Vegan Protein Snickers Bars 🌱🍫😍 (Gluten Free & No Refined Sugar)

Recipe ⬇️
Nougat:
* 1/2 cup oat flour or almond flour
* 1 tbsp hemp seeds
* 1/4 cup @complement unflavored protein powder
* 2 tbsp cashew butter
* 2 tbsp agave
* 1/4 cup hemp milk
Caramel layer
* 1 cup dates (make sure they’re sticky or soft)
* 1/2 cup peanuts
* 2 tbsp peanut butter
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate coating
* 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
* 1 tsp coconut oil
For kids:
➡️Substitute protein powder for 1/4 cup oat flour, 2 tbsp spelt flour, and 1 tbsp coconut oil
Directions:
1. Start by making the nougat and combine all of the ingredients together in a food processor. Blend until combined (don’t over blend). Transfer mixture to a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Pat down to even it out and place in the freezer to let set while you make the caramel layer.
2. For the caramel layer, put the dates, peanut butter, & vanilla extract in the food processor. Blend until you get a date paste. Remove the nougat layer from the freezer and add on the caramel layer and add it back to the freezer while you make the chocolate.
3. Melt your chocolate and add in each piece of bars into the chocolate. Place it back on the parchment paper and put it into the freezer to let the chocolate harden for about 15 minutes.
4. Take them out and enjoy! These are best stored in the freezer .**
