Todays video is super exciting! We finally did the cutting that was necessary to clear the 295/70/17 and honestly it was pretty easy until my dad melted the diamond wheel lol.
I hope you guys love the look of the truck as much as I do, ugh I just looks sooooooo good! I am very happy with how it turned out and although we aren't done with the modifications to stop ALL the rubbing right now its good to daily :).

Setup looks great!! Very impressed with the rims and tires combo! One of the best I’ve seen! Trust me, I’ve seen a lot. I have 2019 TRD Pro Team Voodoo! Lol
Thank you! Means a lot. Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
Nice! For 35's and lifts: I recommend Dobinsons MMR's with resi's all around and a 2" body lift from a company out in New Zealand! This is a buy once cry once type of investment! Seriously! Take care!
SHEEESH 295s! That is crazy love the how the truck is coming out, keep up the great work!
Thank you! 🤙🏼
Truck is coming together nicely. Keep going. Look forward to what you have planned in the future.
What?!? Mumfy just saw and commented on my video?!? 😧 ahh this is awesome lol and thank you! I watch all your vids 😁
Try to see if you can get the caster pushed forward you’ll get some good extra space with rubbing
Definitely will look into this, thanks for advice! Roof rack ? Hmmm 😉
You could also tell the alignment shop to move your caster forward.
Bruh, you're a bad boy
I've only seen a couple of videos and I am intrigued. I want to see what the future of your taco entails.
Looks badass 👍🏼
Thank you! 🤙🏼
Mule in issaquah Washington did my body mount chop and was only $300 and they also cleared out pitch wel
Sweet looking truck!!
2 questions: what headlights are those? And what part of Washington you in??
Subbed!
They are the 16-21 projector style headlights with sequential turn signals. I got them off of Tacomabeast. Im towards the southeastern part of the state close to the Oregon border.
looks awesome monica 😊
Thank you!
KDMAX TUNE IT GIRL!!!
I’m the works 🤙🏼😈
Nice looking taco. I could of went with a taco instead of my canyon
What brand lugs nuts do you have?
They’re summit off road lug nuts
It’s not in your mind, it really does look great! 😂
One thing you got it wrong when you went for bigger tires before the suspension. Suspension should the very first upgrade when you are putting that big of a tire to get more clearance. Would've saved you all the unnecessary cutting. All you need is a Pinch weld & BMC (Body mount chop). Good job anyways!
Also grinder from harbor freight is only $10.
I know now lol good learning process for sure. Definitely going to look into that grinder. Thank you! 🤙🏼
I highly suggest going for Dobinsons. They are established & highly respected by offroaders worldwide. Also check SPC adjustable upper control arms so you can maximize your caster. What is your wheel specs? I think you very aggressive offset
@@Threedaysextension my wheel specs are 17x9 -25 offset. Yeah I’ve done a little research on dobinson, one of the UA-camrs I follow actually installed that kit on his Tacoma.
Nice ride cousin.
Haha 🤙🏼
I’m in Moses Lake
Are those tires on stock suspension as of the time of the video? I know you mentioned you wanted a new set up in the video but not sure what you’re running on the truck in the video. Truck looks dope!
No the truck has about a 2.5 inch lift at the time of the video.
@@BSTYTCO3 thank you! Love the truck
How much power loss? Do you think it’s worth going 295?
Don’t know exact numbers but I did lose a little bit of power, but I ended up getting a pedal commander that helped, and then eventually tuned my Tacoma.
KD Max tune would be awesome vid.
Yes I agree! Will definitely look into it.
So many people in Oregon or Washington that will do the BMC and pinch weld cut
Yes! I was finally able to find a professional shop to do the bmc.
Is that a fast back in the garage if yes do they sell it
That poor mustang in the garage though 😢
Gotta get a roof rack!
Whats the offset on those rims ? That suspension they installed at the dealer .. did it have a lift or its just upgraded to better struts with no lift .. reason Im asking is cuz imma install a 3” suspension on mine and those 295’s look sick with them yoko geos .. truck is coming together just dope
Thank you! It’s a lift but currently at a 2.5 inch lift. The offset is -25. I do plan on upgrading the suspension really soon and I’ll be sitting at a 3 inch lift.
