Man, i’m 13 and I started to crochet six months ago, I thought that my family would laugh at me but they’re actually really nice about it and they often ask me to do things for them. Also thank you for teaching me how to do crochet❤️
You're a lifesaver! I started doing crochet to find a hobby to get out of an emotional slump, I tried a lot of tutorials here in YT but I always get so confused. At first I thought it's too hard for me and I almost gave up but then I came across your channel over a recommendation from reddit. I learned a lot just from the first two episodes, and I like how you explain in detail every step and you give advices every now and then. Other tutorials are too fast and they expect us to follow through just by watching, but you made it step by step without skipping even the smallest, most common details, which made yours easier to follow and understand. Thank you so much!
My last crochet was in high school, so I am definitely a begginer. I am making a little scarf for my adult daughter's favourite toy animal. I started with 10 stitches, after a while, it became 8, then 7 , and now it's 9. 😆😆 My daughter said, " Mom, this little scarf has character, I don't want you to do any correction, leave it and keep working." She is an angel. Thank you for your demonstration. 🙂
You are very welcome, it sounds like you are dropping and increasing stitches as you go along. Make sure you count your stitches after each round. Your daughter is so right in saying it's got character, it's something you can look back at to see how much you have improved over time :)
I'm so mesmerized on how smooth you crochet!! It's like the yarn is very soft and silky, or it's just your motions. I've been trying to practice crochet and it's always so tight 😭 though I'm trying to do it smoothly like you! Thank you so much for the tutorials! ♡
In this modern era people use to forget that behind videos and comments, there are real people. I'm learning a new skill and I'm very thankful for all your tutorials. I wish I could stand in front of you and say THANK YOU personally.
Just found you through Reddit, they were not lying when they said your videos are the best, thank you so much, I’m a male and wanna do crochet for stress relief and I’m pretty sure your videos are going to make my life so much easier. Just ordered basic stuff from Amazon today.
As an avid knitter, I've been avoiding learning how to crochet for a while (it just looks so intricate and scary!), but thanks to your videos, I've overcome some of those nerves, and I'm really enjoying myself! Thank you for the clear and patient instructions!
I was in the same boat!! I knew how to knit and when my friend tried to teach me crochet it was a disaster that ended in frustrated tears 😅 These videos made it so easy!
Your videos are genuinely the only ones I can understand. My grandma taught me very few basics as a kid & I’ve recently gotten really into it after having my son. I’ve made 3 blankets from another video of yours & now love to watch them bc they help SO much! It’s special to me because it’s something that connects me & my grandmother, we can bond over it, though we’ve always had a strong connection. I don’t see her as much as I should & im sure id be able to get it down with her teaching me in person but your videos are definitely a close second. I deeply appreciate your teachings. Thank you for giving me a way to connect to my grandma.
Thank you so much for these videos!!! I've been trying to learn crochet for a little while now and with other tutorials i get mixed up, frustrated, and confused too easily. Thanks to you, I finished my first single crochet swatch ever!! very excited to learn new stitches and keep practicing!
Almost 50 in 5 months time and lo and behold, I finally want to learn how to crochet! Glad I found your channel. Such an amazing teacher! Hello from Sydney! 🦋
50 blankets in America would be roughly $5,850, In Australia roughly $8,610 using yarn at $13 here ($19 there)…. Only downside is it’s an expensive ass hobby for me😭
I started trying to teach myself how to crochet this week, and these videos are super helpful and informative! I’m having such a hard time getting through the second loop on this stitch though! I’m trying to keep my patience and just keep reminding myself it’s going to take practice!
This was my issue also! I was skipping to the third stitch. I watched it a couple times and it helps if the stitches aren’t too tight. Tension is key I have learned! Love seeing everyone’s comments! Hello from Ardmore Oklahoma!
