is, that I can't just listen to other music, which makes getting plat in 3+5 a chore, given their ost is just not as good as the ost of 4, not even close.
@@Dekaku getting a Plat doesn't always mean getting full completion, and with all the various "cheats" you can use in the Persona dancing games, you really don't need to be good at the genre. You can button mash your way to the Plat if you really want to. I've never seen anyone say a 10 hour Plat is too long before either, that's really funny.
@@mydogeatspuke Personally, to me an 'easy' plat equals to being able to plat the game in 2 hours at most without having to rely on any skill based input (basically fire-and-forget plats). An argument could be made that 10 hours shouldn't disqualify a game from being an 'easy' plat, but given the average length of the time to plat for the games in this video which is labelled as 10 easy plats, not 10 easy and quick plats, I'd say that quick to obtain (as in: I can feasibly get a plat in one sitting during a normal work day without having to deduct too much time from family) would be a valid criteria.

An Indie game I found on PS store was called Macrotis: A Mother’s Journey. It’s a simple puzzle platformer at its core, and tells an emotional story of a mother mouse trying to reunite with her children after getting swept away in a flood. It introduces new elements as it goes and has a decent and simple art style, full voice acting, and a Platinum trophy. Nothing is missable, you get the Platinum just by finishing the game. It took me about 4.5 hours though it can be done quicker by cleverer brains than mine. For a quick and easy platinum and a great little story, I can definitely recommend Macrotis: A Mother’s Journey.
The one game I got platinum because it was a joy to play, was Spiderman PS4. It just never gets boring, and getting an platinum wasn't too hard thankfully. The only thing stopping me for a while was the Web Mine trophy.
Donut County is also currently ( as of my typing this ) part of Xbox Game Pass. I completed it myself not long ago and enjoyed it quite a bit. hilarious game.

Hi Jirard! I hope that this reaches you. I have a game that should be useful to you as one of them fillers for longer games to complete! The game "Rampage Total Destruction" allows you to smash your way through many cities unlocking 30-40 monsters along the way(30 for GameCube and 40 for the WII). The game is mostly about memory an if you beat all sub challenges in each city, your guaranteed to meet the "Par Points" in the city as well. The nice thing about going through the the Par Point challenges on the 1st playthrough is that as long as one building is still standing, you can restart on that stage in the city instead of starting back at the city beginning. by doing this, you can more easily plan out the way to beat ever challenge and record the challenge items locations. I hope that sometime in the next 2-3 years this game gets a completion video!
Some other Quick, Cheap and Easy Platinum's: Mr. Massagy (Same Studio that made My Name is Mayo) Tokyo Run Chickens on the Road (Same team that made Road Bustle) Snake Boat: Otterific Adventure Coffin Dodgers

You can get 100+ platinums in a day now easily. Glad to see you highlighted the actual good and enjoyable quick and easy ones and not stuff like breakthrough games or voices games crap.

Donut County is one of the few Platinum Trophies I do have because of how easy it was to complete. And yes, I'm with your girlfriend, I'd love to see a full episode on it one of these days.
I find that Jojo’s bizarre eyes of heaven, while not exactly cheap except when it’s on sale, isn’t hard to platinum, just an opinion I thought I’d throw in
Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins just released and is a quick and fun Platinum in just 2-3 hours. It’s a “found phone” mystery game where you play through an episode of the show with actors through phone apps.
I'm a platinum hunter. I enjoy doing a really easy one then a super difficult one. Like Spider-Man then go to Dark Souls 2 for example. Ill have to put some of these games on the list.
Well since ya asked, a few years ago PS+ gave away Burly Men at Sea, a cheap indie game, for free, so I played it for a bit. I think it took me about two hours or so to get the platinum. It's a very simple game where you make a few choices per "run," making it really just a short visual novel with extra steps. I remember liking it okay but it got pretty repetitive trying to unlock every path since you have to start at the beginning each time.
This one's not easy by any means, but certainly easier than I expected: Hollow Knight. On PS4, the trophy selection is very small and can all be done on a single save file. This means that you don't need to do a Steel Soul run and you don't need to play the game twice to do any branching decisions (Grimm Troupe). You *do* have to complete Pantheon of Hallownest, which is not an easy feat by any means, but you don't need to do any bindings on any of the Pantheons (though getting 8 bindings on the first 2 is not hard and makes P5 much easier). Hollow Knight is a lot of fun to play and complete already, and cutting out some of the more difficult and monotonous parts of completion makes this Platinum a fun and straightforward experience.
@@FEBRIZIOtv When you get 8 bindings, you get a 3-mask lifeblood cocoon that you can break before the pantheon (the blue door next to Hall of Gods) and at every bench room in the pantheon. It become 4-mask at 12 bindings and 5 at 16.
For me, the easiest cheap PS4 game to platinum is Glass Masquerade: Origins. All you do is put stained glass puzzles together. That's it. That's all you have to do to Plat. There's no time limit to clear, you just go at your own pace while listening to its peaceful music. There's a puzzle for each country.
I've recently started Platinum-ing games on the PS4, and I think I'm only going to do it for ones I like enough to go that extra mile for. So far I've done Bloodborne, Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls III, Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2. Also, Undertale should definitely have been on the list. Not only because it's an amazing game, but because the Platinum journey is easy, peasy, and doesn't even warrant an entire playthrough.
There's a bunch of cheap games from The Voices, an amateur dev of weird little games. They're strange little curiosities for less than a dollarydoo, but one stands out. For 35c I bought Newtonian Inversion, which turned out to be a really neat and short gravity shifting puzzle game. I actually super duper recommend it!
I liked this video. Light and snappy with a fun subject and you sound like these quick bite games were relatively enjoyable for you. I’d love to see more like this
I had platinumed Ghost of Tsushima on PS4. I got the ps5 directors cut version and noticed it didn't have a platinum trophy.. just Gold. When I complete it. I'm going to feel like I beat it 99.999% now
Just completed a game I bought at random on PSN during the recent indie sale: One Night Stand. It's a great little visual novel from England and I genuinely cared about the characters by the end of its very short story. Branching dialog trees, great graphics -- give it a try!
A dirt easy one is Legends of Talia: Arcadia. It's a graphic novel in which you can set the game to automatically fast forward through all the dialogue and cutscenes. Couldn't tell you what the story was about, but the Platinum was unlocked in about 5 minutes whilst I was AFK and also there was some bonus ecchi at the end. Win win? 😅😆
If you put the text to scroll faster in the settings the platinum takes about 30 seconds. Trophies keep popping after the game longer than the game lasted..
Surprised Metagal didn't make this list. Most solid Megaman clone game I've ever played, and getting the platinum only requires you to beat a single boss, but it's still worth playing even after that.
I just got PS5 plat for Cthulhu Saves Christmas. Got it cause was first PS5 Limited Run game, but was cute Retro style RPG, and did the plat fairly naturally in like 4 hours.
Not a bad cost to benefit ratio! I personally recommend Destroy All Humans 2. It's usually on sale and, while it's more of a time sink, it's an easy plat with fun gameplay.
As someone who has no platinums in my PS4 this list was great. I love my games like Ghost of Tsushima and Persona 5 but no desire to do the more difficult stuff.
I wouldn't see somthing similar for the other consoles in the future. Something else that I wouldn't mind seeing is some of the funnest games to complete for different consoles. Yeah, he's gone over them before, but it would be nice to have them all in one place.
I figured you wouldn't put these games on your list, but the Sakura Succubus series is a very easy platinum. It's a graphic novel series in which you just have to get from the beginning of the story to the end for the platinum. Their are choices, but none of them matter since all they do is change some dialogue, but the story plays out the same. You don't even have to read it! You can just mash X through the whole thing and still get the platinum trophy. Their's currently 4 of them, and although they aren't exactly cheap, they are very easy

