    Rocks and Toys in the Attic are seminal hard rock with at times, punk energy and wicked two guitar riffage.

    You are a legend. I believe your techniques are and will be passed down for years. Still coming up with new. I admire your horses. I saw a picture of you and your wife with them, beautiful! Looked like a picture out of a Renaissance period. Thank you for your years of entertaining all of us. A very gifted person.

    What a captivating and interesting story about Joe..... I knew Joe's story, but not to the details that I've just heard about.... Thanks to whoever showed everyone this wonderful video, I'm very grateful to know about Joe and about my favorite band, much more than I knew about one of the musicians, my favorite and adored band of mine - Aerosmith ....❤

    Growing up in greater Boston, I would see the Project perform afternoon all ages shows at the Channel when I was a teenager. There'd be a few dozen of us there and the band would come off stage and talk with us. I got to know some of the members, especially Charlie Farren and David Hull, who eventually formed the Enemy then Farrenheit. Joe Petrucelli (Joe Pet as he's know) was the drummer after Ronnie Stewart left. He's good friend's with my brother. Great times for a kid.

      Saw the Project with Charlie fronting at the Orpheum in 1981, to this day still one of the best shows I’ve ever seen

      @@robpaxson4455 I was at that show too. Great night. I vacation at Sebago Lake. There's a place at the Causeway in Naples called Rick's Cafe. Good food and drinks. They have live music too. One year (at least 20 since I was still drinking then) James Montgomery Band was performing with Monster Mike Welch. JM is a legendary local blues guy and Mike Welch was, at the time, a 16 year old guitar prodigy. I went to the show and David Hull was on bass. At the break I bought him a beer and talked about JPP, Farrenheit, etc. He was really cool even when I busted his chops about changing his name to David Heit (Farren Heit). I've met Charlie a few times at shows too. He's another great guy.

    Not sure he voted Republican. I read Aerosmith sued Trump. They didn't want their song played at any of his events and Trump tried to anyway, or something like that.

      He has stated some very conservative things over the years, hunts and has owned firearms for a long time.

    • @warmothgmc
      @warmothgmc 7 місяців тому

      @@bradsmith7311what does hunting and firearms have to do with political affiliation? I’m quiet sure there are leftist hunters and firearm owners out there. Yes, I lean conservative, and I happen to own and train with firearms recreationally. I guess I’m just tired of Republicans constantly being labelled as “gun nuts” and “right wing extremists”. I salute people who think that way with my middle finger. Some of us are rather moderate and actually have our own thoughts and ideas about things.
      Anyway, Perry is one of my favorites; but, Brad Whitford should be given more credit for his musicianship and contribution to Aerosmith. Brad is technically a better guitar player in my opinion. As for the duo, the sum of the parts is greater as a whole.

    • @bradsmith7311
      @bradsmith7311 7 місяців тому +1

      @warmothgmc since you posed the question, if you have been paying attention at all ,most ,I say again, most people who hunt tend to lean conservative or at least libertarian .not all,most.he has said previously that he tends to vote to the right.to be clear, I have hunted most of my 60 years and have never met any leftist that hunts.in the music business it is an outlier to find some center right.there are a handful.being a musician for the same amount of time ,I can speak to this trend as well.maybe that clears it up a skoshe.

    • @warmothgmc
      @warmothgmc 7 місяців тому

      @@bradsmith7311 well, I understand that. I just don’t care for people who tend to stereotype others and get all uppity about it….especially those woke idiots. I’ve never hunted myself; but, I have the guns if I ever wanted to set one up for it and give it a whirl. I guess my Marlin 336 30-30 lever action would come to mind. I’m also a musician; and, I know there are very few right-leaning musicians out there, except for country. Frankly, I didn’t know Joe Perry was a Republican. Most right wingers would be country musicians, unless you throw Ted Nugent in the mix, lol. Anyway, in my 61 years, I’ve witnessed a growing polarization between people of different value sets. We are divided as a nation, and people seem to refuse to discuss common sense. Anyway, I love Aerosmith in any case. I grew up on their early albums, and seen them live a couple times. Always enjoyable. As far as I’m concerned, politics is way to much on people’s minds anymore. All politician’s are corrupt self-serving scum anyway, for the most part.
