My daughter gave me a Dyson Airwrap for Christmas and I'm just starting to figure out how to use it. I've been looking for ways to speed up the process for days I don't have much time so I appreciate the inspiration! I'm going to use a timer and see how much I can do in 5 minutes too! Thanks!
Love your videos thank you for sharing . Sparing energy getting ready is a game changer. Most days my hair is just doing it’s thing and this would help greatly. 5 minutes and you look amazing. Just wow
What a brilliant video! Short, and to the point!! You and I have VERY similar very fine hair, and haircut. Just had mine cut several weeks ago, and I hate it, as it just hangs there. I'm disabled with chronic illnesses/pain/exhaustion and can only shower/wash my hair about once a fortnight, which makes things even worse with fine hair. I soooo wish I could give it a little style, like this! Your's looks beautiful! How long does it stay like thst though?? What products do you use before and after drying? This is a hell of a price in the uk (unaffordable), but I would be intetested to hear why you chose to dry your hair with the Dyson, and not just use it's curling wand? Does it dry it better than your conventional hairdryer?
Hi, I’ve just realised you are in the UK. I have commented back on another post and maybe thought you were in Australia I don’t tend to use much before styling but usually use hair spray after I have today published a makeup post that shows my hair at the end 4 days after using the Airwrap I usually wash mine every 5-6 days I love the Airwrap better because it’s so much quicker to dry it and I still have energy to style with one of the barrels Thank you for commenting
@@allthingsdisability3007 Thanks for your answer. Mine is so fine, that by the time I've taken the towel off my freshly washed hair, it's TOO dry! Lol I'm wondering if there might be one for sale, much cheaper, on ebay Yeah, I'm in the uk (unfortunately! Lol)
@@Mortthemoose you could definitely get one of the older models of Airwrap cheaper on FB marketplace. I don’t wrap my hair in a towel anymore as I find it’s too knotty. I just pat dry and find it’s better Good luck I hope you find one
@@allthingsdisability3007 Hi. I had no idea that you replied! Stupid UA-cam didn't notify me! Grrrrrrr! Please forgive me, but I'm going to copy and paste part of this comment that I just left for someone else: After many years, I DID eventually buy one, on sale, but I knew I wouldn't get on with the two different ends that you have to change on the 2nd hand ones, so I got a new one. I've had it for nearly 2 months and today was the first time I got to use it! I'm going to have to ring QVC to ask for an extension to their 60 day trial period! I don't understand how you keep the waves in?? I have very fine hair....very much like yours, in style and thickness. I'm disabled with Chronic Illnesses/Pain, and get very little quality time, when I'm well enough to have a shower and wash my hair. I usually do absolutely nothing to my hair, but for the first time today, i spent 40 minutes (yes, you read that right! 40 bloomin' minutes!!) 😣😵💫 messing around, drying it to 80%, and curling it, re-dampening my hair, as it dries out soooo quickly, and trying again etc. I knew it would need some kind of setting lotion, and in the end i used TWO! I was using the middle heat setting and the high "sucking" setting, then used the cold shot for 10 seconds on each bit. I also realised afterwards that I had used the smaller of the two barrels. After i finally looked like Shirley Temple, i used the extremely wide toothed comb that came with it, got the odd tangle out...... Looked in the mirror, and ALL THE CURLS HAD GONE!!! I'm absolutely shattered now, and found the cold air shot hurt my thumb and hand, as you have to keep that pushed "on" for each 10 second shot! Arm/wrist/hand aching like crazy now! (bought mine in Dec 2023, so it's one of the newer versions). This is my first time using this, and I'm sooo disappointed! 😔 My hair DOES feel a bit thicker and fuller, but all those curls and waves are gone! eg. How long do you hold it in, during the curling? I did it for 10 secs, as my scalp was feeling the heat, then a 10 sec shot of cold air. It would be lovely to hear from you again, and how you are managing with it. I know that it takes a lot of practise, even with normal hair. Jan, in Scotland, uk 🏴🇬🇧🌍
Hi Hun I would let your hair air dry 80% before using the large brush and curling for 10-15 seconds then 10 second cold shot. You could also use hair spray straight after each curl but I only do that for Special Occasions I also sometimes use Monat blow out cream or you could use something similar I hope this helps
Your hair is so shining ❤ You both are beautiful! I’m from Ukraine 🇺🇦 I was wondering if it would be useful for me to buy Dyson. And I like how it works on your hair.
Wow, you sold me on the Dyson Airwrap. Time pressure and distractions, fine hair, amateur hair skills .. and your hair looks GREAT!
Thank you 😊
thank you so much for sharing: it's very useful for me as well. Fine hair, two left hands (and some age shoulder issues lately...) I am impressed

Great video, how long do you hold each curl for before releasing it, thanks?
I hold the cold shot for about 5 seconds and then release
Very informative ❤
Thank you
Great video, I can't believe how quick it dried your hair!