“Extra mile” and you name those games wtf LOL Jesus
There's a bunch of cheap games from The Voices, an amateur dev of weird little games. They're strange little curiosities for less than a dollarydoo, but one stands out. For 35c I bought Newtonian Inversion, which turned out to be a really neat and short gravity shifting puzzle game. I actually super duper recommend it!
Just started the Mayo game and it is oddly satisfying...
I liked this video. Light and snappy with a fun subject and you sound like these quick bite games were relatively enjoyable for you. I’d love to see more like this
Thank you for the video!
I had platinumed Ghost of Tsushima on PS4. I got the ps5 directors cut version and noticed it didn't have a platinum trophy.. just Gold. When I complete it. I'm going to feel like I beat it 99.999% now
They’re prob gonna patch that in the future
Thank you so much, you made me feel good about me having a lot of easy platinums!
Concrete Genie. Hands down! A super underrated game that also happens to be very easy to Platinum.
A beautiful game in every single way. I’m so happy it was on ps plus or I would’ve never experienced it
@@Dr.Gamboa Same :) Can't wait to see what they do next.
There's a throwaway visual novel game called "Tales of Archadia" I think. It cost about $1.50 and can be platinumed in less than a 1/2 hour.
Legends of Talia: Arcadia******
Deffs keep these type of videos. Keep up the good work Jirard
Some easy platnums that I have are Mr.Massagy and Refunct. They are both pretty good.
Yo Donut 🍩 County is legit super good.
Not a bad cost to benefit ratio!
I personally recommend Destroy All Humans 2. It's usually on sale and, while it's more of a time sink, it's an easy plat with fun gameplay.
My name is mayo was the first plat I got, it made me ashamed. So my 2nd plat was bloodborne
Awesome video. Would love to see more compilations like this. 😎
Every single game from Ratalaika is a fun and easy Platinum Trophy game :D
The only game I've ever platinumed is Jazzpunk and I'd recommend it if you can find it on sale
You made this vid at the PERFECT time I just inherited my first PS4 lol
As someone who has no platinums in my PS4 this list was great. I love my games like Ghost of Tsushima and Persona 5 but no desire to do the more difficult stuff.
Oh wow! I love the idea platinum on a budget
Amazing work keep going you always make my day
I wouldn't see somthing similar for the other consoles in the future. Something else that I wouldn't mind seeing is some of the funnest games to complete for different consoles. Yeah, he's gone over them before, but it would be nice to have them all in one place.
This list is actually awesome ♥
I figured you wouldn't put these games on your list, but the Sakura Succubus series is a very easy platinum. It's a graphic novel series in which you just have to get from the beginning of the story to the end for the platinum. Their are choices, but none of them matter since all they do is change some dialogue, but the story plays out the same. You don't even have to read it! You can just mash X through the whole thing and still get the platinum trophy. Their's currently 4 of them, and although they aren't exactly cheap, they are very easy
Now I need reasonable platinums that leave you with little shame and a bit of satisfaction
