This video is masterpeice, the tip i use the most is the first one, for me when ever i want to get good at a move or a shot in football i always play a match that can be with friends,family, or teammates. I do this so i get that "in game feeling" and see how it would work and how i can execute it during a real game. Great video love this topic .

@@SamMartinPeakPerformanceok so I play football/soccer and I think the example I’m about to give is not helpful for all kinds of sports but I guess for team sports like basketball volley or football is a great way to not overthink.
What really helps me not overthink is “celebrating the little things” and when I mean celebrate I mean I get proud of myself let me give an example: The game just started and I’m overthinking like crazy once I get the ball I’ll make a safe pass to a teammate or I’ll make something not to complicated with will help me get that in match confidence which a lot of athletes lack.
So I do this repeatedly until I’m fully confident in my ability to do some more advanced skills or riskier shots etc…
I know it sounds dumb but to whoever is reading this try doing that next time u have a game. “Celebrate small wins”

Sam I have had 2 really good games were I have performed up to a man of the match preformance, how do I keep it up as I have been doing a routine that makes me into a flow state, but what if I forget to do it? How do I preform great every week?
Keep it up 👍 set a reminder/alarm for when you need to carry out the routine to ensure you don’t forget it. No need to fix something that isn’t broke!