Do you have spacers in the rear in this video or is that just the -25 offset? Also what width is the tires, 12.5?
Yes there is spacers in the rear along with the -25 offset. My tires are 295/70/17
Is this -38 offset ?
-25
Did you have a leveling kit to fit your 295/70/17 your taco looks good
I do not have a leveling kit. I’m running eibach struts in the front at a 2.5 lift and toytec in the rear. Thank you!
Quit 1/2 stepping and just put a 6 inch lift on it, then start chopping your fender wells up. It less cutting that way, and in the end you save money... if you're not a hardcore rock crawler put a rough country 6 inch on it and be happy 35's fit that pretty damn good
Did you have to upgrade your UCAs for the 6 inch lift?
@@alexalvarez9462 it definitely recommended on almost every board, but I couldn't tell ya, I'll be adding another 2 inches on my lift after the holidays guess I'll find out. I do know with 4" & more it help the alignment a good bit and helps give the caster you need for a good ride... but I have the 4" right now and my uca's are stock
@@shanemartinson5006 thx man been looking at those RCs
What offset do you have
-25
Did you use wheel spacers to get that offset or just the wheels themselves??
Wheels themselves are -25 offset plus I have a 1.25 spacer
Do you have wheel spacers on , just wondering because of the poke and what size wheels and offset do you have..
Yes I do it’s a 1 inch spacer. My wheels are 17x9 -25 offset
@@BSTYTCO3 I'll be upgrading from 17x8.5-0 to a 17x9-12 soon,
I just saw your video. just wondering. is your truck lifted?
Yes it’s a 2.5 lift
Please show wheel and tires when you’re talking about them.
Is that Stock suspension ? If it is that’s amazing that it has that much rub. I think I’m stepping up to the same size tire as well.
Not stock suspension, I have eibach struts in the front and toytec shocks in the rear. This is the “upgraded” suspension the dealership installed.
@@BSTYTCO3 Is there a link for those parts? I am looking to lift mine.
@@111Ronaldinho tacomabeast.com/products/toyota-tacoma-eibach-pro-truck-suspension-lift-system these are the struts I have. I’d actually do this kit honestly so you have eibach all the way around. And you could get up to 3 inches of lift and it’s affordable 🤙🏼
Sliders make terrible steps because even flat sliders are too high up and you have to fold yourself in half as you get in otherwise you end up too high up. That’s part of why the nerf bars are dropped like that…
Unless you’re a bridge gnome sliders won’t work well.
Definitely a bridge gnome 😂
@@BSTYTCO3 haha
How much offset?
-25
Do U have Spacers or just different offsets rims for the poke ?
I have spacers, and my wheels are -25 offset
@@BSTYTCO3 🤔-25. That really helps. I got a 3.5 inch lift. So I wanna see what will rub and what won’t. Thanks !
Anything bigger than a 285 without spacers you’ll most likely rub on the cab mount and pinch weld.
@@BSTYTCO3 ahh gotcha gotcha ! Appreciate it!!
what's the specs on the rims you have on?
17x9 -25 offset
What inch lift do you have?
It’s currently at 2 maybe 2 1/4. The aftermarket suspension was added by the Toyota dealership and that’s as much as they would lift it. Haven’t had a chance to see if I could get more lift from it.
Rock sliders
What's the offset on those wheels!?
They are 17x9 -25 offset 🔥🔥🔥
Are you from Walla?
😁👍🏼
@@BSTYTCO3 I used to live in Milton I stay in Pasco now. Lmk when you go to the mountains need more ppl to join.
@@davidestrada8944 okay bet! Follow me on IG so we can plan something. Someone else from tri just hit me up too.
Save your money
Bed rack 🤷♂️
What’s your IG? I didn’t see it, diggin the build

If you didn't already install 35's check out "The Wonder Taco" on UA-cam, ( Oct. 2021) if you're planning on installing 35"s, i
Thank you I will do that! 😁
Is this is girl or guy
This Girl
Bust that mustang out!! My god, sell it or get it restored, poor classic car!
Lol not yet. And yea I know it looks bad having it covered like that but it’s been in our family for years and it needs work before she runs again.
