Thanks for the new video! Always great to see new SDK tutorials. I would vote for seeing your method to create the emmisive textures in Substance if you have the time for it. Thanks for your work.
Will do, thanks Roland!
Hello my friend, long time no see.... Here I am back again after a long period of time. I see you continue with your great videos to show people how to manage things with the simulator, thank you again for the support you give to the sim community.
Very cool, Federico! Thank you!
Thanks! Now you can add yourself some fire and smoke to the KlLG fire rescue exercise station 😅
Beutiful and helpful as always! I would love to see something like a tutorial for a waterfall please..
Thanks sir, a waterfall is composed water, it can be faked with smoke going down (so gravity vector positive)
I would search for a rain gif, obtain its frames and arrange in a atlas texture for more movement
Some smoke at the botton of the waterfall to obtain mist, with very low opacity
And of course a 3d model with rolling cylinder a la jeppeson 2001
Hello,
your videos are wonderful!!!
Can you explain how to place danger lights approaching a mountain?
Thank you.
Excellent Federico.
Thanks 🙏, hope that everything is clear!
i tried add cloud on a big cooling tower, haha!😄
Great, now your tower is gonna look a lot more cool 😎
Are you still thinking about making the video about hanger doors opening triggered by distance?
Hi Federico, always a big joy to see your tutorials !!! Would it be possible to make chimney smoke which can be attached to a Scenery object as a standalone, and not to a simobject ?
Thanks
Hi Claus, yeah, on the vfx is ready you can place it without the need for a Simboject! Minute 31 in the video 😉
Amazing ;-)
Thanks Fede!
Prego 😅
Beautiful, by the way, blender 3.6 is out, and there's news that they added an add on to import .max files, can you make a video on that please?
Thanks Adel!
I'm not aware about the .max import, to you have any source?
Hello, great video, this material list i dont have, how to download? 7:55 minutes. thanks
Do you mean We love VFR? it is the nearly the most downloaded free addon for the game!

@@della.g without asking, pretty sure no, but you get in touch with him on .to via direct message or on his Discord , he is a very kind person!
Hello again and thanks for your answer, I downloaded the blender and the plugin, but I couldn't enter the project in the SDK, it doesn't appear, could you make a step-by-step video to see what I'm failing or if you could give me some advice . I would appreciate it friend.
I don't know what you mean by "enter the project in the SDK"
I previous message you write that you are creating some 3d objects,
Look at my hangar video tutorial, there is the explanation how to add a modelalib in the game !
Still advice to join the Discord so you can send screenshot of what you are doing
I followed the tutorial until the end , when building the package I don't have the visual effect in the scenery ! only the thumbnail :(
@@YounesCheikh double check that you set the name for your effect, it is mandatory to change the default one!
With the last SDK update i'm unable to add a second emitter, Impossible to create a link between the visual effect and the second emitter
@@YounesCheikh I can confirm the behaviour. It is very frustrating. This is because the new nodes are not referencing correctly the guids of their parents.
You can fix it quite easily in the xml if you get what is going on there
If you join the discord I can help solve 🙂
Ciao. Ho seguito il tuo tutorial. Tutto OK e molto efficace.
grazie. @@MSFS-SDK-TUTORIALS
Hi Federico, Spero che tu stia bene. I don't know how to send you a private message, this is why I am contacting you here. Firstly, thank you so much for all your MSFS tutorials, they have helped me get used to Blender greatly. I am however having some problems with exporting models from Blender. I have used all versions of blender and I am still getting the same results. No models are exported successfully. I have followed your tutorial on the Asobo exporter to the letter but still no results. I am tearing my hair out trying to figure this out. All my textures are either 1024 x 1024, 2048 x 2048 or 4096 x 4096. I have placed the io.scene file into the correct place. I have cleaned the models and there are no loose items. Can you guide me as to what I may have missed. I am trying to place some models I have made into my ficticious airfield and I am unable to progress. HELP Please, if you are able. Kindest regards, Brian
Hi Brian, wouldn't you mind joining my Discord

Or sending me a mail federico.pinotti@hotmail.it
So I can take a look at your model and hopefull fix it 😄
Ciao Giuseppe,
Via SDK direttamente non è possibile,
È possibile cambiare l'aspetto di tutti i marker andando a lavorare sui file HTML_UI

I'm using blender 3.3.3 with Asobo Exporter 1.3.1
I have setup a portable blender install already configured with the Asobo Exporter, simply unzip and run blender

Bonjour Mon Ami!
I have made some tries on the editor, made some large smoke and can move up in the stratosphere and still see it (in the vfx editor i set 100.000 meters as visibility value)
So...forest fire smoke should work!
@@jpfil the basic smoke effect is created automatically by the Wizard i'm using in the tutorial itself 😀
@@MSFS-SDK-TUTORIALS Do you have some forest fire ready to use in the sim?
Hi Federico,
Is it possible to use your method to attach a smoke effect to a moving object such as a ship?
If yes how to proceed?
Thanks
Yep absolutely, according that the ship is a Simobject, minute 34/35 in the video,
You just need to add a bit of cofe to the model .xml and fiddle a bit to find the right position
In the same smokes are attached to airplanes too
@@MSFS-SDK-TUTORIALS
Thank you Federico
So I will be able to add smoke to the AI ship that I am adapting for MSFS
I forgot to ask the version of the SDK, which is 0.21.1...?
The version of the SDK is totally not important when working with sceneries,
A secret: you don't need to download and install any SDK , the project/scenery editor are included in the base game 😅
farlo in italiano era difficile.... Troppo macchinosa la spiegazione
