Good video. One point you should make however, is to turn the Halibut over and repeat. While most people will know to do this, a new fisherman might not.
Numb Shark it tastes in my opinion less fishy than any other fish that I've tasted, It is more flakey and tender if cooked properly. like a fish white meat if that makes sense at all ahahaha, It's a freaky looking fish though.. I've never seen one till this video
Unsafe and backwards never cut toward yourself turn the fish around on the second side. I watched a guy do it like this on the dock and he cut his artary and had to b air lifted out. The skinning holes are usless as well. Always start on the dark side it's the thickest and it's easier when the bottom side is whole it will save you meat in the long run and if you running production like I was. JUST DO NOT CuT TOWARD YOUSELF.
Been cruising over the filleting videos - this is one of the best ones so far! Very informative, thanks
that guy should make more videos like this. i will probably never see a halibut but i loved watching it.

Jim Pook It's a flat fish bottom feeder meaning the other side has little muscle/meat, Like the flounder!
William Gegwetch-Pegahmagabow Just as much meat on the bottom white side of a Halibut.
