I thought it was a poorly executed scene overall. Her walking around, touching everything, having the suspect there- even fictionally, it lacked logic.
They should've stopped defending and being kind to her the moment she admitted to making the false allegation.
An innocent kid's life could have been ruined due to her lies.

Yes. The police will protect you until you testify then you’re on your own. If the criminal gets off on a technicality you are SOL. Try to never be a victim and definitely NEVER be a witness.

You really shouldn’t, but I’ve known many women whom have a single glass of red wine while pregnant. It used to be recommended for heart health until doctors realized Fetal Alcohol Syndrome could be caused by just one glass of wine.