Tried other beginners crochet videos but yours are definitely the best. I made so many mistakes and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Watched yours and know exactly what I did. Thank you for teaching us 🤘🏻💜🤘🏻
My best friend and I spontaneously decided to learn how to crochet today, and your videos genuinely helped us learn the basics in only a few short hours- and the process of learning was honestly enjoyable in of itself, rather than infuriating like I’ve heard most people describe it!! I’m sooo excited!! 🤩
This series is the only series that I have been able to clearly understand how to crochet. I can’t tell you how many videos I’ve watched on how to crochet. There have been some lovely creators that have done a good job, but none have been able to explain it in such a way that I could fully and completely understand. Thank you so much for this series! I have watched it over and over again and I keep learning every time I watch. I’m currently working on my first big project. I’m making an oversized throw blanket (5ft wide by 6ft long). I’m using a treble crochet (US double crochet) for the blanket stitch and so far it’s turning out beautifully. You are so talented and an absolute Angel. Thank you again for this amazing series and taking the time to teach so many of us how to do a dying art.
Ahh thank you so much that means so much, I'm glad that they have helped you. Good luck with your throw, I would love to see a photo when it's finished :)
Thank you so much for these videos! A stranger on FB recommended your channel after I posted my crappy third small attempt at crocheting. Your videos are so easy to follow and I'm hoping to become more adept over the coming days and weeks.
THANK YOU for teaching me how to crochet! I'm 45 years old and could never figure it out despite trying on multiple occasions prior to watching your videos! I'm working on my first project after practicing for the last week and it's coming along beautifully! You're amazing!

I’ve tried learning to crochet probably three times, and I’ve mastered the single/double stitch in one day, thanks to you!! 🤩 I feel inspired to keep going and I’m so excited! Thank you!
Thanks to you I learned to crochet. Now Im making baby clothes, amigurumis, and a lot of cool stuff. God bless you for you and others creators. Now I love to crochet.
Here I am 2022 summer bored out of my mind then my grandma gives me these crochet hooks. Me trying to learn crochet from a book when I meet your AMAZING videos. Super easy to follow. Thanks
The way you explain and show the process is so understandable, not to fast and not too slow, very clear instructions! And i like listening to your voice. I cant wait to begin!
Finally becoming a grandma and thought how lovely it would be for me to crochet a blanket for the baby. Your videos are so easy to follow and understand thankyou
I have always wanted to learn to crochet!! I’m 57 and am hoping that I can finally learn. I appreciate all the comments…that is making me feel like it’s not too late for me to start!!
It's never too late to learn, just remember that its practice and patience so the more you do the easier it will become, good luck and let me know how you get on :)
Ha I’m loving it. I’m practising each thing every week. So this week is this and next week I will watch another video and do that and so on 👍🏻 you’re a great teacher, Thankyou xx
Thanks for your easy to follow videos. I have learnt to crochet this weekend thanks to your clear steps. Something even my gran couldn't achieve! Hopefully with lots of practice, my squares will end up as perfect as yours one day. Thank you.
I just bought my crochet materials yesterday night, and I was able to learn and get used to single crochet yesterday for only 2 hours! and now today I've learned all kinds of stitches, I just have to practice more and more until I'm ready to make my first project! your tutorials are really easy to pick up, and I'm really glad you created this video, it's very helpful! thank you!
I decided to start crochet month ago. Went over many channels. Your is only channel that helped me and inspired me❤ so simple and clear explanation❤❤❤ thank u so so much
I started practicing how to crochet two days ago with the help of you videos and I have the us single stitch down now I’m working on this technique and i have to admit its a bit more difficult but I know I’ll get it with your lessons so thank you
A friend recommended these videos to me after I sent her a what did I do wrong photo of some very wonky practice. These are the first ones ive seen that I can actually follow and understand clearly. I had tried books but they were confusing.. im not getting as frustrated now and i have finally crocheted a decent little square. Thank you so much for the wonderful videos . Everything is so well explained! My stepmom taught me years ago when I was a kid and I forgot how so im starting over and relearning everything. Im excited about learning more! (Also for someone with ADHD these videos are highly recommended as you make them very easy to focus on which is difficult when trying to learn something new)
I’m just sitting here watching without any materials, I think that’s been part of my difficulty. Thank you for so patiently explaining the steps. I’ve wanted to crochet ever since I was a little girl, my grandmother was so good at it. She, however was not good at teaching her left handed grand daughter, and became exasperated with me during my first lesson, and sent me home in tears. (We lived across the street) I was 6-7 years old. Now I’m 54 and really can’t believe I’m “too stupid to get it” I mean, I drive a car and EVERYTHING!
