@88rotors wanted to give u props for pumping out these vids and showing us different angles on the whips. Having experience in production, it’s not easy to do it as consistently as u guys do.
We've done that size with a chop as well. Same clearance. Personally, I prefer the 295's. The 285/75/17's look good from the side but too narrow for my taste from the front or the back. That's my personal opinion though, but we've done both.
So I have a Tacoma 2018 I put OME heavy duty suspension gave me 2.5 lift also I did cab mount chop and I have upc and front and rear clearance arb bumper... can I fit 295 without robbing???
I have a TRD sport 2020 with 285/70/17's and a 3" x 2" lift but still rub in the front. I don't want to trim anything. What can I do to lift the front a little to prevent rubbing? Would a Bilstein shock up front lift it any? If so what shock would do it?
Great job with the videos. When you are able, will shoot a rear shot of two tacomas side by side comparing 285/70/17's and 295/70/17's? It's helpful to see the differences. Also, what is a fair quote for a BMC?
Hey D, After 265s, any wider, the sidewall actually increases. It’s the geometry on the tire widths that requires increase of the height. Give or take, add another inch tire width size you keep adding up. So a 275 would me an inch taller than 265 so 285 would be almost 2 inches taller. Every manufacture makes different tread depth so it will vary

Thank you!
It's amazing what a lift and nice wheels will do for a truck, great work
It’ll rub when he off-roads though. And in a few years he’s going to need new cv axles, hopefully with more articulation.
Ken and Team @ 88Rotors. My Taco turned out great. Love the 295 set up You guys did great work
GDAM Monkey was the cab mount chop enough to allow no rubbing even while turned and stuffing a tire?
I was thinking to get 285/70/17 on my tacoma 2019, will it rub?..
You do so many of these 3 inch lift tacomas. Whats your standard alignment specs that you sent them to? 0 Camber, 0 Toe, +2.5 caster?
What is the total price for that job and where are they located?
Do you have to do the cab mount chop with a 3.5” lift to fit the 295/70r17’s?
Beautiful!!!
That's a nice tacoma with the kings.
Frank Bailey thank you sir. It turned out great
Wow beautiful lift !!!!
Great video! Can you make 35s work without rubbing?
Yes, search our channel. We have a few Tacomas on 35's. 3.5" lift & 6" lifts with 35's.
So you did a CMC and a lower pinch weld cut for the 295s?
Will you 100 percent rub on 295/70/17 if you dont get the body mount chop?
On the first silver tacoma what number of spring you used to bring up to 3" please advise
Would you have more of a problem clearing 285/75/17 vs the 295/70/17 or would it be a about the same?

@@88ROTORS I just bought a new trd off-road. With a 3in lift, is a chop required for 285/75/17? Yes, I will be off-roading.

So can the 295s fit w only the cmc and pich weld? Or do the uca's need to be replaced?
Anyone know what step rails he's running on that grey tacoma with the 295s?
How much is a set up with that kings shocks?

4 degree of caster

How much lift was on the 295s?
do you need a regear for this?
Will 295/70/18 rub if I have a leveling kit?
Could a 295/70/17 fit on a Tacoma with a 3” lift combined with a 1” body lift? So basically a 4” lift.
Yes, but you dont need the body lift. Just do a 3 inch and a BMC.
What are the prices for these lifts?
What coil was used on the first taco?
Are 295 considered 33s I get confused
