Cool little car! I never understood why people do not like the 4 door cars, to me they are far more practical. But I like practical cars that I can actually use. I just wish that people would show those types of cars some love too. Anyway great video!
I believe that was the last year for the Dart? 1976 welcomed in the NEW Dodge Aspen which had a host of it’s own problems. I had friend’s in high school who had darts. You couldn’t kill them. Rust was a major issue then & now. Yes, they were slow. Basic transportation. This one looks like it sat outside for a long time & it was too far gone to be kept? So it will become a parts car to keep others on the road. Thanks for posting!
A good friend of mine in college had a 2-door 1975 Dart. He drove the stew out that car. Had the slant 6 in it too. Had a lot of pep. Good car back then to have.
Wow, what a find... the Leaning Tower of Power is probably a 225 CID Years before this they had a 170 and 198 CID, tappets were always noisy until they started using hydraulic lifters.
buddy and i were in a demo derby years ago with a wagon and a slant 6.. we were doing good till the announcer said it was a slant 6 in it then everyone ganged up on him lol
This one is a cheapy-cheap odd ball. Know how its obvious? The front, small-bolt pattern drum brakes. That's fleet-order/uber-chintzy car. I've owned about two dozen A-bodies, from 1966-1976.

@@johnclyne6350 appreciate the info! Definitely got parts. Someone was pulling the grille and headlights not long after I looked at it :)
Nope. 1976, Chrysler ran production of both for a little while. In '76 they had A38 police package Darts & Valiants, too

Pretty cool find. I believe the 6 cylinder in those was a 225 cid. Thanks for posting. New subscriber.
@ClassicChrome86 i think you're right on the 225, two of yall said that's what it was now. Glad you enjoyed, and good to hear! (:
@@MNMoparMinivan Hey! Glad to help.
Yes. 225
This car would make the perfect "sleeper"! 😎
Yeah it would!

That dart is 50 years older than my 15 dart lol
@@codycrawford2385 i had a 2016 dart. Liked that car a lot!
But those are FIATs.
I don't know what happened to it.
Chrysler Corporation cars still had ammeters back then.
I drove this car 2 years ago the thing was clapped.
ha thats crazy!
Wasn't the engine. Bet it still runs. Even without oil or a valve cover..
@@painkillerjones6232 🤣
@MNMoparMinivan I'm not joking.
@painkillerjones6232 I didn't figure you were. I am however expecting you to sneak into the yard with a battery and drive it out now.
It's a 4 door, right where it belongs.

How do you know it's a female?
@davideick7084 clearly I checked the undercarriage to verify the cars gender.
Poor dart :(
I know right. But hey it'll keep other darts in the road hopefully. Someone was pulling the lights and grille out when I passed it on my way out
