The only question is a matter of ethics, but I think that it should be acceptable for artists dead before a certain time, because it's not being used maliciously. It's just keeping the classics alive, but like more recent stuff would be an ethical dilemma because they haven't been dead long so it feels like not letting them get rest, and they're still fresh in the minds of the current population whereas classics have to be consciously looked back to.

As a teenager, this was my favorite album. It was big in understanding my first big depression. It's so odd, yet incredible, to hear it reconstructed via N64 sound. Hats off to you. This is amazing!
It’s amazing how well this sounds like it would fit Mario 64 pretty well either a totally cool water level soundtrack or a bad ass bowser level. The way The Rooster kinda switches between the two is really cool
The bass is one of the better instruments lol. It sounds reasonably close to a bass guitar, whereas most of the other instruments sound nothing like what they're meant to represent.
What I find especially great about this is that it be somebodies first time listening to this album at all, which might spur them to go back and listen to the actual album
This version of Rooster is what played inside my head every time I lost Mario's regular hat, had to save and quit for dinner or homework or bedtime (etc.) and couldn't remember what stage I lost it on the next time I played 😭😔
I like how doing this just makes Alice In Chains sound exactly like Doom music lol I know that a lot of Dooms original music is directly from Alice In Chains, but still. Hearing the real thing turned into midi music is awesome.
i think you should have used the overdriven sitar/guitar instrument you hear in bowser's fights more, but the arrangements themselves are on-point, Mario's vocals are really shining here!
