Band-Maid will add some English to their songs, not only for America, but also a lot of the rest of the world. They also parts (the sound la, for instance) in their songs so that the audience can sing along. They are very conscious of their audience. I’ll admit I was about to pass on your review after Warning but decided to try again. I’m glad I did. We don’t have to agree but hopefully appreciate the musicianship. Thanks for the review.
"Shut up!" is what they say at the end. There was criticism that they were a very "poppy" band so this song, filmed with a hand held 8mm camera, was the result. Not much criticism since, Po! BTW, the protagonist slow killed his victims and filmed it with a handheld 8mm camera to see if he could capture the victims soul leaving their bodies.
Thank you for reacting to Band-Maid, I agree with your assessment of Band-Maid. They are surely very talented musicians, all of them. If you love MISA's playing I would suggest a few songs from the album Unseen World, Manners, No God, After Life. I'm a bass player and MISA has been my inspiration since I discovered Band-Maid in early 2021. Please react to more Band-Maid, whatever you choose from their YT channel, you can't go wrong.
I reacted to around 10 or so of their songs on my other channel. This one was one of those. Those videos are all slowly being transitioned to this channel. I'm sure I will react to more from them as well.
Further, the concept of this video is based on the Japanese horror film "Rinne". They synopsis of the movie is of a man who records himself murdering people using an old 8mm camera (hence why the vid was filmed using Super 8mm). His intent was to see if if he could capture the soul leaving the body the moment the victim dies.
a quick 'Japanese lesson' (I don't speak it, but ... ) ... Japanese is a language that for the most part is short syllables all ending with a vowel sound. you can never go wrong reading Japanese by making each syllable as short as possible and ending with a vowel. for example, 'make' in English is one syllable ending in a 'k' sound: 'make' in Japanese would be pronounced 'ma ka', two short syllables both ending with a vowel sound. that said, because of the lack of syllables ending in consonant sounds, Japanese songwriters usually try to mix in English words every now and then to keep the sound of the singing interesting. Miku, the rhythm guitarist and backup vocalist, is the band's main lyricist, and is known for her Japanese poetry, and her ability to mix in the proper English words at the proper time, not just randomly throwing English words in every now and then. and of course Siaki, the lead singer has no problem singing these lyrics, although from what I hear singing like this is not as easy as one would think.
I can’t wait to see them in Seattle 10/12/22. This band sounds amazing to me! As you see by now there are no weak pillars in this band, all of them are on top of their game. I think it helps that they have been together for almost 10 years. This kind of song everyone has to be spot on and in sync for it to sound so good, and they do it well.

As I understand it, Japanese artists sometimes use words in foreign language as an artistic aspect. I know some, not Japanese, artist mixing in French words as well while singing otherwise in another language. Using a different language for some parts gives a different feel to the song. If you saw domination live, which is a fantastic live performance, there is also a MV that you could compare with for reaction. Otherwise I think you would have great fun with the ”live” video with the two songs Manners and Black hole. Band maid changed how I think about music.
*BAND-MAID* like to insert English words or phrases into their music so when they tour out west that can have the crowd interaction.... *Rock October* 🤘🤘🤘
A lot of Band-Maids songs are a mix of japanese/ english and as time goes by you will get better at hearing it. Just as it requires multiple listens to absorb all that is going on in a Band-Maid song ( Mincho is a savant at composition) the more you will discover ... No Band on the planet like Band-Maid Po.
Band maid has it all. So many styles, musicianship is great. It’s not just skills, which are amazing, but the way they create songs.
They're very good.
BAND-MAID is the best hard rock band of all time!
They're a pretty impressive hard rock band, definitely not the best of all time.
Best I've ever heard in my 57 years!
Both an opinion and a ridiculous statement.
I don't understand Japanese....but it hasn't stopped me buying their entire back catalouge.
Good on you.

BAND-MAID USA TOUR OCTOBER 2022 and NEMOPHILA will be in USA at the same time... 🤘
Correct.

Band Maid flows from Japanese to English back and forth in almost all of their song's.
Correct.
The majority of their videos have English subtitles, so it always pays to check....just sayin'. 🤘
I prefer reactions without.
Band Maid is a really awesome band very impressive indeed yeah I wish I could understand what the singer is saying to
Eh, I don't think it matters.
@@ProjectEllsworthReacts yeah they still sound awesome regardless
Have you checked out their song Without Holding Back? Very impressive.
Not yet.

They're a good band.
If you liked the bass and drums try "Manners/Blackhole" live
Just think of saiki's voice as an instrument and the words become secondary
😄👍🍻
Every singer's voice is their instrument. The words do matter if you're interested in what they're saying.

Band Maid doing Band Maid Things.
That's what bands do.
the reference is to obscure for someone new to these girls...but yep
Check out their music video for Dice next. The bass play shines and has a little bit of creepy vibes but mostly just kicks ass!
