How it will work the parking surveillance mode? After 5mins entering parking mode it will start also the recording or if sample bump the car or or just like motion sensor?
It will stay active but recording will be done only if some bump is detected. No motion sensor.

In my dashcam A800 there is no timelapse setting

90% video was perfect but the wire connection into direct fuse box is very dangerous. You basically bypassed the existing fuse as well as the line for the camera. In case of short circuit, these fuses will not be able to protect now. You should use fuse extension cable to perform the last step.
Yes you are right. I tried using fuse tap for last step but there is no space in fuse box for it hence I have to drop the idea of using fuse tap.

Its very important which ends of the fuse you connect the wire, if connected wrongly your dash cam wireing will bypass the fuse this can lead to short circuit in case your new waiting fails.
Pls make the viewer's clear abt which side of the fuse to tie the wire

Hardwire kit also comes with Fuse tap adapters. Can you show how to use those adapters?
You can ask seller to send fuse taps along with hardwire kit. Because not every seller send fuse taps with hardwire kit.

one of my friend told me that installing dashcam with hardware kit drains the car battery as camera will be on all the time. do you happen to see any such issue after installation the hardware kit?
No this will not happen. There is a voltage protector in hardwire kit which will stop dashcam in case volatage drops.

Don't think so much. It's absolutely okay to install dashcam without hardwiring.

Hello, I have done same thing in my Baleno alpha automatic. Dash cam works only for 30 mins post engine turn off. And post 30 mins dash cam also turns off. Can you help to resolve ?
Check setting. There must be an option of "auto off after stop" set it to "never automatica power off"

I have Tata Tiago (XE Diesel 2017 Model) and here's the perfect way for Hardwiring installation in fuse section.
1. For VCC (F8-10A Cluster/OBD)
2. For ACC (F21-15A Power SKT Console)

You have to only hardwire the main unit which is the front dash cam. Rear dash cam take power from the main unit and no separate power supply is required.

Maine wolfbox ka mirror dashcam liya h. Mujhe hardwire kit use krni h taki mera cigg lighter port free rahe. But hardwire kit k sath m ye chahta hun ki dashcam tbhi on ho jab gadi ignition mode me ho taki battery pe koi fark nhi pade jab gadi band ho.. ye kaise kiya ja skta h ?

Do you have hardwire kit? If Yes then,
Connect,
1. Ground - To Negative
2. VCC+ to fuse that get power when key is at Ignition
3. ACC - You have 2 option for this wire, either leave it unconnected or connect to fuse that get power when key is at Ignition.

Can we dismount a dashcam and remount it on a new car? I'm thinking of buying a dashcam long term, but I'm not sure if I can reuse the dashcam if I buy a new car in between. Even if I buy extra plastic strip, will the adhesive on the dashcam itself work if I unstick it from somewhere and then try to restick it? I'd really appreciate some help on this. Awesome video bhai!

Understand the concept irrespective of vehicle,
ACC - Give connection to the fuse that get power when key is at ignition
VCC - Give connection to the fuse that get power every-time. whether key is at on or off.

You have bypassed the fuse by doing this. This can lead to shortcircuit.
Yes, I know but Wagon r fuse box is too small to accommodate fuse tap hence there was no other option.
DDPAI has better hardwire kit.
here you just can't put wire into any end of the fuse. what if the dashcam has a short-circuit and you have placed the wire into the end that has direct connection to positive terminal.
DDPAI has dedicated 2 A fuse for the dashcam it self and you won't see any naked wire.
Actually I want to use fuse taps but unfortunately fuse box has limited space so fuse taps option didn't worked out hence I had to directly connect it

I did hard wiring and didn't use car for just 2 days n next day complete battery got drained.I had to do battery jump start
So never do hardwiring.

I was so impressed on watching this video but my service centre personnel says mounting a dashcam will void my warranty. Is that true?? I cannot get any authentic info regarding validity of warranty on installation of dashcam. Please help if someone knows.
There is no clear instructions on warranty. Ask any thing from service center they will say that it will avoid warranty if you get it installed from outside. It is easy money making process as prices are 2-3 higher in showroom for same accessories available outside.
Service center task is to deter you from any attempt to install aftermarket accessories.
But to my best knowledge as far we are not cutting any original company wire we are not doing anything wrong.

@@arc0nth no, dashcam will not void the warranty. Most of the cars in USA have dashcam, do you think, they all are fools..... just keep one thing in mind, don't mess with fuse box, like this guy did.... just use a long USB cable, that will come under and connect to your USB charger

To disconnect dashcam you have to remove the power cable from dashcam in case you are using hardwire kit.
