I also did a change in my environment that was very drastic. After having followed my childhood dream of becoming a teacher, but being stuck in a situation where I constantly felt underappreciated at university, I switched my job completely. I started an education as a physiotherapist and it has been the best decision of my life. You can see it in my smiling face everyday😁
I tried out for a pro team this weekend and I didn't make it. I thought to myself "maybe this is a good thing" & now you upload this. The world is a mysterious place
It really feels like Sam listens to what we say in the comments and then delivers them. Having faced rejection myself will implement them in my life. Thank you Sam
i feel like spite can fuel your progress which could come from rejection, i dont really see people talk about this but in the game there is always someone with a HUGE ego & you just get this desire to hurt their ego by training more effective, improving your game & getting better while seeing their reactions . but i would like to know your opinion about spite in sports
while it may not be the most sustainable source of motivation, I think channeling spite into focused improvement can be a driving force for getting the best out of yourself on certain occasions 👍
Ah rejection something we all fear but also something that can bring us to unimaginable heights. A lot of people when experiencing rejection or any kind of failure believe it's the end, that there is nothing left for them, only a small amount of people will see rejection as fuel and an opportunity to go even harder which is why those people go on and achieve great things. You for example you would not be here if you gave up after seeing a few videos flop when you were starting out, its only because you kept head up and continued working. Great video 👍💪.
Sam thank you very much for your content. I greatly appreciate you thoroughly analyzing "dark" emotions. I'm yet to find a more complete sports psychologist than you. Just an idea/question for another video that stems from the David Goggins concepts of "Cookie jar" and "Taking souls". What is a good ratio/balance of being locked fueling you with bad memories/anger vs how much to remind ourselves how much we've conquered. I love your channel Sam, thank you for your content. It is very inspirational and applicable in the business world.
For like a month ago, i transferred to a better football Club. They saw my potentail better, and that was my main reason for my move. When i first joined the team, i played the best football i have done in many months. The coach really liked what he saw, and gave me a chance at the first team, and with the boys 19(3 years older then me). I felt like i was on the top of the world, and my career really started to get somewhere. After a couple of weeks with many good sessions and opportunities, i now have have had some bad sessions and games. I am afraid to lose the position i have now and i dont know how to Get back on the horse? What do you think i should do to Get back to the form i had?
Accept it's completely normal to experience fluctuations in performance, especially after a moving to a new club at a higher level. To regain your form, focus on consistent practice and analyse your recent performances to identify areas for improvement.

Failure is the fuel of champions💪
This is such a needed video as I've struggled being rejected or worse straight up ignored by football clubs/coaches, jobs, girls, etc. 😀
Hope you can put it into practice moving forward bro 👊
Failure is just the prerequisite for success.
