Don't get me wrong, She is beautiful, gorgeous and badass looking especially looking very iconic in that classic design but it sucks that she sold out and being a stupid ass Collector Edition so hopefully Todd can do a this Wonder Woman as a regular re release like most regular standard releases from McFarlane Toys, Awesome review Josh.
I'm with you on that. At the very least put them back in stock on his store. I've seen plenty of regular release, Gold Label and Exclusives pop back up multiple times on his site, but a handful of figures have not like the Knightfall Batman. Though I'm willing to wait on the inevitable reuse of that body to make like a Year One Batman or whatever Black and Grey, large Bat Logo variant we get from it. Hopefully this Wonder Woman gets a reissue or some extra stock back in. Though it could be the fact that on his own site, Todd seems to sell some figures in like cases and not just individual figures. Makes me wonder if thats a reason this figure sold out instantly everywhere.
Maybe they'll release a regular edition without the axe and card stand, hope that they don't take out the sword and shield as well

Yeah... I'm having trouble getting into this line... I missed the classic Barry Allen Flash too... if I can't get key classic figures for a reasonable price, there's no reason to even start collecting.
The head sits weird on the neck, the head sculpt is okay, she isnt really that buff or shredded

It's an attractive figure but she's monstrous next to Superman and others. Yes, she should be tall and muscular as an Amazon, but it doesn't look good when grouped together. I bought her for the accessories and switched the head onto the Gal Godot WW figure which is more slender and less imposing. Plus, the uniform is different from a couple other WW figures I own. McFarlane really needs to care more about the scaling.
I’ve yet to hear one positive thing about the card stand from anyone. Surely McFarlane would generate more good will by ditching those in favor of even one additional accessory. I feel it just comes down to them needing to fill out the premium box-size sadly.
You have stated the truth. McFarlane is wasting plastic on this farce of an excuse to charge $30.

Really wish she had High Heel boots instead of shoes, and her shoulder joints have big gaps in certain poses.

I was always going to get this Wonder Woman thinking that at the very least it would be good for kitbashing, but your posing and photography of this figure really shows how good it actually is. The promo photos do not do it justice.

I think her and Firestorm are the only two true Collector Edition figures, both came with a butt load of accessories making them ultimately the only versions of them I’d ever need
He may not have the accessories, but Hawkman's Wings kind of make the price understandable with him, but not by much. Articulated wings would have made it totally fine, but it's a good extra couple chunks of plastic.
I understand the scaling issue to a degree. What I really don't understand are the proportion issues in so many McFarlane figs, especially when the company is owned by a comic book artist who you'd think would pay a lot of attention to such things.
Todd has gone on the record many times that scale means nothing to him. He thinks the biggest, coolest more important character should be larger than everybody.
She looks way better than the promo images.

İ am a little sick of the complaint about parts that are reused and said they are a deception... What is the point of resculpting the legs if perfect mold already existed... My only complaint is about the butterfly pieces who don't do there job to hide the gap at the shoulders ! For the rest, i am quite happy...

Brilliant posing! So dynamic. Good stuff, man. Great review as always. I’m willing to forgive a lot on this figure because I’m just so excited to finally have one in the line. If I could go back and fix anything, I would have her in heels, get rid of the spike on the top of the back of her boot & enlarge the rotator coupling. I am grateful for and do love the multiple hands. Also, this is the only card that I will actually display in the card-holder.

I'm surprised todd hasn't made a first appearance Batman action figure.
A lasso specific hand would have been good, I think a mod could be done and you could drill/dremel a hole small enough to maintain a decent hold on the string lasso.
Todd needs to stop with this Trading Card thing. No one cares, and the few who might like them probably put them in a Card Binder or something. The card holder is just a waste of plastic and just increases the price of the figure overall. Rather get more accessories than a card holder.

I totally agree with your comments about reissues.
I'm tired of mcfarlane pumping out all the glow in the dark, sketch and jokerised variants instead of releasing new figures that people actually want.
I understand completely why they are doing it, but
for me its boring now.
I havent bought a mcfarlane figure in ages.
And waiting for figures that i want to purchase is frustrating.
So much so i've started another line.
I really like this wonder woman. Can’t wait to open mine.
I think mcfarlane should model these after the neca ultimate line. Roughly 30 buck but come with tons of accessories. The paint is also superb on those.

I was not so happy about the higher price and the waste of plastic with stand for card. I’m trying to figure out good idea of another use for that stand. I’ll figure some better idea for it.
The figure looks great and happy to have sword, shield and axe. The whip stinks.
She’s cool and I feel she is worth the 10 extra bucks but the rest of those collectors editions aren’t really my thing, hope they release a skirt version of WW
I agree with all your points specially at the $30 price point ( That's Neca quality territory) but man she looks good.

I will be getting the WW figure, and am happy with the extras. But like you, those card-stands are pointless and useless to me, and I would rather not have to pay for them; McFarlane could sell these in small packs for those who want the display opportunity, but shouldn't be adding them as an extra to these editions - by all means, give us another piece of original sculpting, or a couple more pieces of re-used extras (like the lasso you mentioned) for this price-point, otherwise these stands are just there to bulk out the box, and make it look like you're getting a lot.
Really liking the Sinestro figure as well - I don't really have many Villains, as I only like appropriate ones for the Heroes I have (e.g. Bizarro for Supes; Joker for Bats, and so on), so maybe I'll have to pick up a GL for him to stand with...

Gotta say I agree a lot with what you've said about the quality of the collector's edition figs. They don't quite feel premium enough to have the title, like Wonder Woman is but the rest not so much. Honestly what they did with Superman and Alan Scott, I kind of thought these could be first/early appearances of characters. Like instead of Abyss (even though he was cool) they should have given purple gloved Batman

She has a sort of likeness similar to Gina Carano, or Rose McGowan, I thought Hasbro will roast Mcfarlane with Power Princess, but this one is a solid release, I probably will buy her, if I find her in some local comic store, because I can't reach the preorder.

Hey Josh, I haven't watched your videos in a while, but I watched this one. I like the direction you're going. I like you dinging McFarlane choices when deserved. Things like no forward app crunch and stupid card holders for 10 extra dollars need to be called out loud and clear.
I did buy two. I like the figure I just don’t love it.she is way too tall for my collection so I just had to rearrange my display case for her
The sticker shock on this one def hurt but I liked her enough to buy two of them shits so maybe I’m part of the problem🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

Most of the Collector's Editions have not been worth the $30, but I think this Wonder Woman is. I would've preferred her to come with another lasso that's sculpted, but for the most part I'm happy with her accessories. I'm not crazy about the headsculpt. I think her face could be a lot better. It doesn't scream classic comic Wonder Woman to me. I agree that her biggest problem is her ball joints at the ankles not matching and not having the white stripe of the boots painted. Things like that can be overlooked for $20, but not $30. Those card stands are a joke and really have to go! Give us more accessories or extra heads/hands instead!
