Yes, over designed! Still haven’t seen it in store. I think it’s the blue and red combo that kills it for me ….. I’ll get it and repaint with brown tones
WAY overdesigned. The spikes and shoulder pauldrons should have never happened. Smooth, sleek, and shiny should always be in the redesign, SOMEWHERE in the armor. The silver and gold aren't the problem, just that balance. And there's too much BLUE, and not enough RED. The only part I like is the headsculpt. The only other thing I like, is McFarlane FINALLY did a breast swivel instead of a mid-torso swivel. That mid-swivel needs to be dumped for good, this is the 21st century, not the nineties.

Jewel tone colors could be cool, but that "blue" is way too close to purple.
I can’t wait for him to drop a Todd designed superman. I hope it still has a classic look. Not too many spikes hopefully lol
