Thank you in advance!
Once Jonathan says “Go!” - the music after that point makes me want to run through a wall every time, it never gets old
Quite possibly the most underrated yet effective word in all music, from metal to edm.
@Nancy Parker I whole heartedly agree
Some things in music are just inherent.
So u basically turn into the bullet from the video😂
Bro Foreal😭😭
RAH, you had the same reaction that I had when I first heard these guys back in the 90's. Here I am a 52 year old grandpa and I still blast Korn driving down the road. Get some funny looks, but I don't care, I feel their music and I like it.
💯💯
I'm 6 years older than you and a grandmother. Korn is my favorite band.
46 and I'll never turn down KoRn🤘
I started listening to them in '98 when I was 14 years old, I will be 37 in about a month, and still rocking them.
53 and still banging👍
“Is that Jeff Hardy?” Bruh😂😂😂 Cheers from Boston
I busted up laughing. kinda looked like him back in the day 🤣
I could NOT stop laughing, man...
Don't worry.. He's not gonna perform swanton bomb in this video.. 😂
Boston also let's see but I live for Korn
Lol that was so random hahaha!
My man was GROOVING at the end there!! 😂😂 much love man love seeing the reactions
Preciate it dawg 💯💯
This song that made Korn becomes a legend band in their genre....bro
🔥🔥🔥
Yo.. MTV had to "retire" this video on TRL cuz they were kicking the shit out of NSYNC backs door boys and Britney Spears
dude they created the genre.numetal
Korn is pretty heavy for someone new to rock. That being said...Got the life, Word Up, Make Me Bad, Freak On a Leash, Can you hear Me,
Well they are metal arnt they
@@kellybazel9752 nu-metal
I really like Here to Stay.
I've been listening to metal since I was 13 and I consider them pretty heavy. Especially their first album
@@_Professor_Oak still metal
I love when musicians appreciate other genres and take the time to vibe and react to it too, whether it be the music itself, the videos or the band, respect
Part of a genre called Nu Metal. A mixture of rock, metal, rap. A lot of the bands had DJs. You might be familiar with Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park. Some of my favorite songs are Chutes and Ladders, Coming Undone, Right Now
*shoots and ladders
Korn was more Funk Metal.. they definitely are the OG that influenced Nu Metal
@@shawnwesley7140 there nu metal but they have more of a funk influence than hi hop but the beat boxing thing was a bit hip hop
I love a variety of music but Korn is on another level! My first concert was Korn when I was in middle school! Loved it!
A top for me
1- Seed.
2- Pretty.
3- Blame.
4- Here to stay.
5- Dirty.
6- Finally free.
7- B.B.K.
8- Make believe.
9- Bottled up inside.
10- When will this end?
11- Dead bodies everywhere
12- Somebody someone
13- Kill you
14- Fake
15- Here it comes again
16- Last legal drug
17- The ringmaster
18- Hating
19- Wake up
20- Beat it upright
(I tried to make a top 3 but I failed, I love this band so much).
🔥🔥
BLAME
Here to stay hits different when driving😂
Great choice with Seed as #1! When that chorus kicks in, it’s so dam powerful!
Great list! Nice to see some deeper cuts get love!
So the creator of the animated parts is Todd McFarlane. He created the Spawn comics and has worked on quite a few Spiderman projects
🔥🔥🔥
Check out "Narcissistic Cannibal", "Children of the Corn ft. Ice Cube", and "Here to Stay" all by Korn.
But this version: ua-cam.com/video/Ft-7at-gNTU/v-deo.html
I’m from Indiana and have literally loved this band since I was 4. Their very first album was hands down the best album. From front to back every song is incredible.
I was super into Korn when I was a kid and just recently started revisiting their music. Freak on a Leash is hands down my fav but I also really like Trash, Got the Life, and Alone I Break
Freak on a leash
Falling away from me
Got the life
Twisted transistor
Make me bad
Pretty sure the genre is "NuMetal". Far as my favorites by KoRn go, that is a tough one. No order, but here are a few of mine.
1- Shoots and Ladders
2- Dead Bodies Everywhere
3- Creep (cover by Jonathon Davis)
4- Right Now
5- Twisted Transistor
Twist, Get Up, Somebody Someone, Shoots and Ladder's, and Pretty...
They've been around since 1994...
I can sing along to every song!
