I was looking for a tutorial just like this one, I like how you explain everything for people like me that know nothing about the Dyson air wrap. What I did notice is that your hair doesn’t fit on the barrel so I’m afraid to buy it if the hair won’t fit, I have a lot of hair and is longer than yours. Also, does dyson air wrap have discounts or it will always be full price?
I’m happy you found this video helpful as a hair tutorial! Lots of great questions! I would say it may seem like my hair doesn’t fit on this barrel, but it definitely does with the way that this is engineered the heat can penetrate any length really. Secondly, I honestly haven’t seen Dyson do any sales I feel like they’re usually about the same price. There may be some type of discount if you go to their website and enter your email - And leave without purchasing. They might send you a follow up discount to your email. Maybe let me know if it works. I wish I had a discount to share with you. I honestly have been using this for maybe two years now and really love it and the health of my hair has never been better compared to normal hairdryer and brush and heat tools, etc..
Thank you for the question. Do you have any 80s celebrity examples for the 80s wave? If I’m understanding correctly, that’s actually the same issue I was having with the way the Dyson instructions were written to use. So my technique using the opposite direction with my hand assisting the hair - prevents that sucking tight curl at the ends. LMK if that helps.
HELP> dyson vs. revlon. pls help guys. i have thick, coarse, 3b curly hair that ive been straighten for a while: flat iron 2 years, revlon for a year. i have so much heat damage despite using the revlon for the past year along with hair oiling and hair masks weekly. so many split ends and so much breakage. i assume the revlon is better than the titanium flat iron i used earlier, and its wayy faster too. but... it is causing damage, so i bought the dyson. pls help me. idk if i should return it. actually, my mom bought it for me bc im a kid. but idk if its worth it. i tried the round brush attachment once and here is my verdict: my roots are wayyyy flatter than from the revlon bc of the smaller barrel. used less time than the revlon. **someone whose used both can u tell me if the dyson is heat damaging? or if you've only used the dyson on curly hair, have u noticed heat damage???? pls help me. ill feel rly guilty if i waste my mom's money. it's ONLY worth it to me if the round brush dyson is less HEAT DAMAGING than the revlon. i like using the curling barells, but that's not why i bought it.
Hi there, this is a great question. Thank you so much for bringing this up. I have actually used all of the tools you mentioned above. And I also noticed an improvement when I started using the Revlon hairbrush over hot tools such as a straightener. However, after I started using the Dyson air wrap, I noticed my hair, getting thicker and having less damage and split ends right away. I haven’t touched any other hot tool or hair tool, other than the Dyson air wrap for over a year and a half and my hair has never been healthier. There’s something about the bristles in the Revlon brush dryer that pull your hair and damage the ends, in my opinion. So, if you’re asking me, I would definitely say the Dyson will help your hair improvement.
@@RitaAlmusaBeauty hi! thank you so much. I am planning on keeping my dyson because I've heard many people having similar experiences regarding the revlon. the revlon was amazing at first, but i definitely do have damage from it, i am hoping the dyson will be better. Thanks for ur reply! Sorry for all the questions, but do you use the dyson round brush a lot? i have curly hair, so that's what ill need to use in order to straighten it and im worried that the dyson round brush will be just as damaging as the revlon one. or would u recommend i buy the dyson firming brush attachment instead of the round brush attachment that i currently have to straighten my hair?
That is such a great question, and I’m glad you asked. I have found a great way, and that’s to do a hot shot facing downwards going over them, and then a cool shot to lock in the fly aways. I always finish with a shot of flexible hair spray and then press them down w my fingers etc. Hope this is helpful!
