I actually think using a Cuckoo Knight against Renalla was a great idea. Like the Carian Knights, the Knights of the Cuckoo were once loyal to the Carian royals, as Renalla was head of Raya Lucaria Academy, so when the Academy rebelled in the wake of the Shattering and employed the Cuckoo Knights as their standing army, they declared the Carian royals to be their sworn enemy. So who better to bring down their Queen?...
Instead of betraying Radahn, I believe that Redmane Knight was just trying to attend the Starscourge Festival, and send his proud general a warrior's death, instead of seeing him slowly rotting away from inside out.

I love it! Definitely lots of potential! I loved the concept when doing it and actually thought of others throughout it. But I didn't want to overload the video!
Similarly to Renalla, I have done a Cleanrot Knight against her before. And I wanted to include all those specific Knights that wonder the game. I would have felt bad leaving one out lol.
One small nitpick about the Crucible Knight's intro. A Crucible Knight would have little, if any, reason to care about the Golden Order itself as they are loyal to the Primordial Crucible not the Erdtree which usurped it. Their only links to the Golden Order being Godfrey himself. When Godfrey and the Tarnished were banished their order splintered and those who survived spread throughout the Lands Between. Their armor even tells us the Golden Order despised them due to their connection to the Crucible and it's chaotic energies. Out of the sixteen known Crucible Knights in the game only two chose to remain in Leyndell after the banishment of their Lord and his warriors. The two of them more likely feeling loyalty to the son of their Lord Godfrey, Morgott, than to the Erdtree itself.
@@SaxSlaveGael Thank you, I quite like the Souls games and Elden Ring especially for their lore. Thought of this idea for how the buildup for Godfrey vs Crucible Knight would go: Some time after Lord Godfrey’s departure from the lands between, a Crucible Tree Knight by the name of Triassia (Named from ‘Triassic’) decided to leave the lands between in search of her lord and his Tarnished Warriors to fight by his side once more. Throughout her journey, she became stronger as she managed to utilize more of the Aspects of the Crucible that the Axe Knights used from fighting countless foes outside of the Lands Between, though she would eventually lose her grace upon proceeding with her campaign. Though she too met her end by a group of powerful enemies before she could find the whereabouts of the First Elden Lord at that time. As luck may have it, she was revived by grace and returned to the lands between upon remembering Queen Marika’s words towards her lord before he left. Upon her return to Leyndell, which was already buried under the ash, she fought Gideon, in which the battle was won, and upon reaching the foot of the Erdtree, she finally found him. Her lord had returned, but despite her choice to serve Lord Godfrey once again after he brandished the Elden Ring, Lord Godfrey decided to give his last knight a final test through a battle to the death. Triassia understood her lord’s stance and with her being significantly stronger than before, she was ready to grant her lord his final request. (Kinda was thinking of this since a concept of a ‘Tarnished’ Crucible Knight can be interesting to think about and also considering that the Crucible Knight in the video is a Tarnished. Also one part of the tale got partially inspired by the tale of Ornstein & Nameless King)
Great Work, but I do feel like you missed out on an opportunity for Fire Giant, that being Adan, Thief of Fire, another option could’ve been Chief Guardian Arghanthy. Also, I’m so happy you got all the death root for the Maliketh fight.

The gelmir knight is just doing his duty. Stopping the monster that used to be his master. Oh btw. I have a skull kid build you could try against malenia if you want
@SaxSlaveGael hell yeah! Well you're gonna need for the get up: preceptors big hat, warrior gauntlets, bandit garb, and spellblade boots Staff has to be carian royal scepter You can also use frenzy flame seal and any of the frenzy incantations For the weapon I'd recommend darkmoon greatsword or deaths poker Spells: rannis dark moon, adula moonblade, rocksling/meteor/meteor of astel. A lot of these are based on lore or appearances in other games like hyrule warriors or cadence of hyrule. Oh you can use any horns or puppets you want. Oh yeah and gotta have the flame of frenzy in you for that eye effect and as a majora stand in. I was doing a playthrough of it but had to take a break.
How about the opposite approach next time? Each boss faces an enemy from the faction which most strongly opposes them, for ex Malenia vs either lord of blood faction or radahn/redmane faction or radagon vs 'those who live in death', morgott vs an omen killer really nice video ❤
It's funny you mention this, as I started thinking about this during these fights. Like who would want to get the most vengeance on each boss? I'll be honest, some are certainly tricky!
