People, this is an intermediate stich. I myself are just getting to this level, but instead of complaining at him to slow down, I pause, rewind amd replay as many times as I need to until I get it. Thank you for demonstrating such a beautiful stitch, I hope to learn more.
My Droid is able to speed up and slowdown the speed. Upper right on screen has 3 dots. I tap it and look down for the playback speed option. Then I tap on the speed that I need.
Honestly, I've been watching TCC for the past several months and this is one of the more concise videos. Good job to Mikey! For absolute beginners, the videos can be slowed down via the "cogwheel" button in the lower right hand corner of any UA-cam video! Helps a ton.
I agree Chrystal I always pause and rewind and rewind and rewind as often as i need to catch upto him or to catch up i just rewind and watch the whole thing over again.
Thank you so much Mikey, I really really enjoyed watching you creating this amazing pattern. I’m going to have to watch it a few times to get the idea, but I’m making a cuddle blanket for my great granddaughter and I think this pattern is going to but fantastic for that. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Thank you very much for this playlist! I’ve crocheted for so many years not every day, week, or month but when ever I could. For the past 5 years much more often. I’ve done many projects throughout the years with many different patterns and combinations of stitches. I rarely would remember the name of the stitches except the most basic. I’ve been trying to memorize them and I think this will help.
Thank you for all the videos! You have thought me how to crochet in a very short time. I have made super sized afghans for all my family and friends for Christmas. All the new babies in my family now get a hand made blanket. Scarves by the bucket load are made. I am a mad woman with a set of crochet hooks (I like wooden ones the best, they are warm and do not have the thumb intention). Please keep on posting videos, yours are the best out there. Thank you for the gift of crochet
Thank you for sharing the details of this Larks track crochet. I have tried it and found this super easy to make. I am a big fan of any work done in front post and back post crochet. So, I was thrilled to create this project together with the Elizabeth crochet. Your instructions are easy to follow-up on. Thank you. My project turned out. Super cute and easy on the eyes.
Mikey, this stitch is so freaking cool! And to be so easy to understand, count and make! Thanks so much for sharing. You always explain everything so well, even patterns. You taught me how to read patterns, you are a gem❣️❣️
It is like that with crochet...it looks really difficult and complicated to do, and yet so easy once your learn the ''how to''. Thank you for this great presentation. Ali
This stitch is daunting at first (the fifth stitch can hide) but once you get it down it is really enjoyable to do. Thank you for such great instructions -- counting definitely helps.
Hi Mikey👋. This just showed up in my feed today. I noticed it was from 8yrs ago. 😅 This is a cool 😎 pattern. I definitely will be making a headband w/this & maybe an afgan in the future. These tutorials & patterns are VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!! Luv ya Mkey ❤. 🤗😘. Hav a great day @thecrochetcrowd
Thank you, Mikey!!! Both of my hands are now affected by arthritis, but this is a stitch I can still manage. It's lovely, you are a good teacher and easy to follow instructions. Keep up the good work...
Lovely stitch, thank you. For those wanting slower, if you click the settings button (gear cog icon) on bottom right of screen, there is an option to slow down play :-)
I was going crazy trying to find the perfect stitch for a circular scarf with some out of production Noro yarn I had and then I stumbled across this. Such an easy stitch that looks so complex. I'm in love! I may have to do an afghan after I finish the scarf. Thank you so much!
I can’t believe how easy this is and what beautiful pattern it makes. Definitely adding this to my list. I think you did a great job on the video as well.
This pattern is interesting. Love the details in the video. It has been a very cold spring. I am making this one now. This is a great project to make ahead of time for family and friends. Thank you.
Really nice stitch. Can't wait to try it for myself. Love your tutorials, Mikey. You do a super job showing people how to crochet. It's a dying art. What a shame because it's relaxing to crochet and the things you can make are beautiful.
Thanks for doing this (since its an intermediate/advanced stitch) at the appropriate pace. Although I have been crocheting all my life, I still like to watch a video from time to time. I have found that so many are teaching intermediate or advanced stitches yet still getting in depth regarding slip knot or single crochet. Frustrates me and bores me. If I was a beginner I surely wouldnt be starting with the larkes foot while I'm still struggling with the base chain. So...thanks!
I TOTALLY agree with you Peggy. Some channels do post more advanced patterns or projects then they run over an hour trying to include a total nauvic and I loose interest. I wonder if the beginners get mixed signals from these people that try to build their channels.🤔🙄
I like this pattern and have put it in my like videos. After you chain you use the back loop and this makes a great edge. I have been crocheting for over fifty years, and like it more then knitting. Thanks for your video.
