What I don’t like is how many referees have this smug look when a player is arguing with them over a point like the first women. She looked like it was funny that Zhang was upset
I agree, it is unprofessional.
Agreed. Absolutely disgraceful.
Just making fun of asians you know, they so weak and poor but they know what hard work really is. Thats why China is going to overtake america
Unfortunately, it's to show no emotion or any sign of empathy and it actually shows professionalism. Yes, the look they give them as if they are children arguing about silly things is considered professional. Players walk on think ice when they engage in an argument with an umpire.
Glue Zoom ... what does America have to do with that match at all?
What a surprise that Kyrgios was in this video.
He had a valid point. Nadal takes forever to do his pathetic routines and the umpires somehow allow it. Any other player would be penalised for timewasting.
Kyrgios was right. Maybe his bluntness and Attitude weren’t nice. But umpire for sure was against him and on Nadal side. The average time between serves for Nadal was like 26 seconds so he should’ve been penalised at least 2-3 times.

Kyrios is as boring as hell and goes on and on and on like a bl...... broken record. Such a stupid dork. Childish as hell. Grow up kyrios you loser.
Little wonder Nadal is faking an injury. Who would want to play Kyrios again after this petulant display.
Hawkeye is malfunctioning you can see every replay it's on half of the line. 3 consecutive replays with the result half of the line.
Its actually very interesting how the umpire spent so much time arguing with Nick instead of strictly managing the 25 second rule for Rafa and find a psychologist for Nick. I think that'll do the job
Yay brilliant comment except we all know Rafa is the way he is, and none of the other players have whined about it like weirdo kyrios who I agree needs a psychologist.
@@mabear9238 so Nadal deserves special treatment. Gotcha
@@hippios Nope not special treatment, respect, but then crazy kyrios wouldn't know the meaning of respect. He's a cheat, always arguing with the umpire to disrupt the game when he's loosing or when the umpire goes against him. Not a nice person whatsoever.

@@hippios Yeah you, Kyrios is a crazy nut. You talk about Rafa cheating lol, Kyrios is well know for that, but he's sneekie with it. But we all see through his manipulating sneekie moves. Yelling, arguing, racket bashing, crowd bashing, and the bl...... boringly list goes on and on an on and sooooo repetitive. He needs to grow up, the entitled spoilt brat. Maybe if he grew up and got some manners and some respect for his opponents, people might give him credit when he does show the odd moments of great tennis that he's certainly capable of but he's not consistent because he's too busy fighting with everyone around him. The guy has anger issues such a pity.. Plus I think the guy loves himself too much.I could be wrong about him loving himself, maybe he has insecurity and self confidence issues. If that's the case I feel for him because he could be a top player.
@1:02 wasn’t out, she was actually right to argue her valid point
I watched it at 0.25 for a few times and the ball was not out
To be honest, Kyrgios had a point concerning Nadal's slow play between serves....
100% true. I hate Kyrgios' attitude, but his point about Nadal taking all his time is on point. It feels like the umpires are very indulgent over Nadal's serve in Grand Slams simply because there's something in it for them. Like, I don't know, having a chance to be on the next Nadal's match / tournament and thus getting paid more.
Kyrgios is his own worst enemy, he could have raised his concern and reminded the umpire about playing to the server however he insulted the umpire repeatedly. Thus any 50/50 call in future is going to go against him. If you insult someone they will never see your point of view.
DubCedSky kyrgios complains about everything anyways , so no umpire can take him serious.
You all need to learn how to read. I was talking about his complaints concerning the time Nadal takes between his serves. I said nothing about the rest of his complaints, which were annoying..
Yeah just think what Nadal wouldn’t have won if he was called out each 20+ second serve. Lots of French probably still though.
I’d make it a 21 second rule, just to mess with his OCD 😂
I think Nick breaks more of a sweat goin at it with the umpire rather than actually playing 😂
That is the whole point. It's a coping strategy. This way he doesn't have to take responsibility for losing a match or God forbid accept that his opponent is just better than him.
because he has more talent in his pinky than all of them put together
Dan Floros so true haha
I think you're just a jealous piece of shit.