Thanks! It was fun to make and do. It's called Spectical Lance. It's also been buffed since this video. Has massive range. Damage isn't great but it does decent poise damage. The Arrows Reach Talisman can increase the distance even further. 👍
Actually I think the motivation for the haligtree knight being loyal to miquella is more fitting cause he isn't loyal to malenia yet he has to guard her and not miquella
Thank you! It's a cloaned version of the opening and closing narrator in Elden Ring. The problem with cloaning Souls voices is the line pacing delivery cannot be replicated well which can cause an accent change.
@@SaxSlaveGael ohhhh sick! Yeah I think I noticed the accent thing when I heard an AI ranni with an American accent, it was extremely cursed. And yeah I've seen the ranni ones too. It's the only flaw with AI voices atm is its consistency. However, I have recently been playing around with the Iconic Elder Scrolls Oblivion Guard voice, and that is hands down the most consistent and emotive AI voice I have ever used! I couldn't have spent these 40+ minutes better. I'll leave you a more detailed comment below. What I loved: - The format, generally speaking; - The voice, which I think fits perfectly; - Your creativity and cleanness in fighting the bosses. It's the first time I see someone actually dodging the whole Radahn's combo, it makes me feel less alone; - The on screen tips, some were very funny. What I personally would have done differently, but still enjoyed: - I would have spent more time giving a lore background to the character. Betrayal is an easy but powerful narrative concept; - I would have avoided referencing the builds and in-game elements during the voice-overs to keep the illusion of an actual story; - I would have done it in NG+7 or at least higher than NG+. I think it's a pity some bosses don't get the chance to showcase some of their moves and final phases, but I'm a bit of a maniac in this regard lol. Overall, as I already said, I had a great time. Congratulations. P.S. There's a typo in the Radagon/Elden Beast chapter's name (Leyndell Knigjt)
I really do appreciate the detailed comment and the feedback. Its interesting you mention the IG elements in narration. I noticed this too and was thought, are you telling a story or talking about builds. So I'll keep this on board when I attempt another video like this. Totally get ya NG+7 comment. Another thing I could do is reduce the weapon level like ONGBAL does. But I'll be honest, there are some bosses I could never no hit with a lower weapon level! But I totally get where you're coming from! I hate killing Radahn so fast, but no hitting his phase 2 is crazy hard! Lol. But seriously, thank you for the response and feedback!

The gelmir knight is just doing his duty. Stopping the monster that used to be his master. Oh btw. I have a skull kid build you could try against malenia if you want
Yeah man chuck it down and I will have a look into it!
@SaxSlaveGael hell yeah!
Well you're gonna need for the get up: preceptors big hat, warrior gauntlets, bandit garb, and spellblade boots
Staff has to be carian royal scepter
You can also use frenzy flame seal and any of the frenzy incantations
For the weapon I'd recommend darkmoon greatsword or deaths poker
Spells: rannis dark moon, adula moonblade, rocksling/meteor/meteor of astel.
Your voice would fit perfectly for a NPC similar to Blaidd
My favorite knight is redmane knight
Masterclass 🔥🔥🔥
For some reason I thought I was hearing the Clone that read his Journal in the 2005 Battlefront 2 campaign -.-
How about the opposite approach next time?
Each boss faces an enemy from the faction which most strongly opposes them, for ex Malenia vs either lord of blood faction or radahn/redmane faction or radagon vs 'those who live in death', morgott vs an omen killer
really nice video ❤
It's funny you mention this, as I started thinking about this during these fights. Like who would want to get the most vengeance on each boss? I'll be honest, some are certainly tricky!
I love me some lore backed builds.
Really cool video and I learned some cool stuff
Btw what ash of war was that for the Mosuluem knight?
Thanks! It was fun to make and do. It's called Spectical Lance. It's also been buffed since this video. Has massive range. Damage isn't great but it does decent poise damage. The Arrows Reach Talisman can increase the distance even further. 👍
@@SaxSlaveGael sweet I might give it a try, looks pretty cool
Actually I think the motivation for the haligtree knight being loyal to miquella is more fitting cause he isn't loyal to malenia yet he has to guard her and not miquella
I really liked the voice you chose! I'm vvv curious what it was based off of, like did you ask for a specific character?
