- My mom paid for all 6 of her kids to come home for a sibling reunion we haven't had in years. And to help her have a yard sale, fix some broken things, cut down some dead trees, etc. It was the first time the youngest 3 kids have been on an airplane and the other 2 didn't remember our last airplane ride in 2015. It turned out to be a fantastic trip. Got so much done to help my mom and got to see family we love and miss.

This video feels so nostalgic I’m struggling to reconcile the fact that it was filmed only a few weeks ago! This is how I remember childhood feeling, working on projects, playing outdoors. Thank you for sharing!

Haha! Yes, it was just filmed last week. We left July 2 and flew back July 9, then hung around Lori's July 10 to pick up Spencer, my 20 year old. I love that it brought back your childhood feelings. I wish I'd done a better job videoing but I was caught up in working really hard. So I'm so happy that you liked it.

Yes, I have the best siblings! Just hate that we're spread across the country with one sibling in Hong Kong. It's hard to get together very often. But we're always there for one another.

Do you think your oldest kids would ever want to talk about their memories of growing up? It would be neat to hear their perspective on how you raised them.
I'm sure they would! That's a great idea. My oldest is in Germany doing an internship and a senior couple who is in charge of it just emailed me yesterday saying Kylie entertains them with stories of growing up. They'll all be home in August so I'm writing that down for a fun video idea. Thank you!

Who was it who stayed on the farm for you?
My son, Thomas. He's the best farm babysitter! Is aware of everything that's going on, takes care of the chickens and ducks, mows, picks blueberries, sells eggs to our customers, etc. And he went to work at his job some of the days too. (Just not 4th of July and the weekend)
What size clothes does your youngest daughter wear?

I'm just curious how Grandma became Mama? I know each family has their own names, and I'm just wondering if there's a story behind it?
When the oldest grandchild was 2 he just started calling my parents "Mama" and "Papa". No neat story, At least not that I remember. I was out in Texas. But somehow it stuck.
Which airport?
We flew out of Greensboro b/c it was the cheapest flights. And then back into Charlotte where my sister lives because my 20 year old son was also flying into Charlotte the next day and Thomas could come pick us all up in one trip.
