    Thank u Alex!! I observed that u let the air ratchet spin and then hit the bolt with your Snap-On or Mac impact universal. On the Taurus, u were able to get almost all the upper engine bolts. Super job!!

    Wow - about 45 minutes to remove it. How many hours does the book say it should take? Your boss better hold on to you!

    is the transmision removal similer to the removal of a toyota solara 1999 ?

    What about that green converter bolt u were going to tell us about? Appreciate your hard work!!

      Ha. So the green converter bolt has a shoulder that centers the converter on flywheel. Tighten this one first and all others will line right up.. this applies to all Toyotas.

    lot of work just to get to it... do you repair whatever is wrong with the transmission or do you send it to a specialist? or is this clutch replacement only? thx for sharing.

      We rebuild all transmissions in house..We replace all worn out parts seals,clutches,gaskets,etc to insure it last as long as it did before. We are the specialists.

    I've got a 2004 camry with u241e trans and after the cars been driving for over ten mins it won't shift out of 2nd..no check engine light on .. any suggestions

      that would have to be diagnosed weather the computer is just not commanding the shift or it is and the transmission just can not make the shift for internal reasons. very common computer failures but needs to be diagnosed. good luck

    Could you do a video showing how your tool cart is setup?

    • @dreiher2
      @dreiher2 7 років тому

      Tell us where to get the cart itself, the sides and the holders for all the sockets and things on there.

      my cart is all custom it started out as a top and bottom shelf. i reinforced the bottom and added larger casters when it became to heavy. most my socket holders are magnet rails.the trays are tool box side trays and the drawers are from a big chest tool box that i bolted underneath. this cart isn't the prettiest but it rolls around like a cadillac in the shop and makes my production is the shop very efficient.

      Thanks! Where do you get those nice side trays you have withall the holes all over for long prybars and things? Where do you get nice long magnetic socket holders like you have?

      i started working at the shop and was useing there tools and i spent more time looking for stuff then working on the car so i bought 3/8 rachet and deep 3/8 socket set and showlow 3/8 set and 1/2 showle set and 1/2 deep set and now i get more done instead of looking for tools the best infastment that i bought lol