Do you think you could make one with enia from the round table? I'm sure it would mess up her accent too but I'm very curious, and she definitely has a lot of voice lines to go off of.
Also I love how responsive you are! I don't get to interact w content creators often but it's appreciated
@@Shmethan Sorry for the wall of text. I went a bit overboard 🤣. But my pleasure man! I owe it to everyone for the continued growth of my channel. And cause I am still a pretty small channel, comments are still manageable while doing day to day stuff.
Yeah I'll definitely give it a go for a future video and see how it works. And yeah I've seen the ranni ones too. It's the only flaw with AI voices atm is its consistency.
However, I have recently been playing around with the Iconic Elder Scrolls Oblivion Guard voice, and that is hands down the most consistent and emotive AI voice I have ever used! And I literally just uploaded the "stop right there criminal scum line"
I suspect the AI has developed the voice so well due to frequency of the file being uploaded.
It's all so damn fascinating!
@@SaxSlaveGael I feel that! Like I get how terrifying the mischief this technology allows is gonna be as far as fraud and stuff, but I still can't get over how cool it is hehe. Speaking of the Skyrim guard, I saw a vid a couple weeks ago about a Skyrim mod someone made that gave all the guards custom voice lines, but in their actual voices using AI and it was insane how well it fit in
I think the black blade kindred or vulgar militia would’ve been better for maliketh. Great video btw!
Yeah I have had this mention a couple times now and agree. Am a bit guttered I didn't even think of the Vulgar Malitia! But, oh well, I enjoy learning more from everyones comments in these videos!
This narration is quite epic. haha
I am just so glad it's being well received! I think I am going to stick with it going forward! So thank you!
I couldn't have spent these 40+ minutes better. I'll leave you a more detailed comment below.
What I loved:
- The format, generally speaking;
- The voice, which I think fits perfectly;
- Your creativity and cleanness in fighting the bosses. It's the first time I see someone actually dodging the whole Radahn's combo, it makes me feel less alone;
- The on screen tips, some were very funny.
What I personally would have done differently, but still enjoyed:
- I would have spent more time giving a lore background to the character. Betrayal is an easy but powerful narrative concept;
- I would have avoided referencing the builds and in-game elements during the voice-overs to keep the illusion of an actual story;
- I would have done it in NG+7 or at least higher than NG+.
@@SaxSlaveGael I'm 100% sure you can manage, you're quite skiled. Anyway, thanks again for the great content!
Gael collecting boss Souls like Thanos collecting Infinity Stones.
I think thats the first time i saw a poise breake on fortissax..
Havent even know that its possible LOL
It's ridiculously hard to poise break the Lichdragon since FoRM got nerfed. This is probably now one of the best AoW's to do it. The crit damage is absolutely insane!
Fire prelate fast rolling 😂
I was getting very tired of this fight which is why I resorted to the quick roll lol
I recognize that voice, but I forget who it actually is
It's a toned down version of the In Game Narrator.
Sax Gael Fact: He makes awesome content
☺️
*everyone having followers or loyal soldiers*
Meanwhile astel: *sad cosmic horror creature noises*
Lol. He was a hard one to figure out!
@@SaxSlaveGael yeah, for maliketh it could have been a beastman from farum azula
Like it could have been the blaidd head and the blooudhound knight armor with that weird ass curves sword that they use, still, love your videos sax! I love to trie your builds
I'd call the Red Mane Knight defeating Radahn a mercy killing not a betrayal.
Yeah I tend to agree too. And thanks for your other comment. I love lore friendly builds and is kind of the main theme I am perusing with the channel 🙂
i've fought Malenia as all the knights and utilized all of their weapons to a T, but i think you may have done it better than me
id say one of the gargoyles would of worked for Maliketh, specifically the black blade Kendred's, but with no armor set id say D is a very good choice all things considered. then again, there was also the vulgar militia men who used destined death on a couple attacks, so too bad you could shrink your character model and run at him as a angry midget lol
Yeah I never even considered the Vulgar Malitia. They probably would have worked! But I am still happy with the choice of D.
@@SaxSlaveGael D was a great choice, especially with you getting all the death root before hand. Maliketh sounds so sad to see D.
@@fib900 Aye! I love when people see the little attention to detail I add intentionally! Thanks so much for noticing! That's why I felt D was just perfect.
