I didn’t notice anything large enough to be uncomfortable pass through the mesh, but my feet were covered in dust. Small pebbles and debris will sometimes come over the top because these are not a high top shoe. This hasn’t been a huge issue for me.
The shooter that I just need I like explaining storm culverts and sewers. It gets pretty wet down there and I see a bunch of scary stuff. So when I need to pull the out of there I can trust the traction and feel on the ground to get me out of there.
What socks should I wear to match these shoes? Especially when wading across the stream. Do you take off your socks or change into another pair of socks? Please inform all.
I’ve done tons of long boarding in both the Prios and the Hanas, including lots of standup slides. They work perfectly. I don’t really do foot braking with them where I slide my foot, but more so stomp it down a few times
I’m not sure they are intended for cycling, but they worked great for me while riding mountain bikes, an ebike, and my gravel bike. Enjoy your cycling tour!!! Sounds awesome!!
Yeah, probably more than a cm. The shoes fit me the same as the Mesa Trail. I just got the Mesa Trail WP a few days ago, so getting to check those out. Much stiffer than the Aqua X, which checks out due to the water proof materials used, but so far so good. I'm glad I have both. I repurchased the Aqua sport X too.
Super excited to hear about these shoes 😁😁
Well made video. Helpful. I plan on getting a pair. Hope they can handle OCR, Tough Mudders, and Spartans, including all the training for it.
Thanks for the kind words! Good luck on your races!
The porous material doesn't let little pieces of dirt and stone into the shoe when hiking?

These truly are "do-it-all" shoes. I use mine for both running on pavement and trail hiking. However, I use the Xero Prios for skateboarding.
How do you like the Prios for skateboarding? I’m very curious!
You should also get rubber griptape

Are the shoes intended for cycling with spiked platform pedals? I'm looking for a great all-round barefoot shoe for my cycling tour through Europe :)

@@activeeveryday6308 did you have enough grip on the pedals?
Yes, the deeper tread on the bottom of the shoes grips well, and has helped even on smooth peddles like the ones on my gravel bike.
Hi! What is the space from your toes to the front of the shoe? 1 cm or more? Same size as the Mesa Trail?

I appreciate your saying so
Specifically How did you fix the bad smell of the shoes with vinegar water solution?
I basically just used vinegar water as a cleaner, and let them air dry
@@activeeveryday6308 so did you soak them in a bucket/bowl of vinegar water or just the insole ?
I had a vinegar/water solution in a spray bottle. Sprayed it into the inside of the shoe, rinsed them thoroughly in the tub, and let air dry.
@@activeeveryday6308 thank you ✌️
Or just don’t wear them when it’s not cold.
how did they fair?
I loved 'em. They finally tore and I replaced them with Tera Flex 2 as I was heading into winter at the time and wanted something less cold.
run them in winter, maybe get some athletic wool socks