Impossible to pick favorites
Dude this totally reminds me of people beating on their desks in school. Man way to take me back
I've said it before & I HAVE to say it again...with absolutely NO offense...that I LOVE our African American brother's & sisters' reactions to Korn! 🤘 😎
The animation might look familiar if your into spawn and old school Spiderman comics, Todd mcfarlane did the animation for the video and the album cover.
Spawns one of my favorite shows 🔥
Favorite Korn album was Freak on a Leash ❤ so many bangers on the Album. It was the first Korn album I ever heard and I was hooked! Checking you out from Ft. Myers, Florida
S/o to Florida 🔥🔥
The album is called Follow the Leader?
I'm a black metalhead guy. I've been a metalhead for over a decade. I personally don't like rap, but I'm glad you reacted to Korn. My 3 favorite Korn albums are, Untitled, Serenity of Suffering, and The Nothing.
Can you please react to Korn- Darkness is Revealing
Def can add it to the list bruh 💯💯
@@RAHONLYFAM Thank you!
top korn songs:
coming undone
falling away from me
shoots and ladders
twist/chi (live)
clown
Yeah man, Korn.... Got The Life
That "GO!" has been living rent free in my head for like, hrrm, 19ish years? Think I was around 14 when I first found Korn. ( 06:01 )
Comes to mind every time I hear or think the word "go."
I love watching young people react to tempo changes! Music used to do that.
Bro glad you catching up. Im old enough to remember when these albums came out. Changed my whole view on music
KoRn forever
Good reaction brother! I just subscribed. Some of Korn's best songs are "Got the life", "Falling away from me" and "Twisted Transistor". Cheers!
Preciate u💯💯
Listened to this song thousands of times and every time it still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand , such a great track
"When he wasn’t sayin nothin he was sayin a lot" yes! Great reaction!!
You noticed the bass breakdown after the first chorus. I am so happy to be subscribed.
I love All the Korn albums! I was born in '91 and this was one of few bands I got access to, but went to as a young teen. They are ICONIC!!
Check out their song "Chi" its badass. Actually, all of em are 😂
Nu-Metal is the genre, Korn and Slipknot are abt all that's left.
I wouldn't call Slipknot nu metal, and the Deftones are still a thing, Rage has a tour lined up, ect. So?
@@Hhhjam1975 Yes Slipknot is Nu Metal. They're just Extreme Nu Metal, because of their Extreme Metal influences, such as Death Metal and Thrash Metal.
@@thesabbath483 no. Slipknot is not nu metal. They are metalcore.
I have also heard them referred to as New wave of American metal, along with Lamb of God
@Mitchell Horn look at the genre definition, now compare them. Closer than you think there bud.
Devine by Korn it the song that changed my perspective in life, because I was tired of being talked down to when I knew in my heart I was better than that. Devine changed my life direction so to say in a really good way .
Great reaction and welcome to Nu Metal. Jonathan Davis (vocalist who also plays like 8 different instruments) does some really interesting and unique things with his voice.
Greetings from Florida (born there), NC (raised there), and Michigan (my current residence).
Watching hip hop heads listen and react old skool Korn is the best. They're so unique and for me only listening to hip hop back in the day are literally the one band that got me into metal. This band did such a great job messing with genres especially including hip hop influence. So for me, seeing these new reaction vids is like me hearing Korn for the first time in 1998.
I'm from Louisiana and the first KORN album is my favorite... BLIND, A.D.I.D.A.S., ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL, DIVINE, HELMET IN THE BUSH OR MU TOP 5 SONGS BY KORN
Hey bud. Sam here, I'm from Orillia, Ontario, Canada. Been listening to KoRn since '99 and my favorite album would probably have to be "Issues". Thanks for the upload man, it's always nice to see people branching out into different music.
If only we had a pause button on music videos back in the day lol - we had to sit down, be quiet, and take it all in before the bus showed up or the poptarts were ready, etc. Great review video!!
Ayeee my boi hit that drop perfect.
And didnt even know it was coming 🙌🏼🙌🏼🤘🏼
1. Blind (album or live at Woodstock)
2. It's On
3. Falling Away from me
4. Here to Stay
5. Got the Life
it's their older stuff, but it's still good. just like this song right here 👍
I love hearing him play those bagpipes..different song.all goid.
🔥🔥
1. Blind
2. falling away from me
3. here to stay
4. shoots and ladders
5. clown
Bakersfield, California represent!
Another one of our 'local' bands that blew up during this time... if only for this time, lol... was Adema.
