Sadly, my favourite all time crisps went out of production many years ago, namely Tudor cheese and onion flavour, that had a picture of Henry V111 on the packet.
Parsnips look a little bit like carrots but are cream in colour, thicker & obviously taste different. They aren’t as sweet as carrots. They taste good roasted.

Walkers used to do a Max Strong wasabi flavour, which were fantastic, but for some reason they just didn't sell very well and were discontinued. Such a shame. Keeping up the hot & spicy theme, a brand & flavour I'd recommend if you can find it is Brannigan's roast beef & mustard. One of my favourites!
Cara would not enjoy the wasabi, but we'd try them. It's funny that you're the second person to recommend Brannigan's roast beef & mustard in the past few days. We need to find them.

Seabrookes are made about two miles away from my house but that is their new factory which is basically a large pair of sheds, their old factory which has been demolished was a more vertical building and I think that when they did move the crisps did take on a slightly different taste and texture. Kettle has a very curious history, in that it's, in some ways, as British as it is American. Indeed, for many years it was owned by a British investment firm before sold back to an American company which was then bought by Campbell's.
I love watching American people eat our stuff, always binge these videos! If you try normal Jacob’s mini cheddars or the normal cheddars they’re a lot nicer, different cheese flavour!
Where do you guys order British crisps/ chips here in the U.S.? My family absolutely LOVES British chips! We are in south Texas so no good grocery stores are available here. The thing about British crisps that amazed me was (due to strict governmental regulations limiting food additives) the crisps taste like a potato with a little salt on it and nothing else. The unusual flavors available are fun to try and we found the mackie's bacon flavor particularly interesting.
Another enjoyable video. Personally for me I am not keen on the flaming hot and spicy crisps but that is just me. Out of sll the brands you have tried here I prefer McCoys as they are more full of flavour. Walkers are not as good as they used to be years ago in my opinion. Golden Wonder crisps are much better and have been around much longer bring founded back in the 1960's and competed at the time with Smiths crisps which were introduced in the late 1940's and are still around today. Smiths crisps were also the first company to introduce flavoured crisps with cheese and onion and smoky bacon flavour followed by salt and vinegar as crinkle crisps. They also were much more flavoursome than crisps of today. Seabrooks are an old crisps brand founded in Yorkshire and at the time they came out the flavouring was really good but have declined a bit over the last few years unfortunately. Perhaps it is an age thing though as I am in my mid 70's now and tastes change over the years. Great video again though and thanks for posting this.
But as as English person we eat these with cool Yogurt and mint dips / tomato dips and beer .. really Marks and Spencer’s and Walkers are the crisps most of us eat .
Brown sauce was invented because when the British occupied India they fell in love with tamarind sauces and wanted something similar back in Britain. There is tamarind in brown sauce.
I fully agree with you on the Walkers Max. The chicken hot wings and the jalapeño cheese are good but the peri peri flavour aren't so good, just hot for the sake of being hot without much flavour.