This is awesome! I am making a scarf the length way and was able to figure out the opposite so that it has a diamond look to it!! Thank you for this stitch ❤️😁
Crochet newbie and this pattern is working beautifully! I have trouble keeping my count, and working in groups of five keeps me on “track”!! I am making an throw, and have three rows of tracks, then 12 rows of double crochets (keeping the groups of five with a chain stitch) It’s making the project move along really quickly!!
Excellent tutorial. I've made many of these & they turned out to perfection. I also joined the ends & made some into cowls & it turned out lovely. Thank you so very much for an awesome tutorial.
Lovely pattern , as you said easier than it looked , I modified it slightly for a more masculine scarf , instead of chain one , skip one , I put a front post double , very pleased :) thank you
I wish I had seen this before I did week 6 of planet earth. I am just finishing up week 6 because the track was very difficult for me, so much so that the last rows, 51,52 I left off. This explanation of the stitch is so much better here, then in that explanation of week 6.. It appears easier to go from row to row as well.
Thank you 🙏 so much 💗🔥you are great 🙏your tutorial was the best I have encountered in you tube. I only started to crochet two days ago. However I managed to do the pattern.🤩
I think I'd like to make a shawl using this stitch pattern. At first it felt like my head was tight but I quickly caught on. It's clearly for us more experienced crocheters but anyone knowing the basics need only hit the pause and make a swatch along with Mikey.
HaHaHa! Thank you! This is one of the prettiest stitches I've ever seen! You just gave me my next stitch for my next blanket! It is so gorgeous! I have to do this! 😊😊
I think the speed of the tutorial is perfect. Most videos are very slow because they are beginner friendly which is great for those who just learn crocheting in general but it's annoying for a crocheted..any ways thanks for the video )))
To slow video down: Click on the little settings gear in the lower right hand corner of the video See where it says "Speed" and then "Normal >" ? Click on "Normal >" and then click on the slower speeds until you find the right one. He sounds like he's had a few drinks, but at least it's easier to follow. y/w ☕🔗🔗🔗👍
I'm extremely computer literate but listening to this guy drives me nuts! If you're teaching or explaining how to...soooo Down! Too much coffee, or other.... makes for terrible tutitorial. I found a few others doing this stich. Thank God for their patience and slower explaination
@@sherit8594 The whole point of my comment was to put the power back into your hands instead of demanding that every Teacher work at the speed that is best for you. There are many people here saying they really appreciate the speed he's moving at because they are already very experienced or experts and they don't need to see every single movement he makes. So, this tutorial is excellent for them, even if it is terrible for you. There is no Universally "Good" way to do a How-To. But _you can control your own experience here_ by slowing the video down. Or you can just watch someone else's tutorial. Everybody wins!
+The Crochet Crowd - Mikey, just wondered, is there a LEFTY version of this? I can't turn my phone upside down as the video just 'flips' right side back up and I'm stumped how to do this... ? Please let us know. TYSVM! 😊
+Susan Pethtal If you rotate Your phone so that the video is full screen and then go into your phones settings you can then turn off screen rotate. once you have done that you will be able to spin your phone around so that you can watch Mikey's tutorial from A lefty perspective. I am in the process of making this blanket right now. I love love love this stitch. It is so pretty and so very easy. I would like to know if there is a written pattern I can print out and keep in my crochet binder. Thanks for all the tutorials. They are always great and you make it easy to follow.
i just found out what the reverse side of the three braided cowl looks like i love it i am wondering how i could create that same effect without making the large sized loops .....what does the reverse side of this pattern look like?
Mikey, you da man! Thanks so much for this stitch. It is one I was looking forward to doing next and was working it out in my head and hands before since I haven't been able to get started on it yet.

OMG! You've done it again! You've made something scary appear to be so easy! I absolutely love your videos Mikey and can't thank you enough!!!
Thank you! It's easy, fun and a challenge...you made it possible for this Newby to make a really pretty afghan. You're the best Mickey...

Beautiful stitch never tried before but will do following your great instructions!
You can do it!
I've made 2 scarfs with this pattern, I've enjoyed them both, thank you so much for sharing this video ❤❤❤❤

Fabulous. I love learning more! Thank you, Mikey!

I think you did a great job on the video as well.
Sorcery! Thank you making a stitch I didn't think I'd be able to do look so easy. My sample swatch looks amazing!

So to you chain one, front post double and chain one or just no chaining, just front post double?
amazingly simple for such stunning effect. You're a fantastic teacher. Thanks a million.
