Mind you, I barely managed to finish the first 35 focus to take Åland when the Spanish civil war ended so getting war support that way is kinda risky. The simple reason for taking Finland first and early is that I want a United Scandinavia to be able to build a strong defense and tire Russia out against it as an experiment during the Finish Winter War. I noticed that as long as Denmark and Norway gets puppeted the conquest (Focus) of operation Weserubung vanishes. Still not at the junction to see if I will manage to get puppeting Denmark in time....its literary on the on the last second to the last minute if I can manage it thou. ;) Right now Im using a military attaché to China to get the last 1% war support so I can take Norway and Denmark so everything with going this route is on the edge of having enough time and enough war support.

Love playing sweden because of the tree and how easy you can get your "rightful land" (joke). And im also swedish so that makes my love for that focus tree and playing it even more.
Paradox released a patch that makes you able to take EITHER Kalmar union OR Nordic unity, don't know if it affects swedish empire and eternal Nordic empire though.

All that despite fulfilling all the requirements (positive relations, a bigger army, war support less than 40% and them not being in a faction). Could you please elaborate further on that issue? Mainly I was surprised when Denmark refused the Bornholm focus, despite being at 100 relations, having 2 times their army.
I tried to do the Same but i fucked up the timing with the british war Goal. Had to wait much longer and then i did Land troops but was unable to take the harbour (the british where, in fact, home) and half my Army got deleted. I will do it again tomorrow Hopeful i win then. I am a new Player (only 150 hours)

Finnland somehow joined the Axis and Germany went to war with the Sowjetunion before even capitulating france😅 Italy got defeated in 1939 and i joined the allies first to take the northern German provinces. Later then ww3 against the Sowjets for Leningrad and the baltics etc. It worked but it took sooo long

I tried every template, with anti tank, tank destroyer, 30/4 art/2aa ... I have also tried taking arabia and iraq giving a distraction, and suez and gibriltar in pace conference. Then i tried to join soviet and help them ,but nothing work :-( HELP!
You don’t need to rush integration of Nordic subjects, because you can just join anti soviet pact. As a result Germany will not attack Denmark and Norway for a few years and will not attack you if you capture these countries
