    Please, please, please 🙏 can you find out what shade + brand of dye/toner your hairdresser used for this colour, it's so beautiful! 😍

  • @TSD0416
    @TSD0416 4 роки тому +15

    Dear Chloe, you look so beautiful and your hair is to die for. I think the first product you used is the reason why the curl doesn’t stay in the bottom sections of your hair. Whenever you use a product that makes your hair silky, that product will prevent your hair from curling and stay curled. It’s just the way it works. I have naturally thick curly hair and I straighten my hair all the time. I use lots of products that make my hair silky so smoothing and straightening it would be much easier. However, whenever I want to curl my hair I don’t use any products not even conditioner. I just use shampoo and then dry and curl my hair. The curls will last until I wash my hair again. One last tip, don’t use any oil products when you curl your hair. The oil will open up the curls and won’t allow them to last long. Hope that helps. 😊😘❤️

    1 the hair may be just too wet to be curling it.

    I use the ouai memory mist on my wet hair before styling (no oils). It holds and can be used as a heat protectant. I make sure that the scalp is completely dry before I start (so important to have the curl stay). I also do the bottom pieces last and that helps them from falling too fast.

    I think the dream coat, which I have myself and love makes your hair too silky, so you would have to use another product that gives your hair more grip and makes it easier to form and hold. Preferably a heat protectant spray with “heat memory” function. I have tried so so so so many products and for me the KMS California Hot Flex Spray is the BEST one. My curls last for 3-4 days with that one. Spray it like you already do with your other products, be sure to not miss any section and then blow dry and they should last! Hope this helps and if you try it and it works I would love to know! 🥰

    I also have the same issue with my curls dropping. After each section I usually the curls after and keep them pinned for a couple of hours or for however long I have before I need to go out. This usually does the trick and holds them longer and even when they go, my hair has some body to it a couple of days later :)

    Wow! I can do my whole head in 6 minutes with the big barrel abs my hair is a tiny bit longer than yours! No wonder you gave up the first time! I used the dryer piece at the root for max a minute all over head, then I get the big barrel and do 3 sections like yours but bigger sections. I only use a small amount of sally hansen 10 in 1 heat protector as my hair is naturally white so no chemical damage. Try bigger sections and clip them after for 10 minutes only while they cool.
