This video, the collection of artworks, is one of my favourites. It is very interesting to hear of your observations of most of the pieces,as always you have a captivating voice ❤🎉😊❤
I love your videos. They’re my favorite. I learn a lot, you have great taste, and the vibe is honest, cool and your voice is so soothing, no hype. So yeah, love love
Well these Elizabeth Schwaiger (?) paintings were certainly worth venturing out on a cold day to see! New to me.When you think of how difficult it is to find subject matter and then realize it's under your nose. She orders the surface assuredly but as you point out there is a hint of disorder. Stay warm.
My favourite was the group show, I'll have to go on their website to see more. And sorry, I have to mention your outfit. You're always stylin' but I love your bundled up for the cold look, with the big muffs a wonderful final touch. Very cool, very "stylin'" as the kids like to say. The kids don't say that? Whatever. It makes me want to go out for a cold weather walk, except here in Toronto it's plus 4, so not exactly cold. But I'm going out for a walk anyway, just without the muffs. As always, thank you for your posts, always enjoy them.
Wow! Love all of them but the last artist...Guidi, "bet 'ya by golly WOW..."Knocked it outta 'duh ...Park...well, in this case, the Gallery! Thank you for braving the elements...reminds me of a line from aPaul Simon song, The Boxer'..."where the New York City winters aren't bleeding me, leading me home, going home..."Walk on air against yer better judgement" Thanks again.
Thanks again Mary. Only by using logic we can see that the Schwaiger paintings are representative. If we set aside some of that logic they become abstracts. They tease the brain. Great works and those brushstrokes! Confident, direct and simple but as a whole become complex.
Elizabeth Schwaiger is fantastic. Does anyone see a touch of Matisse and Raoul Duffy influence? I think they enhance her work and she makes it her own. Really enjoyed as usual Marylynn.
I liked the Jennifer Guidi work @ the 13-minute mark. Everything else was, well, let's just say (to use my favorite euphemistic saying)- the art world abhors a vacuum.
So yeah, I agree that some of Schwaiger paintings have a Cecily Brown vibe- especially the orange and black palettes which is really not my cup of tea at all. I don't however see a Dutch master thing. My first thought was loosey -goosey Manet after he knocked down a few absinthe cocktails! Not sure the smaller ones in the back room work on that scale. Having said that this was one of my favorite shows this season. Her technique is really very impressive indeed. The quick, spot on brush work, the limited palette, and almost but not quite rendering of the objects and interiors made for very compelling viewing. I thought the work here was so much better than that pretentious group show at James Cohan. Pace and Marlborough also get my seal of approval. 😊
Mary! ! I invite you to ART MADRID'24 ART FAIR! It will take place from March 6-10 in Madrid, Glass Gallery (Cibeles Palace), where paintings Irina Greciuhina will also be exhibited!
Thanks ,.. great and professional as always... Very interesting, strong in terms of skill, diverse in style and intended perception... I would be extremely interested to know your opinion about my work. I am an artist and I know for sure that I would not get lost in the gallery space of New York ...) PS.. You are gorgeous and very attractive...
I am beginning to dislike Artists that pigeon hole themselves to a style then that's all they do.Gets boring even for an artist. When you look at Picasso Matisse for example they kept changing involving.Today's artists for most part try too hard to have a "brand" look example Guidi thumb imprint etc. Hope she doesn't do that rest of her life....
Thanks for bringing the tour to us and braving the windy cold Mary !
Brilliant as usual
some very beautiful work by all artists!

Thank you.
That looked a cold day, but the sun definitely came out at the end with those Guidi paintings. Thank you.

Thank you as always. I really really love the Guidi pieces.
Great video, thanks for braving the cold!
New subscriber I absolutely love the paintings presented in your vids capturing such amazing art work at these museums thanks for sharing ❤
I have missed you. So happy to see you sharing all the beauty.
Thank you very much for your passion and efforts!
Really enjoyed your low key approach. No 'the me show'. Just sparse considered words giving essential information. Thank you.
California ,loves you and your show
Yes! Very much!
I saw that Guidi show, really beautiful in person
This was a good one.
Great to see !
Отлично спасибо!!!
Reminds me of the ink blots, Psychiatrists would use on patients. The last paintings were cool though. I like the mountain and the sun painting.
Very Nice.
Thk.

You have such a soft and soothing voice, watch out for the vocal frying. 🩷💯🩷
Mary thank you. But you didn't know that the last part of the video is moving art. Have a great day. Thank you as I smile
They look like modern impressionist paintings. In reference to Elizabeth Schwaiger's paintings.

What mic do you use?? It sounds great!

Why would anyone paint clutter?

Di ludahi hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Why do galleries always go for boring and uninteresting art nowadays? It’s sad to live in this late stage capitalism world.
Which artists did you find boring ? Interesting to know
Speak for yourself. I find most of these artists really exciting!
@@IsThatYouSimon all, first one had a couple of interesting works but overall they’re disappointing
@@ugochukwuahiakwo2616 to clarify I was speaking for two people only, myself and yourself, deal with it
Posh
The discussion of the masses, who do not understand the works of art, has nothing to do with the intention of the creator
Jennifer Guidi is very arrogant artist, I don't like her. 🤣
Sound is awful.
Not good art this time in NewYork ....
In general, the art galleries that you visit very often, it is easier to say, oh, how ugly, instead of saying how nice, how nice! Why?
Because they’re nice. Probably not your taste. But that is okay as well.
When it is ugly oder damaged - it's called modern art (produced for money). Crap..
Nothing to do Is clear that in painting we. Have top art painter and than 2nd 3rd 4th level and so on. The voice of the girl sexy
Hello everyone...
