Hello there!
When I first saw the Vongon Ultrasheer I was instantly hooked by his beautiful design, but when I finally tried one I was blown away by the amazing sound it creates.
At his core is a Reverb modeled after the Lexicon 224 from the '70, but there is a twist : a vibrato section, that can be placed after or before the reverb. This concoction allows you to create very beautiful tones, especially when the vibrato uses the random wave shape, which creates a gorgeous warbliness.
To demo the Ultrasheer I decided to use the Roland Ju-06a, which complements it really well. The Oxi One is doing the sequences.

the vongon filter is beautiful also - such a great company - beautiful build, design and concepts. I hope they keep making new products as I have their current offering covered with other boxes. Bit late to this - but this sounds soo good. Have been looking for an effects pedal (multi) for a while, and during research finding I like the idea of a pedal just doing or or two features simply but well. This is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Jesus, you’re killing me. Three devices that I’d love to have right now. I didn’t realise how beautiful the Roland is! The OXI is kind of a must. It has been sitting at the top of my wish list for the last couple of months. And the Vongon… What can I say. They look beautiful, they feel and handle beautifully and they sound fantastic. I just got the Polyphrase ❤ The import tax is a killer though. I wish they could set up a EU office like Chasebliss have. Anyway, great Video as always. You’re the creator of gear temptation for sure 😅🙌
Dont sleep on the Hapax over the Oxi. It's amazing.
I got one of these, it is great. But I wish they had put a mix knob on the vibrato as well. It would have made it a chorus of sorts. Try hooking it up as a send effect on a mixer.
I did it on my model1 mixer, super fun!
In this setup vibrato could also be done (pre reverb) on the ju-06a;with the lfo and lfo delay time.

both amazing, cxm more versatile if you need also basic reverb sounds. but you can't beat the ultra sheer moodiness

If I need reverb in a classic sense this. If I have already some other reverb then Nightsky.
@@OoraMusic gotcha. Ended up selling my night sky. I would always find a good sound and somehow ruin it. Took too much effort to get a good sound (for me) My next question is do you have the CXM 1978 and how does it compare to the ultra sheer.l in your opinion. Thinking about either getting the CXM1978 or the ultrasheer. Ultrasheer really has am amazing reverb sound And the vibrato is nice in a subtle way. But the cxm is Twice the price tho. I like the Lofi /standard /hifi on the cxm. And all 3 algorithms are amazing.

Sounds nice but a bit of a one trick pony. This pitch warble fake nostalgia sound is pretty played out at this point.
nice if you have nothing yet, but by now if you follow all these channels you often already have many of these With a cxm from chase bliss and a generation loss or shallow water, there are no reasons to look at this pedal.

@@tendingtropic7778 I hear you, and I have had all these pedals mentioned and quite a few others in the vibrato lofi realm. But this is the only one I miss and I am reconsidering buying. And it is for the reverb more than the vibrato. I really liked it on a stereo send.