They got the name because they are from Bakersfield, CA. Korn was some kind of urban legend story. There's alot of corn fields in that city as well
Korn is dope as hell seen them Live 4 times...best songs: Here to Stay, I did my Time, Never, Never, Narcissistic Cannibals, Politics.
This was in my recommended bc they're one of my favorite bands. [YOU DO NOT WANT THE ANSWER TO WHY THEY NAMED THE BAND KORN]. (TRUST ME). 😂
Your genuine reaction put a smile on my face dude, good shit.
Dude the reason they named it Korn is literally normal 😂
@@nickcoolpants4855 So what's the literal reason dude, in YOUR *opinion?*
@@nickcoolpants4855 I see you joined YT 1 year ago. You're not old enough for me to tell you why.
@@Kristina_617 just a new account
@@Kristina_617 When thinking of a band name, someone suggested "corn", but the band rejected that name, so Shaffer had the idea to spell the name with both a "K" instead of a "C", and a backwards "R", so the band's name would appear as "KoЯn".
This reaction came up in my YT feed today... so glad I clicked on it! Love Korn. Awesome reaction!! They bring the groove. Greetings from the SW portion of Missouri. A metal band that's always switching it up & is worth a listen (best live, but they make great videos!) - Avatar (from Sweden). "Hail the Apocalypse" has killer riffs that'll get stuck in your head.
Hi! First video I've seen from you, and I enjoyed it. So, best 3 Korn songs?
1. Blind
2. Got the Life
3. Somebody Someone
Although...... other notable ones might be:
Beg for Me
ADIDAS
Make Me Bad [has an award-winning video]
Glad you liked the sound
“Is that Jeff Hardy?”
I’m fucking dying!!!
Thanks! Good reaction. Music is a universal language. Speak and you will be heard
You definitely need to check out this song but the unplugged with Amy Lee ❤️ coming undone kills it, and adidas!!!
All In The Family. My personal favorite for when I'm feeling an old school dirty metal/rap sound.
Gun to my head, Korn is my favorite band. A top 5 is hard as hell, but here goes nothin...
1. Daddy
2. Kill You
3. Good God
4. Somebody Someone
5. Idiosyncrasy
I dont count daddy as a song and more like Johnathan Davis telling us his story in his own way. So personally it's a story and not a song
Love your taste , I have good god in my top 5 as well 🤘 then it’s
Chi
Ass itch
Ball tongue
Here to stay
Kay it’s extremely hard I do absolutely love their last two albums and issues & follow the leader.. but it is what it is 🤘
NuMetal was my genre, too bad it died quickly. I'm glad some people today are rediscovering it...😁
True BUT!!! Korn has always stayed relatively true to their sound which I SUPER appreciate. Even the newest stuff is still very KORN ykno?
I cosplay as Miss Frizzle, thanks for the Magic Schoolbus shoutout!
Wicked, pop a pill, kidnap the sandy claws (nightmare before Christmas cover), twisted transistor, clown, blind, shoots and Ladders
1.) Falling Away From Me
2.) Coming Undone
3.) Alone I Break
4.) Clown
5.) Rotting in Vain
Trust me this list could go on forever but these are a good few to start with. If you haven't yet, I would NOT suggest reacting to their song "Daddy." A lot of people may request it but just a warning: it's an awesome song but is VERY dark material and will kill your vibe and take a toll on your mood. Just a heads up.
@RAH REACTS If you buy House of 1000 Corpses directed by Rob Zombie dvd, and watch the bonus features, Korn did the synthesizing for that movie. they explain in detail how it can affect the body and mind via sound tones. You can draw people in shut them out and pretty much make them feel anything you want them to feel by tones.
Awesome videos. Got the life is my favorite. Kinda have to listen to a whole album straight through tho to get them. "This loss" is also an amazing song. Keep rocking videos
The "drums" you are hearing is actually the bass player slapping the bass strings
Yo, dope video man!
This song in concert is insanity.
Always loved Korn. Hello from North Carolina..new subscriber here!
My favorite album is their first. Guitar tone is insane
Bru just wanted to say I loved your korn reaction it was awesome
Top 3 Korn Songs:
Got the Life
Falling Away From Me
Coming Undone
Love Jonathan’s scat/beatbox mix he does. (Check out their song Twist)
to check out (hard to limit to 5)
1) Thoughtless
2) Adidas
3) Blind
4) Cold
5) Fear is a Place to Live
The artist who created Spawn did the animation for this. It always looked familiar to me but never clicked in my brain what it looked similar to.
