I played GTA Online from 2013 to around 2018/2019. I was there for the Beach Bum update! I loved the simple, wild west feeling of the early days and couldn't get enough of it it. I am not much of an online gamer but I loved it. They started adding more and more expansions to it and I thought that was great. I made a solid crew of friends in the game, I put in like 2000 hours into it roughly. The tipping point for me was when they started adding in stupid stuff like the Oppressors and flying Deloreans. At that point they jumped the shark. Every lobby was just full of Oppressors flying around and blowing stuff up. It got too silly and the cost of everything in game was absurd. Shame Rockstar had to ruin a good thing but hey ho, there's more to life than videogames.

Even with the introduction of the Oppressors and flying Deloreans, I think the game is still good, but can understand the lack of desire to want to play. Those vehicles are very OP and 100% changed the landscape of the game.
I've been playing since day 1. Now i don't really play much. I got tired of r* making the missions much harder and needlessly longer. I glitched tons of money after buying shark cards and getting reset. What held me over for awhile, is PVP in free roam. But now nobody genuinely fights. Nobody dogfights, and it usually feels like I'm in a lobby full of bots.

I agree, though, Rockstar making missions longer is tedious and can make them more of a chore. I don't really have an issue with them making them harder, as long as the cash reward is there and well balanced with the time/effort you put in.
I only play when businesses go on double money. Honestly? Just because I want to. I have enough GTA$ and doesn't feel like there is much else to do. I don't think I've completed a Cayo Perico heist in nearly 2 years even lol.

i still play gta online because i finally got a pc that can run it (its not special i get about 27 fps most of the time) and yes i grind money but i like the game still, very much
@@michaelgrimes9942 I still play on console and yeah I like the grind aspect of it. Just seeing my money go up in game is enough to keep me coming back to it. Grinding money, while listening to a podcast 👌
@@michaelgrimes9942 The game only felt playable to me after the 60fps upgrade came out for ps5. Ps4 slim was running it too choppy with all the content they cramped into it.

Gta online is very immersive the radio and driving has me hooked I jus play the clickin bell raid and spin the wheel at the casino

I like to steal cars and stuff mostly, but also I like doing different sell mission things. I try to do the acid lab deliveries every day.
