That could’ve been a nasty situation if his leg got stuck between the rock, if he did the stress of having the tide coming in, should probably make you do some unthinkable things
I fell on a rock jetty fishing once. Big wake hit me and I feel into The Rock on my ribs. Broke a few ribs and knocked the wind out of me. Could have used those spikes.
Tried those, but that stuff at the jetties is next level slippery. I just don’t wear shoes out there. As kids, we used to race each other to end and back barefoot @ Port A South Jetty. I still know exactly which rocks have a wobble to them.
Bashed my knee on a jetty rock taking a similiar fall. It swelled up and thought nothing of it. Fished another hour and drove home. I sat on my couch and just began laughing uncontrollably for a few minute and passed out. My wife said my behaviour was weird. Strange experience, from then on I always where the spikes.
Iv made that rookie mistake never again 😂I gained respect by two near drownings ,got taken wayyy out the back rollers in jeans 👖 and half drunk 😢I’m lucky 🍀 to be alive ❤
Never stand on the green but be careful there's darker stuff that's slippery too. Honestly just don't even leave the house it's dangerous out there.
