Jesse Williams is a very talented high jumper. Williams has an extended flight phase on his take-off step compared to the penultimate step. There appears to be minimal pelvic movement before entering the take-off mechanism. Most of the later jumpers in the tape have different penultimate step execution and entry into their take-off mechanisms.
