I loved the livestreams this weekend. Another format that would be interesting is if you dive deeper on how to improve & execute on a single idea from a subscriber. Down to the nitty gritty tactical stuff. How would you Gregify their business if you were the one building it?
Awesome. High level insights from someone with a successful "simple startup" track record. I especially loved the part about distilling dense info into digestible content.
Want to start it together? I'm a full stack dev (AI/ML/Web) I created ResearchGPT last year and kept it open source on Github, but left it in the middle, I've been thinking about this since then but never continued worked working on it
Deepdyve is a PAID site that has papers and articles from all the above. I had a similar idea but specifically for Food as Medicine which is a growing field of study. I feel validated again.
I live in Spain now and there's an infinite amount of premium jamón and high quality preserved meats here that could be marketed as carnivore snax too...
Sweatro seems to take an existing behavior: runners already pay to participate in marathons, 5ks, other races, etc - and gamifies it by making the winnings earnable. Would need a deeper dive into the mechanics vs a splash page analysis to see how it plays out.
Strava already has similar challenges… free to enter with digital badges as rewards. Sponsored challenges often have discounts as rewards and entrants may also win random prizes. No cash rewards though.
Preciate it Greg! I’m head chef at carne shabu and def appreciate the feedback. I want to bring in more people (men and women) that are intimidated by going to the beef jerky aisle. So ideally more women but I understand I’m a dude it’s difficult when I’m the face lol
Hey, recently discovered your channel and it’s superb. Thanks. Quick question, you didn’t like Nature’s website and said it was early 2000’s style. Which current site for news do you think is more 2024?? Thanks
I have a thought of building a platform that tracks and notifies users when their comments on live videos (Instagram, UA-cam, Facebook) are addressed by the host, enhancing user engagement and interaction during live streams, i faced this problem when i try to comment under your live video, it takes too long for the host to reach out to the recent comments when they are focused on first comments , What you think ??
Examine kind of does "dumbing down" of science for supplements. I always found it to be really good source but I think google penalized them or something. They used to rank really well but I don't think they do anymore. They didn't do supplement affiliate offers though, they sell some kind of supplement guides.
I disagree on your take on Yashs whatplug idea, Greg. I believe there exist an opportunity to have an affiliate business going on here, for people to buy these plugs. He should aim at making it the number one site for looking up this kind of information then either set up his own branded dropship shop for a plethora of plugs and other travel gear. In addition it can be ads for other existing and bigger brand stores within the same niche.
Greg - Love all your community content - been following it closely lately. What's the #1 growth channel you'd recommend for a private blockchain investment club for Boomers/Gen X? P.S. Great idea to post up in the Canadian mountains.
@@GregIsenberg Interesting. So, joining relevant FB groups and adding value to the convo - being helpful, hoping they eventually look at my optimized profile and I’m able to siphon some traffic to my Skool group or landing page?
Didn't really get the criticism of the plugs and adaptors website, if you're getting 50k unique visitors a month, there's got to be ways to monetize it. Why can't you affiliate sell the plugs and adaptors? Adsense for that many visitors can add up too. Could post news about how they're updating plug standards etc (USB 3.0 is confusing to people) on twitter etc and monetize that way too. I do think the scientific one has more potential though.
Greg when you say you’d invest a few grand to work out the best ways to translate the articles to plain English - what would you invest in? Do you mean buying subscriptions to AI tools or ?
I built a demo low key 🔑😂 was seeing if I could build a singing voice conversion app from research papers that I found and saw this video this morning. So far it’s like a $0.10 run using the api to convert a like 63 grade reading level paper down to a 3rd grade level. Would be down to jam or continue to build these idea in mvp sprints if some people are down. Comment send pics. 😂
*Feedback* You have fantastic content, but I urge you to enhance your videos quality. 720p is so outdated, and the minimum should be 1080p, especially for text presentations and screen recordings. It's not legible, making it hard to follow what's being shown on the screen. It's disappointing and painful for me to have to stop watching your videos for this reason, as it doesn't do justice to your efforts. Your audio quality is excellent, though. Please consider investing in better video image quality. Wishing you more success, cheers! :)
I started a newsletter like that, but focused on academic papers related to marketing / ecommerce and DTC. It's in my bio if someone want's to check it out.
only so much you can do. i've built a holding company that spins out lots of companies, but we can't do everything. hope it's helpful that we share some of these.
@@GregIsenberg fair enough. It’s more in the execution of it & runway to success that I think many people get stuck. The idea phase can be solved but then I think it’d be helpful to answer the runway / tim to generate revenue, what point you start hitting critical mass, and scaling your execution/ operation. Many people still have a standard job and are low on time money or both. This seems to be where they get stuck.
@@pierrebotha2823 I haven’t made an excuse and also have my own business. I simply asked what I was wondering. I hope this works out well for you honestly.
I've been binging a bunch of your content today and really enjoying it. Thanks for putting the effort in.

There are a plethora of GPTs that summarize studies. I believe one is called 'Scholar GPT.' Maybe you can piggyback on that.

The plug idea is an incredible free tool, seo play for a larger directory site or something travel related.
totally.