“Is that Jeff Hardy?!” LOL YESS!!
Bruhh loved this reaction 😂 🔥
If it hasn't been answered yet, about their name: They originally started as L.A.P.D. When they made their first album and sent it off to studios they had a contest in their hometown for name suggestions. Someone said Corn (they're from Bakersfield...lots of farms).
Jonathan Davis (the vocalist) grabbed a pencil, they slapped a K on it to make it a little silly, and JD reversed the R to make it sillier. Then he wrote it with his left hand (he's a righty) so it would look messy.
They scanned it and printed a bunch of stickers up of it and slapped them all over town, stop signs, telephone poles, street signs.
Their first album took off and the name stuck.
It works so perfectly because their music is a mishmash of many different types from metal to funk to hip hop to orchestral to you name it...they borrow from everything. So their name represents that. It wasn't necessarily intentional, it just worked. Like their music.
Their genre is Nu Metal, btw. Many consider Korn as THEE band that popularized metal and made it enjoyable for all.
This has to be my favorite reaction of this song by faaaarrrrr!! As far as my top 3: Thoughtless, Falling Away From Me and Daddy. In this song you get raw, uncut emotion. It’s about abuse and I will warn you it’s tough. But the message is about abuse and being a survivor, it’s one that really got me through the tough years. If you listen to thoughtless, it’s about bullying. All of their songs in some way have a story to tell and it’s why they are my favorite band.
Korn defined a generation! Favorite album - life is peachy, track - wicked
Shoots and ladders, Blind, Did My Time, Good God - Great Korn songs
Awesome reaction!! Def subbing and good luck bro🤙
Preciate it bro💯 glad you enjoyed the content. More bangers on the way 🔥🔥 OnlyFamForever 💯
Saw them a few weeks ago it was off the hook 💪🏻
Did you know... that Todd McFarland creator of Spawn actually created the Cover art to this album "Follow The Leader" for Korn... the Same image of the girl playing hopscotch on the cliff at the begin is it, that is Todd MacFarland work
A scene from this video is on their album. Great song.
Cheers from Australia! Korn is a Journey. Tool is .....
Shoutout Australia 💯💯
Lmfaooo bru said magic school bus den Jeff Hardy’ got me weak -Cheers from Cali , listen to blind and falling away from me
1. Here to Stay
2. Blind
3. Got the Life
4. Falling Away From Me
5. Make Me Bad
Big shout out from Nicaragua
Blind, Got the life, Word Up, Make Me Bad, Freak On a Leash
I have a favorite song for every breath I take...for reals...they get deeper every decade
Top Three favourite Korn songs - Falling Away from Me, Black is the Soul and Rotting in Vain, from Caboolture, Queensland, Australia
KCMO 816 in the building. If you do reactions to hip hop too you gotta check out some King ISO. Really you can pick any song and you'll be blown away but recommendations would be "Brain Scanned", "Jim Carrey", "Don't Let Go" or "World War Me". Shit also have to mention "Weakened Dad" just cuz everything about that song is amazing. Even the title is a double entendre.
Yessss it's that shit! You rockin out baby...
1 Wicked
2 Falling away
3 Got the life
Nice vid man
My guy! Bumping this shit in the 602. Phoenix, AZ, big homie!
Had to check this one out too, man. Lol Great job. Top 5 for Korn: 1. Thoughtless, 2. Another Brick In the Wall, 3. Somebody Someone, 4. A.D.I.D.A.S., and 5. Right Now. I'm gonna go ahead for your initial asking's sake, and say Untouchables is my favorite album. Was my first Korn album, and helped me through alot of the stuff that was going on at that time in my life. Used to just come home from school, throw my books down, blare it, and just let it all come out by singing along with Johnathan. There's a "sequel" to "Freak On A Leash" called "Falling Away From Me". I'd love to see what you think of that one, if/when you get the chance. They also have one made up entirely of nursery rhymes, except for the chorus, called "Shoots and Ladders". I think you'd dig that one alot. Again, great reaction. Get another one to us as soon as you can.
Falling away from me
Shoots & Ladders
Got the life !

1. Here To Stay 2. Hollow Life 3. Justin 4. Children of the Korn feat. Ice Cube 5. Way Too Far
Loved this, yes, more Korn! 🤘 Hope ya react to:
