I've never really played pendulums before, I'm fairly new to the game and haven't really had the time to learn these kinds of decks but this might change my mindset on pends

Make sure to include Ash follow-ups, and cards to run for that. Because from what I've seen and tested, Ash Blossom hitting the new quick play or the field spell on your first turn is killer unless you draw very well. The continuous spell protects from turn 2 onwards if you run it

Honestly, the game is probably at an appropriate level of power for Kirin to come back.
Because holy shit Kirin is just Kashtira Fenrir that also came out 7 yrs ago.
I'd agree, but add it's a much weaker Fenrir that came out 7 years ago. Banishing facedown is so much stronger, and searching any Kashtira including itself is stronger than returning a pendulum monster to your hand to recur it
Fenrir in itself destroys Kirin
@@DelusionalArondight Does it? Fenrir has no protection, and no recursion, much less, it very easily bricks your hand if you already have presence. Kirin is a pendulum, meaning it has built in recursion, and a built in summon condition. It doesn't search like fenrir, meaning it's follow up potential is less than fenrir, but it absolutely makes up for it by being very difficult to out once, and even more difficult to out permanently.
For context, how exactly is Kashtira outing Kirin? Nothing Kashtira has can out kirin.

@@mohwe1007 Kirin is not just a qe bounce, it's an endlessly recurrable untargetable, indestructible, quick effect bounce that gets summoned every turn.
This is a hell of a power up for pendulums.
@@hhghfhhfh6146 which is what they should've done years ago, instead we got the Electrumite situation in the TCG, where because the only card that was too good on any pendulum deck got banned almost no pendulum deck could function consistently for years. Had they just made good, but archetype specific cards, especially link monsters which are vital for pendulum decks, then we wouldn't have had this insane desert crossing. But the recent let up on limited Endymion and Magician cards, the superb support for older pendulum archetypes like Dracoslayer, new archetypes with good potential like Vaylantz and now this seem to indicate a new era in which anti-pendulum hate boners no longer dictate what cards are acceptable to print or not.

So, if you play the majesty pegasus dracoslayer, you can end up on the new xyz, 2 other majespecter, a full scale, the e-tele set, 1 trap and secret village of spellcaster with just bunbuku and a card to discard off of Majesty Pegasus (It counts as a majespector, so it can be sent by the new link). Clearwing magician is also a nice include, because you can special it with the xyz. So you have synchro 7-8 options, if you get to turn 3.

Never thought about it, but a lot of the Majespecter s/t support does just say WIND for the tributes, I guess before it just wasn't so easy to get to White Wing Magician on a Majespecter deck without making an absolute mess with cards like Pendulum Call and a bunch of garnets.
Can’t wait for them to print these cards and then just not reprint the old majespecters we need for the deck. See herald of the chalice and artorigus for DUNE infernoble support, see abomination’s prison and soul of rage for DUNE unchained support, see Deneb for CYAC tellar support

Also, the deck now have synergy with the new Dracoslayer and Draco Face-Off, so it is pretty easy to make the new link-2. I already bought my Majespecter cards, it will be great to play with it :v

Electrumite is better for every other pendulum deck but this Majespecter link monster literally couldn't be better for this deck- (Unless it had no restrictions that is) literally a custom card.

damn finally some good card for pendulum. Cant wait for it to get release in Master duel. Dracoslayer was kinda underused deck in master duel and with this new card maybe people will start playing more dracoslayer now

omg no way brooo. Majespecter almost got me to quit learning YGO back when I started in 2016 and kept facing this deck. Qli and Infernoids were even manageable then.
Finally with this new Majespecter support we can have the return of the Pendulum King

Is it possible that metalfoe have new support in the future? Thought it would come with the fire support but it didn’t. Hopefully it will come with recent pendulum supports.
This deck still has the same weaknesses as before. Loses to a/t removal, big untargetable monsters and denko lol. I remember playing this kozmo format it was so terrible

The Ash read is pretty obvious too. Oh, you Tributed with the field spell or new quick play? Well, you tried to have a turn. Only hard choice is whether to Ash the Raccoon when normal summoned. If the Majespecter player has Porcupine or Majesty Dracoslayer + any other pendulum monster, they can still full combo with 1 less interruption. If they don't, they need to have opened scales in addition to that to play, and either the field spell or the new quick play to get a good combo off
@@braedonmb Opening Porcupine, Majesty + Majespecter, Prosperity, Wind + Majespecter or any way to the link monster without using Wind plays through Ash. But yeah, it's very obvious to just Ash the Bunbuku or Wind (whatever they do first) and just pray that's enough

Windwitch majespecter could be a decent option.
Majespecter link monster is great, however, because it can add from either the extra or the main, that means Ash Blossom shuts it down hard, Electrumite is the eternal queen still since its relevant effects can't be Ash'd.
NVM: I am a retard and didn't read that properly, it adds from the main to the extra. Still a shame it doesn't get the default Majespecter protection against s/t, but then again none of their other extra deck monsters does have it.

This is good, going first, what about going 2nd, can this break boards? That's more important I think.
Non engine + dracoslayers
It can make Ignister for non-target shuffle, the old spells (Cyclone & Storm) can destroy or shuffle, but have actual cost to them, and Majespecters is one of the decks that runs Prosperity the best (other than decks that don't need the extra deck at all), so you can dig for board breakers better.
If Kirin is unbanned, you can double Kaiju using it, getting a search off each one with the new rank 4 (first search probably to grab Kirin to recycle the Kaiju)
Still need Electrum off the Ban List, then this deck be the best deck 100%

At nowadays power level, konami should release out kirin cause its not a major problem anymore. Heck even most of pendulum decks are rouge

At least the deck is more consistent going majority majespecters and some dracoslayers. Unchained was meh for two years until support came. If the deck gets more 1 card starters itll be tier 2-1.5. Now if majespecters get in engine board breakers or negates then it’s cooking to tier 1. If infernobles can get negates so can these guys lol
@@thestormtrooperwhocanaim496 a pendulum deck being this high up in playability is just Coping. I too like pendulums a lot as a mechanic but let's stop kidding ourselves we were saying the same for dracoslayers being the best deck and they didn't achieve anything even after tears died
