Installed fog lights on my 2011 XB yesterday. Your video helped. Thank you. I also bought some aftermarket DLR LED lights, but they're too short and wouldn't look good on the designated place (where you installed your OEM ones). I may install therm on the horizontal black grill immediately under the hood.
Glad to help! Thanks for leaving feedback! And that’s too bad that the lights didn’t work where you intended them, but that back up plan sounds like it would look pretty nice.
Thank you sir, I just bought the same fog light grill to put on my xb scion. (2nd gen) Now to install speakers, radio and LED bulbs for the headlights. Wish you lived closer to help!!! :)
I just did LED headlight bulbs! Those are super easy to change (video coming soon!). The radio and speakers are a bit more work, but nothing too crazy. Good luck on your build! I’m happy to answer any questions if you have any
@@DaBadNewz fog lights in. "check" headlights new led ones not working the pigtale doesn't work with any new xb headlight bulbs having issues trying to find the dang right ones to work with these new headlights. grr. 2008 xb forgot to mention just got a newest member to my family a female American bulldog pup. She reminds me of your baby.
Thanks! At the time, I didn’t realize just how great a find, I haven’t seen another set come through ANY of the yards within like 100 miles of my house since then. And Chulo appreciates the love!!
@@DaBadNewz ordered seat covers, a rear wing, and just put on new wheels and tires yesterday. Not sure what’s next but gotta save up some cash now anyway. Would love some fog lights
I’ve had a wing I’ve been wanting to install, but since it was also junkyard find, I don’t have the template for the holes. Sounds like you got some cool shit in the works though !
It's cool that you are hookin that xb up bruh I'm a sub for sure I have a 2011 release and it sucks that they don't make tish for xbs after 2010 I wanted to upgrade my headlights and taillights but apparently they won't fit I don't understand why because they are exactly the same body style except for the smaller grille on 2011s nice upgrade though✌🏾
Oh you got the RS?? Nice!! But yea I know what you mean! Lately I’ve been really interested in parts for the Japanese or Australian versions (just because there was a lot more options, and most of em were waaay cooler looking). But I might just try DIYing as much shit as I can with modified junkyard parts cuz I don’t got that youtube money yet! Thanks for the sub tho man! Got a lot of shit planned for this one. Have a good one!
Hey my bad for the delay! But you know what’s funny? I THOUGHT it was the same connector so I cut them off a car at the junkyard, but then this morning I actually tried to connect then and noticed they’re NOT the same!
That’s actually a great idea! Hadn’t even considered that, but that’s 100% doable! Thanks for that idea! I might have to go that route! (Kinda wanted everything on it’s own switch just for the cockpit feel, but that’s definitely a route that’s gonna get some consideration)
@@DaBadNewz yeah for sure dude. I mention the increase fuse cause I tapped into my brake lights for the shadow lights in the doors on my 2012 xb and grounded out on something and caught fire. Got er back to spick and span tho. If you want the cock pit feel you could mod the button and use a NOS switch 😎 Watching you vids from the Maritimes in Canada. Love your channel bro.
Uh oh! Yea those lessons are always the ones that stick hahah. That’s a crazy ass situation but I’m glad everything’s all good. I’m a firm believer in fuses (been zapped one too many times). Great ideas tho! Thanks for contributing man, I really appreciate that!
Thank you!! Looking to take it pretty far! And no I’ve had it a couple years, I’m just deciding to hold back a lil less and dive in to the project more and more as I go.
Good to know on the hazard switch also functioning as a fog light switch. 👍🏼
Right? Very cool to still have the functionality

You can use Pigtail Harness PT2045 PT-2045 to wire in the Daylight Running Lights.
Oh man thank you for that!!! Very solid info!

The lights for mine were the H11 and HB3 (for low and hi beam). I *think* those would work on yours, but I’m not 100% sure.
I bet that pup is a cutey!
I needed to see how to get those daylights on, I have a 2014 XB. Much appreciated! Ima check more of your channel!
Happy to help man! Hope you enjoy some of the other videos!
Great shit bro 🙌🏼🔥
Chulo was a great addition! Lol
Thanks man!! He likes to be all up in the business

Heeeey thanks!! Just me trying to be cool n shit hahah. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment man, I appreciate that!
can someone please tell me what light bulb size the vertical Running Lights use, I can't find the size anywhere, not even in the manual
Those don’t actually have bulbs. They’re LED so you have to swap out the whole light if they go bad.
@@DaBadNewz wow not very reliable, shocking coming from a Toyota
Yea definitely not the most maintenance friendly lighting!
just wondering if i was to install those DRLs without the fogs, would the fog harness connect to the DRLs?