Thank you so much! I've been knitting for years now, and I always wanted to learn crochet, but I always got confused right after chaining, so I just stuck with knitting. I'm so excited that I actually learnt two stitches in one evening and I'm very motivated to learn more. Thanks again for these great videos!
I started crocheting last week and you have made this process so much easier. All your instructions are clear and it’s made everything so much more enjoyable🤍
I’ve been trying to learn to crochet on and off for years. After watching your videos on my tv I have the US single and double down! My mamaw is very impressed 😂
Glad I found you…as a beginner, it was difficult to find a v in the first chain for second row,,,instead you used top stitch…thank you it’s not set in stone. Will continue to practice. I’m in the US so appreciate you stating the name of stitches…it pays to search techniques for the most understandable. I have a kit afghan and I need to be comfortable and downright perfect 🙏🏽🙋🏻♀️👍🏽
Thank you so much. For the past month I've struggled to pick up crochet, cue multiple tantrums and unfortunately a broken needle 😢 but I've watched this video this afternoon and I can do it!!! You're amazing, thank you for taking the time to post this, step by step. I didn't think I could do it. ❤
Hiii, I've been watching your videos from episode one to three and I love it all, thank you for clear instructions keep it up! Thank you! I HOPE I'LL LEARN CROCHET 😭🌼
Just ordered my first crochet kit after watching the first part. Wish me luck guys! Btw your vids are amazing... love the way you teach us, slow yet smooth.
You do such a great job at explaining everything! I have been struggling with crocheting for months maybe even years to be honest ha. I have given up many a times from frustration. No matter how many tutorials I watched I just couldn't grasp it. I knit and everyone always tells me since I chose that, crochet will always be harder to learn.... Im not sure if that stuck in my brain and made me feel I couldn't. But Im so glad I came across your videos, because now I can!! Thanks for the tutorials!!!
I have crippling anxiety and I was told Crochet is almost therapeutic in relaxing. I got my ball of yarn and some hooks! Im already frustrated because I cant count stitches 😂
i also have crippling anxiety (and other mental illness lol) and im working on active coping mechanisms so i picked up crochet! I also cannot count stitches for the life of me even when I use a stitch counter (I forget to click the counter lmao) so I just eyeball it and undo it if it looks wrong lol.
I’ve been crocheting with my fingers at any opportunity for a couple days (which is not much bc of school) and I’m getting a hook tomorrow. I’m so excited!
Hi Sarah Jane, I’m just taking up Crochet for the first time since being a child and appreciate your easy to follow instructions. I’ve also had a look at some of your videos on various types of crochet, they look quite beautiful and inspiring. Thank you
I used to crochet TONS as a kid with my mom many many years ago. Wanted to get back into it for the last year+. As others have said (1) your videos are truly the only Beginner videos I have found. They are easy to follow and your explanations are very clear. I might have to go back and rewatch multiple times but I eventually get it. (2) I am making some "wonky" squares but you motivate me to keep trying and retrying. I am forcing myself to only make several small practice squares for now until I really have the hang of it so at some point I feel confident working on a full project. Thank you!
This made me understand it much more my friend tried to explain the best way she could, but it did not go but now I understand it much more and beginner am going to try to start once I get the thing I need. Thank you so much I am very existed to start! I can't thank you anymore, but I am very thankful that I got what I need to know as a beginner.
