The episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit SVU is called Military Justice episode 8 of season 15 and originally aired on NBC on November 13, 2013 and in the episode Ensign Amelia Albers of The United States Coast Guard played by Shiri Appleby was gang raped by men who are of lower ranks than her and an officer who are of higher rank of than her and of course the Coast Guard protects and cover up for the men and leave the women out to dry and it is good that all the men were found guilty and put into prison and it was so sad than Albers lost her career and she was generally discharged by honorably means and I love the episode and it is one of my best and favourite episodes of the series, I love SVU and it is the best.😊😊

Terrence M "Terry" Serpico who plays Lieutenant Commander William Taverts in this episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit SVU played 4 other characters on SVU Ron Johnson, Les Cooper, Deacon Brinn and Chief Tommy McGrath and he has played McGrath both on Law & Order and on Law & Order: Organized Crime OC and he played Jay Brannigan and Frank Miller on L&W and he played Leslie Roche and Earl Carnicki on Law & Order: Criminal Intent CI and so Serpico has 9 different characters across the L&W Universe and I love Serpico, he is a very good actor and he does excellent work in everything he is in.

I had to re-watch this episode from beginning to end bc I do not remember it. I could not believe how the Coast Guard was handling this entire case. The Coast Guard!! A branch of government that is the lowest rung on the totem pole. The court proceedings were hard to watch bc it forced you to listen to what these men did to her AND look at their faces as if they did nothing wrong. I am not a fan of military, Catholic, Russian mob, or mental health cases. This one was well done!

Her father also backed her up 1000% once he found out. She was so scared of what he would think (being a man in the military), but the second he found out ANYONE put their hands on his little girl, he went full-steam barreling for the men and their ranks. The very end of the episode, he hugged her and treated her like any loving father should and reminded her she’s his daughter first, service member second.
