Thanks man. Great editing once again. Remember this one well. Scintillating game. The posse all performed brilliantly. Eric Martin is one of the most underrated receivers ever. Nice to see one of my all time favorite Redskins, Don Warren, make a key grab. That guy was the best blocking TE of his era. He was also the blood, guts and sinew of those great offenses. There should be a hall of fame for the best utility players of their time because he was at the very top of that list. No Don Warren no 3 Super Bowls.
Notice the Baseball In D.C. sign on the visiting sideline it's amazing we had to wait till 2005 to get baseball back in the Nation Capital in which the Nats played there home games at RFK for 3 years
We gained a rather hum drum baseball team (what is a national by the way?) only to lose the greatest football team that ever was (the Redskins). Color me dissatisfied.
Right before the missed kick at the end, Dexter Manley spit on one of the Saints, causing a retaliation. Of course, the retaliation was what the refs saw, called it and knocked the Saints back 15 yards. The missed FG, I believe, was 58 yards -- a little harder to make than 43. Keep the retro games going!
Damm I didn't know he passed. I will always remember him as a humble quiet warrior who clogged the middle of the field and always had scratches on his helmet
Fed Ex is a disgrace. Terrible parking, lousy shuttle system, everything overpriced, shitty atmosphere (no intimacy), lousy food, etc. It doesn’t feel like a home stadium. RFK had such a rich sense of camaraderie. It bled out of the walls there. One of a kind.
@@MaximusWolfe idk, kinda look like his whole body went out lol. Plays like that is why alot of people swore he was getting high with Wilburn and Manley. Them's my dudes tho 86-87 was my favorite Skins teams, knuckleheads and all...
Love these retro skin games. Those were the days no doubt!
damn this stadium was a vibe
Those were the best Saints uniforms EVER!
Fire !
Seems like it became a faster game in the 80s. This was an intense matchup. Saints were for real. Great unis the Saints have here.
John Madden and pat summer all was great

Heaven knows how much the Commanders fans enjoy watching these games from their glory days before Daniel Snyder bought and screw up the team.
The Saints started 7 - 1. And still missed the playoffs.
Damn !

John Madden at 14:15 😊
Gary Clark should be pro football Hall of Fame and redskins ring of honor
RIP Dave Butz. Broke the record for most games as a Redskin that day.

Great channel, thanks for the videos of the glory days
My pleasure! Thanks for the kind commet. Many more games to come.
Last home win of the yr
Miss ole RFK. The Skins had a true homefield advantage there as opposed to Fedex Field.

Do you have Washington vs NY Giants from October 1991 (same night as game 7 of the World Series)?
Maybe…. 😁
0:09 what the hell was Timmy Smith doing??? He did a Haynesworth. .
Looked like a slip.