I've tried to follow along with several different ppl on here but you are very expletive and I find it very easy to follow along with you. I just started 2 weeks ago and I've never gotten as far as I did today. Thank you so much. Needless to say, I've subscribed to your page and I look forward to learning more with you 😊
Thank you! I want to teach my daughter to crochet, but she’s nearly 6… so I think I need to learn first myself. I bought a loom and honestly, it’s a frustrating nightmare. This makes so much more sense. I was about to give up but I am getting it with your videos!
After trying 20 times, I finally got to finish a nice square with video #2 and now I'm going for the same for this one. I've done and undone the first part of the video and I keep trying. I'm 36, greetings from Uruguay!
Hi 👋 iam 12 and I started doing crochet 8 months before but stopped for some days then I saw your videos and I was motivated again now I started it again ..................thanks for motivating us
Wow ! It's my first time doing this crochet . I always wanted to learn but I thought it's very difficult , but by seeing your crochet , " I thought I can do it. Thank u for this video 🙂
Thank you for making these videos so clear and easy to follow! I’ve been so confused about the terminology and figuring out what is what, and it also makes it harder as all the stitches have very different names in Norwegian as well. But watching your videos makes it a lot clearer and easier.
Finally a video where I feel like I can do this❤ thank you for your very straight forward video I watched so many and was about to cancel my order of the yarns and hooks because they were so confusing and fast but watching you I feel like i can do it
Wow your tutorials are amazing so easy to follow. This is the third one I've watched. I had previously attempted crochet twice before and given up .your videos really got me there I just kept watching if I made a mistake I just undid my work and tried again until I got it. I can now do chain and single crochet stitches and that's thanks to you. Can't thank you enough. Working on the double today.
I had been so intimidated by starting crochet, but i'm amazed by how fast i've picked it up thanks to your videos! (also every time i yarn over i say it to myself in an english accent LOL)
I really appreciate your efforts on this series.. it has really helped me in the crochet journey and your videos has been really easy to follow for a beginner like me who has never even touched the yarn before. I can't thank you enough😊
i have been wanting to crochet for a while and i had found so many tutorials that werent super beginner friendly since the rushed through it and didnt explain. you however take the time to explain and you go slow when you demonstrate which makes it easy to "copy" for lack of a better word. my mom sent me the first video in the series and ive never gotten something down faster! well at least not stuff like crochet. Thank you for teaching me. cant wait to finish this series (P.S. i have some other series im going to after i practice more)
I'm so glad to be a part of your crochet journey, remember that crochet is practice and patience so the more you do the easier it will become, good luck and let me know how you get on :)
I have know learned how you change colors and do single stitch and double, I'm so excited. 😁 thank you so much!! I'm totally going to continue with your videos. I appreciate it!
Thanks for the great videos Bella! I've been knitting for a little bit, but wanted to try crocheting and your videos have gotten me absolutely hooked! The quality is great, explanations are clear and I love the colour of your yarn for demos

Wow I’m 13 and started crocheting not that long ago and my parents keep making fun of me, calling me grandma 🤣🤣 it’s fine tho

`love these tutorials - I have learnt to crochet from scratch in an afternoon- not well, but its a start. Really clear instruction, thank you
You're very welcome and well done :)
I know this is old but in one day I've made 2 swatches lol
i just started learning crochet today with your first two lessons and i made three wobbly little squares but i'm so excited lmao
That is brilliant well done, keep practicing and it will get easier and you will get better :)

You are very welcome :)
Ha I’m loving it. I’m practising each thing every week. So this week is this and next week I will watch another video and do that and so on 👍🏻 you’re a great teacher, Thankyou xx
You are very welcome and good luck with your crochet journey, remember that crochet is practice and patience :)
Thanks for your easy to follow videos. I have learnt to crochet this weekend thanks to your clear steps. Something even my gran couldn't achieve! Hopefully with lots of practice, my squares will end up as perfect as yours one day. Thank you.
You are very welcome :)
i learned how to crochet in 2 days thanks to your tutorials!! thank you so much
You are very welcome :)
I just bought my crochet materials yesterday night, and I was able to learn and get used to single crochet yesterday for only 2 hours! and now today I've learned all kinds of stitches, I just have to practice more and more until I'm ready to make my first project! your tutorials are really easy to pick up, and I'm really glad you created this video, it's very helpful! thank you!
You are very welcome :)
I decided to start crochet month ago. Went over many channels. Your is only channel that helped me and inspired me❤ so simple and clear explanation❤❤❤ thank u so so much
I started practicing how to crochet two days ago with the help of you videos and I have the us single stitch down now I’m working on this technique and i have to admit its a bit more difficult but I know I’ll get it with your lessons so thank you
You are very welcome and remember that crochet is practice and patience :)
(Also for someone with ADHD these videos are highly recommended as you make them very easy to focus on which is difficult when trying to learn something new)
You are very welcome :)
You helped me get single stitch down and the first line thank you. Can’t wait for this next one
You are very welcome :)
Your instructional videos are the absolute best. Fantastic job.
Thank you so much, I'm glad that they have helped you :)
I have just learned that I can sort of crochet within an hour.
All thanks to your videos.
I'm so glad that they are helping you, and remember that crochet is practice and patience :)
I’ve really learnt a lot just today I made up my mind to do crochet thank you so much Mrs Bella ❤ from Nigeria 🇳🇬
You are so very welcome :)
You have to remember that crochet is practice and patience so don't give up, keep trying and it will get easier :)
Thank you so much! I've been knitting for years now, and I always wanted to learn crochet, but I always got confused right after chaining, so I just stuck with knitting. I'm so excited that I actually learnt two stitches in one evening and I'm very motivated to learn more. Thanks again for these great videos!
You are very welcome :)
I started crocheting last week and you have made this process so much easier. All your instructions are clear and it’s made everything so much more enjoyable🤍
I love how great you are at giving instructions. Very helpful! I'm an absolute beginner and I love your channel. ❤️
Thank you so much :)
@@bellacococrochet you're most welcome! Gotta watch more of your vids. 😊
Thanks for creating this great series!
You're so welcome xx
I’ve been trying to learn to crochet on and off for years. After watching your videos on my tv I have the US single and double down! My mamaw is very impressed 😂
Well done :)
Hey, I'm a guy trying to learn this so I can make some cool stuff for my wife. I just think crochet & macrame are so cool ....
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you for your clear and easy to follow instructions - I made a hair scrunchie using treble crochet and it turned out really good! Thank you ❤
You are very welcome :)
Im gonna take classes tomorrow and im really excited i randomly found this channel it it helped me understand a lot tysm!
You are welcome and good luck :)
You are very welcome and well done for not giving up, keep practicing and it will get easier :)
Hello Miss Coco. I just want to thank you for your videos. You're the only youtuber, whose videos helped me actually get how to crochet.
You are very welcome and I am so glad that they have been of help to you :)
Hiii, I've been watching your videos from episode one to three and I love it all, thank you for clear instructions keep it up! Thank you! I HOPE I'LL LEARN CROCHET 😭🌼
You are welcome and good luck with your crochet journey :)
Just ordered my first crochet kit after watching the first part. Wish me luck guys! Btw your vids are amazing... love the way you teach us, slow yet smooth.
Thank you and remember that crochet is practice and patience so keep trying and it will get easier :)
You are very welcome :)
I have crippling anxiety and I was told Crochet is almost therapeutic in relaxing. I got my ball of yarn and some hooks! Im already frustrated because I cant count stitches 😂
Wow guys
Crazy people 🤣👆🏾
You can buy a stitch counter!
i also have crippling anxiety (and other mental illness lol) and im working on active coping mechanisms so i picked up crochet! I also cannot count stitches for the life of me even when I use a stitch counter (I forget to click the counter lmao) so I just eyeball it and undo it if it looks wrong lol.