Cool idea
BTW, I love this video! Each fight felt refreshing and fun, since they consists of different fighting style. Wish to see more contents like this! And keep up the good work!
Thanks so much! I'll defenity do these 1 build per boss videos from time to time. They're just take longer to produce. But hearing the support means so much.
How the hell did you break fortissax poise?! Isn’t it supposed to nullify?
Nah, it's just ridiculously high and restores fast. But I had enough pressure on him he didn't stand a chance.
radagon fight has the best moves, they are all sync with the boss
Thanks so much! Radagon is such an incredible boss!
Yo knight build with multiple enchant? Thats cool.
I wonder if you could have used a Vulgar Militia set up for Maliketh? Since they're gifted destined death on there weapons in his area.
Yeah hindsight is great! I should have done this.
@@SaxSlaveGael there's always a future vid! Loved this one's premise btw!
What app do you edit your videos on?
I edit my videos using the Mobile App of PowerDirector. I don't own a PC, so mobile is my only option. It's actually very straightforward, but is limited in functionality.
Oh and also
I feel like a black flame monk would have fit better against the fire giant, as in canon they *are* traitors to the fell god.
Today I learned!
@@SaxSlaveGael happy to be of service m'friend
the only vídeo on the internet were someone did a stance break on Lich dragon Fortisax
Haha theres not many, but it can be consistently done with Spectral Lance!
@@SaxSlaveGael I wanted to try it but spectral lance does 0 damage when you play with it from the beginning of the game.
@@ThiagoCRocha-fh6lg It does lower damage due to being a long ranged high Poise damage skill.
Weren't the Vulgar Militia learning their beastial spells from the Beast Clergyman? Using D def works, though
Yeah in hindsight, that would have been a great option!!!
@@SaxSlaveGael D was learning them from him, too. It was a fun video.
@@cruddddddddddddddd really appreciate it!
Why there aren't havel knight in elden ring 😢😢
Wish we had a heavy set like Havel's. The Bull Goat set ugly AF...

😔
😆🤣
Is it just me or is the Fire Prelate an off brand Smough 🤔glorious rounded armour, ridiculous face wear and a giant hammer with a ground slam ability
I think everyone see's it 😅
Yakety Sax Fact: Malenia has never known defeat, on this save file.
Did you know, PlaciduSax used to have more heads?
There are so many cool weapons that do Holy damage, I hope the DLC allows them to shine.
Is that AI voice in the beginning the narrator's voice? Pretty cool if so
🤫
33:34 Wooo Siluria is a strong and independent woman, that's hilarious :D
does the arrow reach talisman work with espectral spear?
Yes! Makes the range ever better!
You could have used Vulgar Militiamen against Maliketh. It could be argued that they are followers of Maliketh.
Yeah. Few others have said the same. That was short sighted on my part.
HOW TF DID YOU STANCE BREAK FORTISAX ANCIENT DRAGONS STANCE HELATH REGENS LIKE INSTANTLY😭😭😭
I know my stuff when it comes to beating that Ahole lol. It's all about heavy poise attacks to the face. Can do it consistently with that AoW, Bows and some spells.
@@SaxSlaveGael Will have to give it a try today, thanks for the advie
You should've used Soldier of God, Rick to betray Godrick
Lol. I did consider that. Have the rational of this video was to generalltly have the highest ranking position betray their lords. And I wanted to include every faction knight!
how about mogwed Miquela build or idk
I know what you're saying. I've made one before, which I haven't shown before.
❤
Day 437 of requesting fire prelate
You're in luck. It'll be next. Got it all done last night just got to edit the video.
@@SaxSlaveGael niceeee
Actually the little enemies around gurranqs temple could been a better
Yeah, someone else mentioned this! Never even crossed my mind! Could certainly have used them as their lore is so unknown! Really appreciate the feedback!
Nice..
Night's cavalry for morgott?
Oh leyndell knight for radabeast
The Night's Cavalry, who now wander the dim roads at night, were once led by the Fell Omen and were deliverers of death for great warriors, knights, and champions.
He explains why in the video, read the gear description in game
19:07 😂😂😂
Lol. I love doing these absolutely useless pop ups! Glad you liked it.
Bro sounds like a 5 star unplayed actor
Haters will say that's an AI voice
Dem Haters be correct 🤣
