Hi Richard, still the proud owner of a stage 2 tts 2008 rocket 3 ,what is the reasoning why you didn't go with a cogged belt on the rocket 3 kit and a ribbed belt was used instead it has been a on goin issue with belt slip at areas above 5000 rpm on occasion unfortunately sometimes loosing a pound or 2 of boost in the upper range, any suggestions or could I invest some time into a cogged gear set and belt or is it even worth the effort for a daily cruiser, lol, thank you Richard for building these kits for us to play.
That year Rotrex won’t survive with a tooth belt it will rip the thread out of the drive plate inside. A good step would be for us to make 7 rib pulleys and belt.
See from the video Richard uses the 560-8MX-20, GATES, POWERGRIP GTX Metric Timing Belt. Maybe try the German 560-8M-20-HL, Optibelt, OMEGA HL High Performance Timing Belt. Same price at €33
I'm thinking to order one for my Gen 1 Hayabusa. Is there a thicker Headgasket included or needed? Is there a Basemap for PCV available or is a ECU Flash necessary? Thanks a lot and Greetings from Germany
Hi. Depends on the year Gen 1. Pcv with ign module. Is an easy option. Woolich racing do software for later Gen 1’s. I can supply gaskets and head stud set at extra cost. Please email richard@tts-performance.co.uk for an in depth reply.
So stoked to get mine and experience MAJOR HP on my Gen 2!! Thanks so much for the super quick email replies and info Richard, you made the decision to purchase your kit and the experience so far a fantastic one! I’ll let you know when it arrives….. William I didn’t see the fuel tank perforated trim panel the layout there Richard?
@@TTSPerformance awesome!!!!! Thanks so much Richard, I hope you have a fantastic vacation and I’ll let you know via email when the kit arrives safely! I will be installing it in approximately 3-4 weeks when a mate of mine gets freed up help me install it! This will give me time to get a few of the parts powder coated as we discussed (probably the outside belt cover and any other exposed brackets/plates to give that “stealthy” appearance (you described it best “Stealthy”!!!). As far as the maps/tune goes, are they supplied on a thumb drive or disc? I don’t have the software to load up the maps into the ECU but I plan on setting an appointment w Chris “Moore Mafia” Moore in Taylors South Carolina to load up the ecu tune/map and get her tweaked for the absolute maximum amount of rear wheel /break HP!!
Hi im wondering if this would be compatible with a suzuki "expresso" (hayabusa engine swapped suzuki cappuccino" im still trying to figure out if it would still fit
Hi..What would the total cost be including the installation.I have a 2014 Hayabusa.Thanks.