I feel personally attacked by this 😂
Just started to crochet and was told about your videos today. Thank you for the detailed instructions. 😅
I've been crocheting with my fingers for ages, just decided to buy some hooks and wow it's so much less fiddly than using my fingers!!
I’ve been crocheting with my fingers at any opportunity for a couple days (which is not much bc of school) and I’m getting a hook tomorrow. I’m so excited!
wow i cant imagine how difficult that must have been to do it with your fingers-
@@endlessdreaming4244 it's not too difficult tbh, the key is to use really thick wool so you dont have huge gaps between your stitches
@@emmylynperkeroid7843 ohhh ok that makes sense
Loved this video am 61 and refreshing but still pretty much a beginner! Also shared this with my 11 year old grandaughter who is just beginning also.
Glad it was helpful :)
Thank you so much for this video! I've finally got a grip how to crochet properly so my work doesn't get smaller or bigger as it progresses.
You're very welcome :)
Hi Sarah Jane, I’m just taking up Crochet for the first time since being a child and appreciate your easy to follow instructions. I’ve also had a look at some of your videos on various types of crochet, they look quite beautiful and inspiring. Thank you
You are very welcome :)
Thank you!
You are very welcome and well done for not giving up :)
This made me understand it much more my friend tried to explain the best way she could, but it did not go but now I understand it much more and beginner am going to try to start once I get the thing I need. Thank you so much I am very existed to start! I can't thank you anymore, but I am very thankful that I got what I need to know as a beginner.
You are very welcome and remember that crochet is practice and patience so the more you do the easier it will become :)
Fantastically clear instructions. I'm a beginner and struggle with the end stitches, but you explain them very thoroughly.
I'm glad that they were helpful :)

Thank you! I want to teach my daughter to crochet, but she’s nearly 6… so I think I need to learn first myself. I bought a loom and honestly, it’s a frustrating nightmare. This makes so much more sense. I was about to give up but I am getting it with your videos!
You are very welcome, what a lovely idea. Let me know how you get on :)
After trying 20 times, I finally got to finish a nice square with video #2 and now I'm going for the same for this one. I've done and undone the first part of the video and I keep trying. I'm 36, greetings from Uruguay!
Good luck and remember that crochet is practice and patience :)

Thank you for making these videos so clear and easy to follow! I’ve been so confused about the terminology and figuring out what is what, and it also makes it harder as all the stitches have very different names in Norwegian as well. But watching your videos makes it a lot clearer and easier.
You are very welcome :)
Thank you so much for making crochet for absolute beginners, your videos are clear and well informed that I’m looking forward to start crochet 🧶
You're very welcome :)

Started to learn crochet again after giving up 6 years ago. Thanks for the pointers and very clear explanation 😭😭😭
You are very welcome :)
I followed the first two videos and made a scarf. Took me forever to learn but I didn’t give up. Never done this before.
Well done :)
I really appreciate your efforts on this series.. it has really helped me in the crochet journey and your videos has been really easy to follow for a beginner like me who has never even touched the yarn before. I can't thank you enough😊
You are very welcome, I'm so glad that they are helping you on your crochet journey :)
i have been wanting to crochet for a while and i had found so many tutorials that werent super beginner friendly since the rushed through it and didnt explain. you however take the time to explain and you go slow when you demonstrate which makes it easy to "copy" for lack of a better word. my mom sent me the first video in the series and ive never gotten something down faster! well at least not stuff like crochet. Thank you for teaching me. cant wait to finish this series (P.S. i have some other series im going to after i practice more)
I'm so glad to be a part of your crochet journey, remember that crochet is practice and patience so the more you do the easier it will become, good luck and let me know how you get on :)
@@bellacococrochet Thank you I haven't had a whole lot of time to practice the past couple days but i will definantly let you know :)