I was just informed Ulta has been sold out of this Dyson Airwrap for over a year, and they just barely got it back in stock! I guess the timing for my tutorial is perfect. 🤩😍
@@zunazaf8183 I typically have to use a heat activated serum followed by flexible hair spray to lock in my waves. But maybe, it could be the timing.. the time on heat and the time you hold the cool shot. Also, maybe wrap in a high twisted bun until fully cooled. This will lock in waves. Hopefully 🙏
That’s a good question… Honestly, I think it’s because the curl wand are a lot less abrasive on the hair since they don’t have any bristles before this I always used to use a large curling brush with a dryer… But this is just a new way entirely of getting those big waves And it’s a lot easier on the hair without actual bristles coming through the hair. If that makes sense.

@@silviasanchez5266 maybe, there could be a few factors for sure. I have a lot of hair, but I found that separating it into sections helped me finish quicker.. Are you using the same technique / attachments as I used in this tutorial?
Unfortunately, I rushed and bought this product without checking and listening to the opinions of previous users. When I use it in the correct way shown on UA-cam, my hair becomes perfect and beautiful. But it only lasts for a few minutes and then becomes frizzy, unhealthy and untidy. Although my original hair type is not curly or rough.. The price of the product is very expensive compared to its poor quality. It was promoted a lot.. and now it is only in the closet and takes up space without me actually benefiting from it.. I am forced to go back to using the regular hair dryer.. I am disappointed and regret buying it
Thank you for your comment. I will say, I had this exact same sentiment about this product, and it did sit in the cabinet for months, before I decided to give it another "go". I will say the major differentiator and success was in the hair products I was applying pre-use and post-use. Are you using enough hair product/the correct hair product to smooth and hold the style? I hope this is helpful. Also, as your hair grows, remember you may need more product/less if you cut the length etc.
Loved this tutorial. I just got my Airwrap, finally took the plunge and I have not fully used it, only tried it to make some curls and I was amazed. I cannot wait to do the entire blowout. Just curious I have thick hair as well, what shampoo and conditioner do you use prior to doing this type of blowout? @ritaalmusabeauty Thank you!
So glad to hear that you liked this tutorial! That’s a really great question because you have to make sure that you’re using the right shampoo and conditioner for thick hair like ours. I really like to use the deep moisturizer collection. It’s the purple bottle. But I’ve also used products from, Amica and Redken so soft line. I’m honestly on the hunt so let me know if you find any that are great companies.
That is a really great question! So, what I do is, I twist my top side bangs away from my face and together w the rest of my hair, I twist into a high bun and either clip with a small clip or a soft scrunchy. As long as it’s twisted into a soft bun, it doesn’t kink. 😊❤

You look just like Kate Moss with a little bit of Amber Heard! Wow ❤
♥️🫶🏻Thank you 🙏 Wow, that’s so sweet of you!! I could only wish.
👍👏❤️
Thank you 🙏💕
You have so much hair
Haha I know… it’s a struggle. That’s one of the reasons I invested in this air wrap. It saves me so much time. ❤😊
Too much work!
It may seem like it in this video, but in reality it’s not about 20 min and lasts for days. 🙏💕
Hot rollers for the win! Easy and fast. I’d love to find a cool shot roller set.
toooooo much time
20 minutes for a five day hair-do? It’s worth it, trust me.
@@RitaAlmusaBeauty in my case woulf be 20’/day
@@RitaAlmusaBeauty and it looks like 20’ just to dry them plus other time to curl
@@cheri4669im so glad you asked for clarification, because the entire hairstyle from wet to finished is 20 minutes. 🙏❤️ And I have A LOT of hair.
Caviar- purple deep moisturizer collection. I think I linked it on this video.
thank you for this tutorial! what do you do with your hair at night when you sleep to protect the curls?
That is a really great question! So, what I do is, I twist my top side bangs away from my face and together w the rest of my hair, I twist into a high bun and either clip with a small clip or a soft scrunchy. As long as it’s twisted into a soft bun, it doesn’t kink. 😊❤
How long does it last
How’s your hand from the twirling? 😂
Haha not bad at all.. the tool is super lightweight so much better than when I used to hold a regular dryer and round brush for an hour.