Nick was so unprofessional but to be fair the umpire was in the wrong on almost every call he made.
He took it too far but its the only time he can say it and people can watch and agree. Could never say it in a interview
Unfortunately, its a lose lose. If he says it in an interview, the fans don't have sympathy, he's a crybaby making a fuss. If he says it during the game he gets penalized, but he has the support of the crowd seeing him being cheated possibly, and he could possibly get a more level playing field.
I can’t stand Kyrgios off the court, but he was absolutely right here. Nadal never gets warned for sloooow play, yet Kyrgios wanted to play fast and was not allowed. Not right.
Am i missing something? 12:20 Nick's return went into the net, the call came after he hit it. The umpire is right to award Nadal the point.
@@skychaos87 You are correct, perhaps Kyrgios was wrong in this case. Probably just acting on emotions
This is my issue with Nick Kyrgios: he was making a valid point about Nadal failing to play to the speed of the server (and I’m saying that as a massive Nadal fan). But the way he goes about it is all wrong. He’s grown so used to arguing with umpires (a lot of the time for less valid reasons than during this year’s Wimbledon match) that when he has a valid challenge, he doesn’t articulate the issue well. It’s second nature for him to veer off topic and just start bashing the umpire which isn’t going to achieve anything. In fact, it usually has the adverse affect that he desires. Also, the spitting at 8:55 makes me agree with commentators, former players and current players (like Nadal) that he lacks basic respect for the game.
I get that Nick is an idiot but you can understand the frustration because this stuff with rafa taking too much time has been going on since forever and umpires are too afraid to deal with Rafa because he's legend of the sport. Rules should be same for everybody regardless of how many grand slams players have.

I reckon Nick should just serve the ball regardless if he's ready or not....play to the speed of the server.
Doesnt matter..as long as nadal has his hand up before the serve motion than the serve doesnt count.
@@thomasodenkirk6444 true...guess he should just serve at Nadal's body majority of the time and then serve underarm short. Nadal gets way too much leniency when it comes to taking his time.
@@thomasodenkirk6444 At least that make a "proper" scene out of it. It forces the umpire to make the call to replay the point, and the umpire then will have to caution his decision as people will then review and judge his calls. But when Nick went up to the umpire and complains, it becomes an opinionated argument from both sides where it serves no real purpose.
thomas odenkirk that’s not how it works though, the rules are play to the speed of the server. Nadal is no exception. Nick would be entitled to the point.

It’s good to see most comments understand Kyrgios is a lunatic BUT he was correct in everything he said. Nadal is treated differently, he does take too long inbetween points, he should be ready for when Kyrgios is about to serve and he had no reason to apologize for striking Nadal FROM THE BASELINE!!
Regarding the time, mind games-Kyrgios plays them and Rafa played right back (on average Nadal was at 26 secs, one sec above the limit). That shot on Rafa was bs and Kyrgios didn't even acknowledge the fact it was a purposeful body shot; he should have apologized; it's called tact, something that is still prized in Tennis bro
*Aside, Nick is a true talent and should take a page from Paire's book; he stopped the complaining and freaking out and rose from high 50s to high 20s. Focus and play the game.

The first two were out. Especially the first one. Like no doubt.
Huge Nadal fan here but Kygrios was every bit right to react that way. He may have come off as disrespectful but that umpire was not doing his job to make sure players all follow the rules. I've seen Nadal have a go at umpires sometimes and normally they just brush him off. But to receive a code violation for asking (if true as claimed) to play with new balls just before the server serves is a bit much. I mean if that's the case, then Nadal should have received time violation for every time he put off Kyrgios off his service motion/routine. Plus, that call on the hawk eye to not replay points was hugely unfair. The umpire should have given Kyrgios the benefit of the doubt knowing that the only reason the call was challenged was because the line judge called it out.
Yes Kyrgios was right, but the way he kept berating the umpire even 1-2 sets after the incident was uncalled for, he could have gotten a penalty for that

14:16 I see "Gentlemen's Singles" aha no thanks, I'll take "Rage Singles" haha
All comments about the interactions between nick and the umpire aside, that part at the end where nick hit Nadal made me lose all respect for him. How could you just turn your back after hitting someone in a professional match without apologizing, and then flipping your racket as if you think you’re so cool?
what was illegal about the shot. It was a good one, he doesnt need to apologize. That's the risk you take when you approach the net.
@@adrianmacas5789 It's not about legality or what's a fair shot in that situation. You put up a hand in that situation just to say, "hey mate, not trying to go at you, that's just the shot I had to take there." It's about etiquette and sportsmanship. But Nick has proved time and time again that he possesses neither of those things. Fair enough if you don't care about that, but I prefer athletes with a little bit of class.
@@shortyrags Nadal is a cheater and had it coming. He should have been coded too
@@shortyrags That's the dumbest shit I have ever read. If you're too afraid of getting hit by a ball, don't approach the net. Nick doesn't owe Nadal anything in that scenario. Very understandable considering what Nick dealt with that whole match. Although Nick acts like a child and is often a crybaby, I have no problem with that shot.
I don't play tennis, but it looked like a good shot to me, hard to return, and Nadal kept asking for him to wait on his serve, why should he apologize for a good shot to someone like that?

Nadal: I got this!!
Kyrios: come at the net again
Awesome!!
Has Kyrgios ever taken responsibility for losing a match?
No
This is why you don't trust a computer during a challenge call.
They should have the Hawkeye system set up the way it was at Madrid this year and Acapulco with the actual camera angle. Zero doubt
