Hi men! I'm from Puerto Rico an island where car culture is something crazy! My uncle is the only person in my country who work and build motors for Evo since 90's. We achieve 800hp in a Evo X stock block and run 10.3 in the 1/4. Also we build some other Evo's and each one had 600+ horsepower! I can send you pics from the dyno, videos, photos, etc! Evo''s can make more than 500+ with stock block and stock ecu, come to my island and you are going to see it with your eyes!

+Angelo Nosis I'd agree with that statement with the exception of 'looks', as every EVO before 10 looks far from great. Obviously you'll need to convert and box and diff if you want to drift it too.
+pmodd I guess just different tastes because I think everything up until the 10 is beautiful, the X just looks like garbage nothing special at all

BTW you don't have to do a full rebuild for that power. Stock block can handle reliably 600hp
why is the evo interior such a big deal to people? like honestly ive owned a handful of jdm's and have been in many more. and I have never thought to myself "oh dear god this evo interior, what an outrage!" like ya its not the best but not bad enough for me to huff and puff over it.
I heard that theyre just really noisy inside (road noise) - please dont tell me thats because its a racecar.
Honestly there not bad my uncle let me drive his 450 hp evo 9 but the interior isn’t bad depends on the persons preference
evo ix owner here...the interior is not bad at all i actually love the simplicity
as an evo 8 owner with the even less desireable interior, i love it. i only see recaro's and a momo steering wheel. idk maybe other ppl want the console of a tesla... i love the dash and the reddish orange light as well
Haha people complaining about the 7-9 interior? they must be joking, they're semi modern, simple, and comfortable. I have an evo 6, I guarantee mine is worse

Wow! I had considered purchasing the Mitsubishi Evo 8 back in the day, but the lack of cruise control which I always use on the highway turned me off from it. I still like seeing the car. Every sports car is not for everyone.
